Born 54 years ago to Cuban parents in Miami, Marco Rubio has spent his entire adult life trying to overthrow the Cuban Revolutiion, which 66 years ago overthrew the brutal, thieving US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship. As a powerful politician in Miami and then from 2011 to 2025 in the U. S. Senate in Washington, Rubio has been in powerful positions to truly overthrow the Cuban Revolution but it has somehow managed to stay in power in Cuba from 1959 till 2025, almost seven decades. But since January 21st in 2025 Rubio has been President Donald Trump's ultra-powerful Secretary of State. Thus, since January 21st in 2025 there is no reason that Rubio won't finally be able to overthrow the Cuban Revolution in 2025, especially after Rubio made sure that the already drastically EMBARGOED island of Cuba has been put back on the very short list of nations that "Sponsor Terrorism." Cubans in Miami rejoice at the new designation but Cubans in Cuba blame it for the new shortages of food and for the new drastic island-wide power blackouts.
Indeed, Marco Rubio was "unanimously" {99-to-O} confirmed as the Secretary of State by the U. S. Senate, meaning all the Republicans and all the Democrats voted to confirm him. Now as Secretary of State, Rubio has the power to finally end the Cuban Revolution. Beyond question, since 1959 the Cubans in the Little Havana section of Miami have dictated the USA's Cuban policies...including the Bay of Pigs military attack in 1961, the EMBARGO that has existed since 1962, etc. But now, for the first time, Little Havana in Miami in 2025 has the Little Havana-born and Miami-born Marco Rubio has the Secretary of State for the entire United States.
For sure, Miami's Little Havana Cubans -- from former Batista minister Rafael Diaz-Balart and his sons Lincoln and Mario to Marco Rubio have essentially dictated the U. S. policy regarding Revolutionary Cuba from 1959 to 2025. Not only has Little Havana in Miami dictated the USA's Cuban policies since 1959, it also has dictated the Cuban narratives in the U. S. If you deny that, please see and read the headlines shown above by the BBC in London, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. They are saying that Marco Rubio has told some untruths even about his parents' "saga" from Cuba to Miami.
Indeed, long before he became the U. S. Secretary of State, it has been known that "Marco Rubio Is Cuba's Least Favorite Son" and "Marco Rubio is Hardly a Hero in Cuba. He Likes That." Now in 2025 Marco Rubio, as U. S. Secretary of State, holds the fate of the Cuban Revolution in his own hands. Cubans in Cuba understand that.
From 1952 to 2025 the Cuban Revolution shocked the world with its victory and its longevity. Now in 2025 the next major Worldwide Cuban Headine will very likely be made by U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio when he finally ends the Cuban Revolution.
Whether it is controlled by the Cuban Revolution or by a Foreign Power, geography says that Cuba will always be the largest island and arguably the most beautiful nation in the Caribbean. And, more importantly, it will always be a mere 90 miles from the United States. Geography, you see, is very stubborn...even if goverments are subject to drastic changes!!
But one thing is surely true, in June of 2025 the Spanish words "Viva Cuba Libre" say "LONG LIVE FREE CUBA" -- but those words are also now signed with a Broken Heart. Of course, U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio may be the only person who can mend it -- ONE WAY OR THE OTHER!!!!
