Cuba's 65-year-old President Miguel Diaz-Canel on February 5th in 2026 told the United States and the world that he wants serious peace talks with the U. S. or the island is ready for war. Diaz-Canel was a baby in Santa Clara when the Cuban Revolution overthrew the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship on January 1st in 1959. As indicated above, President Diaz-Canel all of his life has worshipped Cuba's two greatest revolutionary heroes -- Fidel Castro and Jose Marti.
