Inching Closer Daily!!
This Reuters photo this weekend indicates that a U. S. war against Venezuela may be closer than many believe. An Iranian ship is now on the open ocean loaded with oil bound for Venezuela. It is defying many U. S. sanctions now imposed against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. As the ship left its port, Iran said that if U. S. "Pirates" interfered with its ship there would be "repercussions." On the heels of the ill-launched attack on Venezuela apparently led by three former U. S. Green Beret soldiers, two of them now among the captured prisoners, in this video shown around the world, you can hear one of the captured Americans explain that U.S.-backed opposition leader Juan Guaido was involved in the latest Bay of Pigs-type U.S. humiliation in Latin America:
Of course, Juan Guaido is Marco Rubio's chosen President of Venezuela. And, of course, any opposition leader in Latin America who claims he is VEHEMENTLY anti-Cuban is smart enough to repeatedly call Rubio in Little Havana or in the U. S. CONGRESS to obtain the wherewithal to mount their regime-changes -- uh, and no other questions asked!! While Rubio appears unconcerned about the cost of a Latin American war, it might be wise for Americans to at least ask about what Rubio is up to and why President Trump has anointed Rubio as the USA's Cuban and Latin American dictator. After all, Little Havana is NOT YET the capital of the USA and the USA is still a Democracy, RIGHT?
The recent attack on Venezuela as a prelude to the long-delayed Little Havana recapture of Cuba eerily resembles the April-1961 attack at the Bay of Pigs when the U. S. and Little Havana tried to recapture Cuba.
As a humiliated Democracy-loving American, permit me to turn over the latest U. S. humiliations of America that involve Little Havana to Jon Lee Anderson, perhaps the all-time most respected expert on US-Cuban relations. In The New Yorker this week, Jon Lee Anderson wrote another masterpiece entitled: "IN VENEZUELA, AMERICA ATTEMPTED TO STAGE A BAY OF PIGLETS!!!"
