Today Miami Wants Help to Cuba STOPPED!!

 October 16th in 2025!!!!

Since 1959 when the Cuban Revolution ousted military dictator Batista, rich and politically powerful Cuban exiles in Little Havana in Miami-Florida have shaped U. S. policies regarding Cuba. Especially since the start of 2025 worldwide headlines have spotlighted the plights of everyday Cubans on the island, including drastic food shortages, island-wide power blackouts, etc. Today on October 16th in 2025, as usual, Miami Florida is very upset that another country is trying to...help Cuba.

The glaring headline and article shown above today -- October 16-2025 -- was in the Miami Herald. It was written by Andres Oppenheimer and included the photo of Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum who wants to help the Cuban people.
Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum is not a supporter of the Revolutionary leaders in Cuba but she firmly and bravely supports the everyday Cubans on the island. Yes, the Miami Herald article today correctly reports that President Sheinbaum is bravely shipping much-needed oil to Cuba, which irks Miami. It reflects the fact that too many Miami Cubans don't seem concerned about the constant despair of Cubans in Cuba...but most of the world does, including Claudia Ssheinbaum.
The best source for honest and up-to-date news on Latin America is Americas QUARTERLY and it reports that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has a remarkable "73% approval rating in Mexico." She was elected to a six-year term as Mexico's President last year. Now 66-years-old, she is a notable scientist. And she is a powerful friend of the Cuban people on the Caribbean's largest island.
