Only Anti-Cuba U.S. "News" Is Allowed

Anything Else Doesn't Fit The Narrative!!

From the Miami Herald, the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, etc., there are prime "journalists" assigned to write Cuba articles designed to make sure the USA maintains it draconian, genocidal, and lucrative policies against Cubans on the island. I assume the huge financial and political rewards have predicated this situation since 1959, the year the Cuban Revolution shocked the world by overthrowing the brutal and thieving U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship. One such journalist, in my opinion, is Mary O'Grady. She is a powerful member of the Editorial Board at the Wall Street Journal and writes its The Americas columns. She seems to believe that the Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba in the 1950s was the greatest government the Western Hemisphere has ever seen. And, conversely, she seems to believe that Revolutionary Cuba since 1959 has been and continues to be the worst nation the world has ever seen!! Thus Mary O'Grady's latest column is entitled:
"BASEBALL SAYS CUBA 'SI,'
GEORGIA 'NO.'"
The huge headline above references the fact that Major League Baseball in the U. S. moved its All Star Game this year out of Atlanta to Denver because of alleged voting restrictions in Georgia. So, the anti-Cuban zealot at the Wall Street Journal seized on that situation to vilify Cubans on the island. Of Course, the problem I have with that is the fact that never to anti-Cuban propagandists such as Mary O'Grady care about the opinions of everyday Cubans on the island, only about the extreme opinions of anti-Cuban dissidents. So, here is how Mary O'Grady concocted and constructed her first two paragraphs in her latest WSJ propaganda assault on Cubans on the island:
The Mary O'Grady words above are wonderfully & beautifully composed to begin her latest vilification of Cubans on the island. As always, she stresses only the opinions of extreme anti-Cuban zealots -- never the opinions of everyday Cubans on the island. For example, Mary O'Grady seizes on dissident movements such as "the humble San Isidro" without ever considering what the majority of everyday Cubans think about it. For example, do most everyday Cubans believe such anti-Cuban movements are financed by huge amounts of U. S. dollars? Cubans on the island now are ubiquitously expressing themselves on top Social Media internet forums, and it appears that in near unanimity they believe that self-serving foreign elements spawn and finance such dissonance and disorder on the island. And if that is not so, the omnipotent and rich forces in Miami, Newark, and Washington would have recaptured the island many, many decades ago.
So, if I may, all I ask of Mary Anastasia O'Grady, and other "journalists" who are obsessed with continually assaulting the masses of innocent Cubans on the island, is that they at least consider the opinions of Cubans on the island...not just the opinions of those who benefit so massively from assaulting innocent Cubans on the island.
Buttressing the Wall Street Journal/Mary O'Grady assault on Cubans on the island this week is a Yahoo News anti-Cuba propaganda piece today -- April 12th, 2021 -- written by Nestor Carbonell entitled: "CUBA REMAINS A THREAT"!!! Assuming Americans are stupid and thus vulnerable to propaganda, Nestor Carbonell seems to suggest that poor little EMBARGOED & BLOCKADED Cuba is a "threat" to attack and destroy the United States of America ANY MOMENT NOW!!
Of course, journalists such as Nestor Carbonell can use the pages of high-profile outlets such as the WSJ, Yahoo News, etc., to spew whatever anti-Cuban propaganda they want to inflict on their readers. Or Nestor Carbonell can go on programs such as Karen Pittman's Program to promote whatever anti-Cuban propaganda they choose. This lucrative wart has sullied Democracy without proper checks-&-balances for decades and apparently is too juicy to end.
But of course, if you happen to be a Cuban-American like Carlos Lazo your opinion about Cuba is almost never allowed in the world's richest and most powerful Democracy. Carlos Lazo is a professor in Seattle and he is so passionate about ending the U. S. genocide against totally innocent Cubans on the island that, accompanied by some of his students, he rides his bicycle the 3,000 miles from Seattle to Washington to beg the politicians "to end the Embargo on Cuba." Of course, Carlos Lazo's opinion doesn't count, even if the majority of Cuban-Americans agree with him, because a few Cuban-Americans and their sycophants apparently have made and are still making too much money off the Embargo that was first imposed in 1962.
Yes, Cuban-American professor Carlos Lazo and his students ride their bikes 3,000 miles from Seattle to Washington to beg politicians to end the genocidal Blockade against Cubans on the island that has existed for 6+ decades to appease and enrich a few benefactors. Somewhere along the way during the last 6+ decades, the question arises..."why hasn't the United States had a generation of Americans with the guts and decency to agree with CARLOS LAZO???"
As a decent Cuban-American, Carlos Lazo is embarrassed by the international Carlos LaTuff images depicted above. So am I. And so are others worldwide. It is astonishing there are some Americans and Cuban-Americans who are not!!
