July 2026 ends with NO "regime change" in Cuba!!

        A lot of things are happening around the world at the End of July in 2026 but closer to home in the United States and in the Caribbean many people are still waiting to find out what the USA's ultra-powerful and Miami-born Secretary of State Marco Rubio plans to do about his lifelong and current "regime change" in nearby Cuba.

      Today on July 27th in 2026 Havana's notable and respected Educator and Computer Scientist Carlos Miguel Perez Reyes posted the above interview with Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel. The Cuban leader began with this insightful and optimistic thought: "Are we going to talk about Utopia?" In other words, President Diaz-Canel wanted to talk about a day when his Cuba would have normal relations with the nearby Superpower United States, meaning a relationship in which Cuba will be allowed to be finally free from seven decades of drastic U. S. sanctions, embargoes, and blockades that Diaz-Canel believes have been genocidal to generations of Cuba's everyday people.

      As indicated above, many Cuban-Americans disagree with Cuban-American Marco Rubio about how Miami and Washington have treated Cubans in Cuba since 1959.

      This month the poster above heralded one of the ongoing protests in which notable experts such as Dr. Helen Yaffe, the Professor from Glasgow, powerfully detailed how deeply the USA's Miami-powered Cuban policies have vastly enriched and empowered Cubans in Miami but "starved, deprived, and made miserable" Cubans in Cuba.

      The most ubiquitous journalist reporting from Cuba is Liz Oliva Hernandez and she sharply disagrees with Miami-born U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio who says, "Cuba is a threat to the United States." Of course, Liz emphatically says, "Cuba is not a threat to the United States...period." 

      On January 1st in 1959 the Cuban Revolution shocked the world by overthrowing the brutal BATISTA DICTATORSHIP that was supported by the Mafia, the United States, and by dozens of the largest and richest U. S. companies. Certainly Revolutionary Cuba has had governmental problems but, yes, it can make a case that it has been better than Mafia dictator Batista. And many Cuban experts such as the Scottish professor Helen Yaffe has used notable speeches, seminars, and books to point out that, except for the many decades of deadly sanctions and other drastic actions by the colossal superpower United States since 1959, Cuba sincerely believes the island could have been financially secure if tourism and other money sources have not been blocked or tightly restricted by the United States.

Cuba is awash with cobalt and other valuable minerals.

The U. S. needs to help Cuba mine its valuable minerals.

Being optimistic, Cuba opened a new store in July, 2026.

     But Cuba, as it enters August in 2026, is abundantly aware that it will always have the Superpower United States as its northern neighbor. Moreover, as you can see above, the United States from its beginning 250 years ago, has literally graved owning or dominating Cuba. Thomas Jefferson, the greatest of America's Founding Fathers, by 1817 was proclaiming: "If we seize Cuba we will be masters of the Caribbean." And such proclamations in the U. S. have not ceased since then.

     Like Thomas Jefferson in 1817, Trump and Rubio in 2026 clearly crave Cuba. Listen closely to the 11-minute YouTube video shown below of Marco Rubio telling the U. S. Congress what the United States plans to do to both Venezuela and Cuba.

Rubio today on July 22-2026 clarifies Cuban plans

      Today on July 22nd in 2026 Miami-born Cuban-American Marco Rubio is arguably the second most powerful person in the world thanks to his positions as President Donald Trump's Secretary of State and also as the top U. S. National Security Advisor. Now at age 55 Rubio all of his adult life has dreamed of overthrowing the stubborn Cuban Revolution, which is over two decades older than he is. Many have believed that by this time in 2025 he would have accomplished and fulfilled that dream if it was not for the ongoing U.S-Iran War. But Today Rubio, as shown above seemed to face present reality. Today the caption above {translated from Spanish to English} says: "Marco Rubio clarifies that the United States has not set a date for regime change in Cuba." 

     The powerful U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a major news conference today in Manila, Philippines. Surprisingly, he spent more time talking about and being questioned about Cuba than about Iran.

     And today -- on July 22nd in 2026 -- in the Phillippines Marco Rubio seemed to stress that he understands that neither a military takeover of Cuba nor trying to charge 95-year-old Raul Castro for multiple murders have become unpopular decisions even in the United States. Born in Miami, Rubio  -- at least today in Manila -- appeared to be trying to suggest that all U. S. decisions pertaining to Cuba should not solely continue to be dictated by extremist Cuban-Americans in and from Miami!! In 2028 the very intelligent and still ambitious Marco Rubio will likely be the Republican candidate for President and he will need more than just Miami votes to win a national election. Perhaps that persuaded him to "clarify" or soft his regime plans for Cuba. 

"Can Cuba outlast Marco Rubio?"

Probably not, but it is possible!!

8th Street in Miami already rules Cuba.

        Today is July 7th in 2026. In the past 48 hours CNN and others such as CBS News, as shown above, have informed the world that Cuba is under yet another Power Blackout that covers the entire island.

        And once again, to close out this first week in July of 2026, many unbiased people around the world are asking, "WHY IS CUBA FACING ANOTHER NATIONWIDE BLACKOUT?"...not to mention other dire deprivations such as food shortages, medical shortages, etc., etc.? In the nearby United States, the superpowers in Miami and in Washington say all of Cuba's problems for decades have been caused by its Revolutionary government that overthrew the brutal U.S-backed/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship way back on January 1st in 1959. But Cuba and most of the rest of the world believes the island's dire problems are mainly caused by the nearby Superpower United States allowing only extreme Counter Revolutionaries in Miami to dictate U. S. Cuban policies that clearly enrich and empower Miami Cubans while clearly devastating the Cubans who live in Cuba!!! 

     In other words, most people believe that the Cubans who rule 8th Street in Miami have dictated the USA's Cuban policies since 1959!! And furthermore most people believe those policies that are backed by the Superpower U. S. government, while so far being unable to overthrow the Cuban Revolution's 1959 victory, have instead devastated the lives of generations of everyday Cubans on the island.

      Above is just one example today of how 8th Street/Little Havana in Miami dictates the U. S. Cuban policies, which is by using massive U. S. influence to make sure that other countries and regions DO NOT help Cuba. As shown above, one brave leader, President Roberto Occhiuto in Calabria, badly wants to pay for a contingent of very skilled Cuban doctors to care for his people, including the sick Calabrian baby shown above. But, as always, the U. S. -- while it tries to starve the Cuban economy -- tries to influence President Occhiuto not to hire any of the well-trained Cuban doctors even though they are needed in Calabria, which is a rich area controlled by the rich and very democratic nation of Italy. Most of the U. S. media never mentions such things but most of the world readily understands that 8th Street Miami Cubans in Little Havana easily persuade the U. S. to do their Cuban bidding.

    For sure, 8th Street in Miami-Florida -- the centerpiece of Little Havana USA -- is one reason the report shown above explains why Cuban hotels are deserted and vacant as tourists, a financial lifeline, are restricted by massive U. S. sanctions on the island. For years over forty 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star hotels co-controlled by Spain's two Hotel & Resort giants Melia and Iberostar have patiently waited for the U. S. to end or loosen its Cuban sanctions, but finally in 2026 those two major hotel chains have given up as the reality of "a U.S.-orchestrated regime change in Cuba" looms large.
