As When Batista Ruled Cuba!!
Back in the 1950s the brutal, thieving, Mafia-riddled Fulgencio Batista's military dictatorship ruled Cuba with massive support from the United States. That was because Batista, the Mafia, and U. S. businessmen shared in the vast spoils from the massive revenues rolling into Cuba from tourists, gambling, prostitution, drugs, etc., etc.
But in Batista's Mafia-ruled Cuba in the 1950s the leaders -- Luciano, Batista, and Lansky -- knew they had their own powerful police/army thugs and were also backed by the nearby United States, the strongest nation in the whole world. Thus, the wholesale rape & robbery of Cuba continued without any concern for protests from everyday Cubans, and thus the Batistianos didn't even bother to toss a few crumbs to the majority Cubans, and if there were any hints of protests the Batistianos simply murdered Cubans, especially children, to blunt any thoughts of resistance. But Cubans did resist, especially mothers such as the ones shown above that bravely took to the streets to let the world, thanks to coverage by the journalist Herbert L. Matthews of the NY Times, that they were willing to die to protest the murders of their children by the Batistianos. Those marches by the Cuban mothers not only informed the world and the United States about what was going on in Cuba in the 1950s but Cuban mothers like the ones shown above spawned the Cuban Revolution, which on the first day of 1959 chased the Batistianos off the island, mostly to nearby Miami where the Counter Revolutionary stronghold of Little Havana has existed to this very day in September-2023.
The two images above -- the Cuban Revolution and Little Havana USA -- bring us to today, September 5th, 2023, and to these Top Cuban Headlines saturating the U. S. media:
The giant Cuban Headlines today -- September 5th-2023 -- as usual stress whatever can be best used to encourage the Superpower U. S. to finally overthrow Revolutionary Cuba, a process that has existed since January 1st of 1959 -- and a process that has included a record assassination attempts against Cuban leaders, the 1961 Bay of Pigs military attack, the Embargo/Blockade that has existed since 1962, etc. One prime excuse to finally annihilate Revolutionary Cuba has been to tie Cuba in with foreign entanglements -- such as the current Russia-Ukraine War. Thus, suggesting in September of 2023 that Russia is soliciting Cuban soldiers to fight in the current war stirs more anti-Cuba rhetoric, maybe enough to do the job this time. All of the Headlines above are from U. S. sources today except for the one by the London-based Reuters News Agency, so that is the unbiased article regarding the prospect of Cuban soldiers going to war that you should depend on.
The aforementioned Reuters Cuban article about Cuban soldiers and the Russia-Ukraine War was written by the great journalist/author Marc Frank whose insightful Cuban Revelations are always honest and unbiased.
And, in other words, what has always been wrong about Cuban News being reported by the U. S. media is the sheer fact that it is invariably totally biased, and slanted with hopes for a regime change in Cuba. Yes, study the historic quotations above and you will note that the United States, almost from the day it was born, has had an unholy craving to conquer, dominate, and exploit the beautiful, lush, and strategically located island-nation of Cuba. I mean for God's Sake, please note that in 1817 Thomas Jefferson himself was saying: "If we conquer Cuba we will be masters of the universe." In 1823 Thomas Jefferson was saying, "I candidly confess that I have ever looked on Cuba as the most interesting addition which could be made to our system of states." So study those two quotations from the incomparable Founding Father Thomas Jefferson shown above, and then study the other quotes below Mr. Jefferson's all-out cravings for Cuba. I believe that the quotations above prove two things: {1} How pugnacious little Cuba is and {2} how greedy the imperative superpower United States has been and is regarding the desired possession of its little feisty neighbor.
