Cayman Islands Warned About Flights to Cuba!!

 DO NOT BE CUBA'S FRIEND!!

The Cayman Islands, the money-famed UK nation, is Cuba's nearest Caribbean neighbor. As the U. S. in August of 2023 tightens its six-decade-old economic Embargo of Cuba, the U. S. in the first week of August-2023 is tightening the screws on the Cayman Islands regarding Cuba.
The prime media source in the Cayman Islands is the Cayman Compass. The photo above is from the Cayman Compass and it shows a red 1950s-era convertible driving in Havana as a huge tourish ship docks in the Cuban capital, which is a rarity because of the U. S. Embargo. The caption to this photo explained that the Cayman Islands is being forced by the U. S. to alter its twice-a-week flights to and from Cuba.
As you can see above, back in July of 2023 the Cayman Compass reported that the U. S. was clamping down on travellers from the Cayman Islands being able to go to Cuba. Now fast forward to today -- August 2nd, 2023 -- and you see below that the Cayman Compass reports that the U. S. keeps clamping down on tourists going to Cuba -- including from the Cayman Islands, Cuba's closest neighbor.
Above on August 2nd-2023 the Cayman Compass has the headline shown above: "Cayman Airways keeping an eye on Cuba route following ESTA clampdown." Below the article explains what ESTA is -- the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation law that the U. S. is using to punish the Cayman Islands as a way to punish Cuba.
As you can see above as reported today by the Cayman Compass, the U. S. is punishing the Cayman Islands to punish Cuba, which is something the U. S. has done since 1962 to expand the U. S. economic Embargo against Cuba.
As the Cayman Compass reported today on August 2nd-2023, the U. S. Embargo against Cuba that started in 1962 is continualy being expanded to starve Cuba of its means to accumulate money, such as trying to block tourism to the Caribbean's largest, most beautiful, and most intriguing nation. Of course, using the Embargo to punish other nations to further punish Cuba is a part of the Embargo strategy. As one of his last acts as President, Donald Trump put Cuba on its very short list of nations "that sponsor terrorism." Most people believed that Trump's successor, Joe Biden, would remove Cuba off that damning list, but it hasn't happened. So, that is why on August 2nd of 2023 the U. S. can punish other nations, such as the Cayman Islands, for doing even a little business with Cuba. Of course, the few extreme Counter Revoluvionary Cubans in the U. S. who live or work in Miami or Washington love such U. S. laws.
As you can see above, the Cayman Islands {UK} is due south of Cuba while Florida {U. S.} is due north of Cuba. When the U. S., the world's strongest and richest nation, can enforce other nations to comply with their Embargo strategies, the intrigue and consternation about how in the world has Cuba survived since 1959 till AUGUST 2ND OF 2023 is a question that astounds many people???
Americans are not supposed to study or comtemplate the two images of the Embargo shown above and created by the great cartoonist Carlos LaTuff, but worldwhile they are perhaps the two prime images of the U. S. Embargo of Cuba. Some people might ask, "How has this existed since 1962?" I don't know the answer to that question...except to say that it reminds me that my beloved Democracy is simply not perfect although it still remains the best form of government on the planet...and it reminds me that many Americans simply don't mind these images of their nation.
