SUCCESS: Cuba's Own Covid Vaccines!!!

But Americans, of course, Are Not Supposed to Know It!! 

   One of the world's most respected health and science journals, Nature, this week had the very long and important Headline, sub-Headline, and study that is depicted above. Nature has offices around the world staffed by world-renowned geneticists, doctors, and scientists in cities such as London, NY, SF, Berlin, etc. While this article would be useful for and interesting to Americans, the USA's plethora of well-funded blogs and the USA's mainstream media led by the Miami Herald, Washington Post, NY Times, etc., are devoted to only printing and broadcasting anti-Cuban propaganda...or real news that sheds only negative images of Cuba. But for what it's worth, here is the start of that long article in Nature that explains the startling efficacy of Cuba's own Covid vaccines.

     The new article in Nature, as shown above, states: "When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Cuba decided not to wait on the rest of the world to develop vaccines. The United States 60-year-old economic embargo against the country, which prevents US-made products from being exported there, would make it difficult for Cuba to acquire vaccines and therapies, researchers and officials knew, 'it was best, for protecting our population, to be independent,' says Vicente Verez Bencomo, director-general of the Finlay Institute of Vaccines in Havana."

     This is Vicente Verez Bencoma, the head of the renowned Finlay Institute of Vaccines. The world's health & science Superstars, such as Nature, are aware that Dr. Verez has saved many lives in Cuba and around the world but the U. S. media since 1959 has repeatedly told Americans that all the good Cubans are in Miami, Newark, and in the U. S. Congress...but please understand that Dr. Verez and his colleagues are still in Cuba and doing fantastic things in their health and scientific work, even though Nature this week allowed Dr Verez to remind the world that "...the United States 60-year-old embargo against his country..." is designed to starve the island's people as well as starve his famed Finlay Institute {that saves SO MANY  lives}.

Of course, the U. S. Embargo of Cuba, first imposed in 1962, is primarily designed to starve Cuban families and great Cubans like Dr. Vicente Velez but its off-shoots, of course, also harm great Americans like Dr. Candace Johnson, the renowned President & CEO of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Johnson has been to Havana many times because of her admiration of the Finlay Institute and Dr. Johnson has fought tenaciously to have a lung vaccine developed by the Finlay Institute for her own patients. Perhaps one day both the U. S. media and the U. S. government might relax its genocidal Embargo against Cuba at least enough to acknowledge the great life-saving work that great people like Dr. Vicente Velez and Dr. Candace Johnson do, but don't count on it if it has ANY POSITIVE Cuban connotations.

     When the American people can be so easily propagandized to not be ashamed of the two images depicted above, perhaps the Superpower United States is actually in more trouble than the Caribbean island nation of Cuba.
