With the Strongest Effort Since 1962!!
Today -- on September 14th, 2023 -- the Cuban people are being told that President Diaz-Canel is launching the most extensive effort in the island's revolutionary history to survive the U. S. EMBARGO that began in 1962 to strangle Cuba's economy by strangling the Cuban people to enduce them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government that had overthrown the U.S./Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in 1959. President Diaz-Canel's massive approach to combat it in mid-September of 2023 includes Havana hosting what Diaz-Canel calls "Cuba G77 * 2023", which begins tomorrow in the Cuban capital. The images shown below reveal what inspired Diaz-Canel to devise Cuba G77 and it was Cuba's massive support at the recent BRICS Summit in South Africa led by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa but also included 72 other important nations that also displayed strong support for Cuba's efforts to end the endless U. S. EMBARGO. On his way to the BRICS Summit Diaz-Canel stopped off in five other countries and was greeted with red-carpet receptions, which surprised President Diaz-Canel...and inspired this weekend's Cuba G77 * 2023. Some of the photos below show some of the foreign leaders arriving in Havana since last night and some show Diaz-Canel's red-carpet treatment on the way to the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg:
Perhaps the President of Mozambique, FILIPE NYUSI, made the comment that inspired Cuba's President Diaz-Canel the most: "As Africa's most famed and most beloved Nelson Mandela said, three dozen African nations owe Cuba for their shedding the yoke of colonial imperialism and gaining our independence. Now in 2023 we need to help Cuba shed the yoke of the U. S. strangulation of Cuba's economy, a process that the world has cowardly allowed to exist for senseless decades."
Thus this weekend -- September 15th & 16th, 2023 -- Cuba is hosting a CUBA G77* 2023 Summit in Havana. President Filipe Nyusi of Mozamibique, and others leaders, hope the gathering will help convince the United States to finally end its EMBARGO of Cuba that has existed since 1962.
