One of the few people respected and loved in both Havana and Miami is the famed professor and diplomatt Carlos Alzugaray. He was born in Havana 82 years ago {1943} and still lives in Havana. And he still is widely asked about ongoing U.S.-Cuban Relations and he is still very active on Facebook and other top social media outlets.
On October 11th, 2025 this was one of Carlos Alzugaray's Facebook posts about the new and surprise winner of the Nobel Peace Prize Maria Corina Machado, the fierce US-backed opposition leader in Venezuela. She quickly "dedicated" the coveted prize to U. S. President Donald Trump whom much of the world believed deserved and would win even though the extreme liberal world hates Trump passionately.
