The Morally Bankrupt Marco Rubio

BANKRUPTING US Morals Too!!
For over three decades John McAuliff has been one of the USA's greatest and most decent experts regarding US-Cuban relations. Mr. McAuliff's new article laments that the Trump-Rubio regime in Washington is getting away with taking advantage of the Coronavirus pandemic to further impose genocide on masses of innocent people in Cuba to appease Rubio's rich and powerful mentors in Little Havana, the Batistiano capital in Miami that evolved after the Cuban Revolution in 1959 overthrew the brutal U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba. Mr. McAuliff's new article is aptly entitled: "U.S. ATTACKS ON CUBA DURING COVID-19 IS MORALLY BANKRUPT." Almost every decent and knowledgeable person in the whole world totally agrees with John McAuliff. AND YET, 330 million citizens in Democratic America are finding that the U. S. democracy is simply not strong enough to stem what appears to be an encroaching takeover of Washington by Little Havana, a process that has been ongoing since 1959. HERE'S WHY:
In 1952 a few right-wing thugs in the Eisenhower administration aligned the U. S. democracy with the Mafia to support the brutal and thieving Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba. And not just low-level Mafia thugs but the VERY HIGHEST ECHELON OF THE MAFIA such as all-time kingpins like Lucky Luciano and Meyer Lansky, as shown above. At the time in 1952 the U. S. had been the imperialist force in Cuba since 1898's Spanish-American War, fought solely in Cuba, had easily fulfilled an American dream -- control OF CUBA!! Thus anytime beginning in 1898 the U. S. had the power to install a world-class Democracy in Cuba. So why did the U. S. in the 1950s prefer a brutal, thieving Mafia-fueled dictatorship such as depicted above???? Well, the answer is this: The criminals within the bowels of the U. S. government believed that in a Democracy the resources of Cuba would likely be largely used to benefit the majority of Cubans while in a powerful Dictatorship, via kickbacks, rich U. S. businessmen could partake in the wholesale rape and robbery of the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island nation!!! In fact, that same philosophy was also in effect and perfected by the U. S. government in many other nations where the U.S. also preferred and supported many brutal dictatorships -- Trujillo in the Dominican Republic, Somoza in Nicaragua, Videla in Argentina, the Shaw in Iran, etc., etc., and deep into the 1970s the U. S. {Nixon-Kissinger, etc.} overturned popular Democratic governments to install U.S.-friendly dictators -- the most flagrant regime-change coup coming in 1973 in Chile, killing the great duly-elected President Allende so he could be replaced, for 17 extremely bloody and murderous years, by the Nixon/Kissinger-beloved murderous Dictator Pinochet. But when powerful U. S. politicians responsible for supporting and sometimes installing murderous dictators in smaller nations were never HELD RESPONSIBLE for such insults to Democracy, the United States of America starting in 1952 drifted from decency into ALIGNING its internationally respected Democracy with the disgraceful Mafia in Cuba. Of course, to this day in 2020 Americans are saturated with potent lies about the image above depicting the U.S.-backed Mafia mayhem inflicted on Cuba in the 1950s so rich U. S. businessmen could partake in the spoils.
The U. S. support of the Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba in the 1950s was an anti-democracy departure that was also beginning to be a foreign policy that was spreading elsewhere, especially in the Caribbean and Latin America -- such as the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Iran, etc., etc. U. S. thugs who successfully embedded this imperialist theory into the U. S. democracy also led the U. S. into bloody wars in Korea and Vietnam that the Superpower U. S. lost because sending hundreds of thousands of U. S. soldiers, supported by the world's strongest Air Force, still couldn't defeat people fighting on their own soil against an invader from thousands of miles away. But it was the Cuban Revolution, when it overthrew the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia regime in January of 1959, that engraved itself deeply and uniquely into the fabric of American politics, culture, and all other facets of the United States existence. That's because, after a revolution in little Cuba defeated U.S.'s imperial expansion, even more astounding and everlasting was THE FACT that the U. S. democracy instantly permitted the overthrown Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba to re-establish itself on U. S. soil, still with the support of the Superpower's treasury and military. Thus, from 1959 till this today, as reflected by the video above, the new Batistiano capital in the heart of nearby Miami known at Little Havana has increasingly tightened its grip on the Republican Party, and with it America. The USA's political apparatus is based on a TWO-PARTY SYSTEM, Republicans and Democrats, and so with its grip on the Republican Party, what essentially is the BATISTIANO PARTY has evolved into a THIRD PARTY that has evolved from within the Republican Party. Of course, Americans are supposed to deny that cancerous blight on their Democracy but the same Americans are also the most culpable ones because they...we...have allowed it to happen. Thus, Americans are obliged to meekly accept propaganda that denies that the Mob...the Mafia...ruled Cuba "pre-Castro"...meaning before the Revolution. You see, since 1959 the Batistiano control of the Cuban narrative in the U. S. always starts with santilizing the brutal Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba BEFORE a long-shot revolution chased it to Miami, now the home of Little Havana...a Little Havana that has used the power and treasure of the U. S. to TRY to recapture Cuba!!!!! In that process, the likes of Marco Rubio, into a second rich generation of Little Havana Batistianos, have changed the U. S. democracy much more than they have changed Revolutionary Cuba.
With strong-arm control of the U. S. Cuban narrative since 1959, two generations of Little Havana Counter Revolutionary zealots have-also strong-armed a dangerous control of the Republican Party, which is truly a danger whenever Republicans are in the White House or are forces in the U. S. Congress. The graphic above illustrates Little Havana's grip on America's basic Cuban political structure, which now transcends into the basic fabric of America. In the heart of Little Havana, that's Senator Marco Rubio above shown speaking at the Manuel Artime Theater in Miami. It represents the transition -- Manuel Artime to Rubio -- that has enabled Little Havana to be indelibly embedded into the heart of the U. S. democracy. Manuel Artime was one of the leaders of the Bay of Pigs U.S.-Cuban exile military attack that in April of 1961 was designed to re-capture Cuba for the Batistianos. Although the Bay of Pigs turned out to be a historic humiliation for the United States and the Cuban exiles, people like Manuel Artime are to this day considered Superheroes not only in Miami but nationwide. And as a carefully groomed and hyper-financed force in the second generation of Counter Revolutionaries from Little Havana, Rubio is NOT to be challenged regardless of what he says about Batista's Cuba or Revolutionary Cuba whether he is speaking at the Manuel Artime theater in Miami or on any of the U. S. television programs that he wants to appear on.
In America's two-party political system, the Democratic U. S. President Barack Obama did his best to normalize relations with Cuba. Obama went to Cuba and told the Cuban people: "Cuba does not need to fear a threat from the United States." The words were both brave and sincere. But the Democratic President Obama was replaced by another Republican President.
After the Republican Donald Trump succeeded Obama as the U. S. President in 2017, as shown above, one of Trump's first presidential decisions was to totally turn the USA's Cuban policies back over to self-serving Little Havana Counter Revolutionary zealots such as Marco Rubio and Mario Diaz-Balart. Rubio's entire financial and political careers have been based on helping a few rich and powerful Little Havana Cubans to re-capture Cuba and, in doing so, to pulverize the masses of Cubans in Cuba. Mario Diaz-Balart, of course, is a part of the ultra-rich and omnipotent Diaz-Balart family and Mario's father Rafael Diaz-Balart was a key Minister in the Batista dictatorship before, starting in January-1959, becoming the rich and powerful creator of the first anti-Castro paramilitary unit on U. S. soil. When extremely biased Little Havana extremists like Marco & Mario are allowed to make the economic, military, and genocidal decisions related to Cuba, the U. S. democracy is as much a victim as the Cuban people on the island, I think.
Indeed, "Rubio applauds Trump's move to roll back Cuba Policy." The truth is, Rubio and his ilk orchestrated that "roll back" to benefit the MONEY-obsessed and POLITICALLY-obsessed Cubans in Little Havana USA. When a Little Havana lightweight like Marco Rubio can make genocidal and {as John McAuliff said} "morally bankrupt" decisions to harm masses of Cubans, the United States is diminished more than Cuba. {I am a passionate and self-avowed Democracy-loving American who believes that anyone who "morally bankrupts America" should be held responsible and accountable, and not benefit economically and politically from committing cowardice genocide against masses of totally innocent people in a much weaker nation!!}.
And in April of 2020that is where we are in the United States..."MORALLY BANKRUPT"...as another Republican president, Trump, anoints another Little Havana lightweight, Rubio, as the USA's new U. S. Cuban dictator in Little Havana USA, but not in...Havana.

COVID-19 Weekend In Cuba

Romance Is Not Forgotten!!
While Americans are supposed to get all of their Cuban narratives and Cuban policies dictated to them by Batistano-zealots in the Little Havana section of Miami, a superb journalist named Ruaridh Nicoll this weekend filed an interesting, and honest article, about Cubans on the island coping with things like the Coronavirus and the genocide being supposedly imposed on them by President Trump on behalf of the rich and powerful Little Havana leaders. Mr. Nicoll can report honestly about Cuba because he works for two great London-based print-and-digital giants -- The Observer/The Guardian. So, this weekend in Havana Mr. Nicoll observed and wrote about how Cubans on the island TO THIS DAY still are uniquely passionate about...romance!!
The John Moore/AP photo above was used by Ruaridh Nicoll to illustrate his article entitled: "TAKE ME TO YOUR LADA: Cuba's Passion!" The little Lada cars from Russia are usually ubiquitous on the streets of Havana. It seems...Mr. Nicoll observed that the girl driving the red Lada rendezvoused with the boy who was driving the black Lada. The girl and boy, being hot Cubans, then frantically initiated their union with a passionate kiss. It didn't seem to Ruaridh Nicoll that they were obsessed with either COVID-19 or TRUMP at the moment.
So, thanks to the London-based The Observer for giving the world this honest glimpse of real life in Cuba even during the Coronavirus and amidst the genocide aimed at the island by the Trump administration in Washington.
The article this weekend by Ruaridh Nicoll in the London-based The Observer/The Guardian resonated with me because, as a Democracy-loving American, I am supposed to accept and not complain that in the USA CUBA POLICY is only made by self-serving Little Havana zealots like Sen. Marco Rubio. In other words, Rubio explains to Trump, and to Americans via the media, that Title 3/Helms Burton GENOCIDE against Cubans on the island is necessary to save America...and Rubio claims that all Cubans on the island yearn to get rich in Miami...like him. Of course, IF ANY OF THAT WAS OR IS TRUE, the Batistianos in Little Havana would have recaptured Cuba LONG BEFORE RUBIO WAS BORN IN MIAMI and even before Rubio was so self-servingly mentored by the first generation of Batistianos who fled to Miami.

        Uh...IT BEGS THIS QUESTON: If Rubio and his ilk can get away with imposing genocide against innocent Cubans on the island, and controlling America's narratives and policies regarding Cuba, how long will it be before Little Havana USA replaces Washington as America's capital?? {UH...JUST ASKING!!}

Cuba vs. Trump and COVID-19

Both Bring Death!!
As of today -- Friday, April 17th, 2020 -- the island of Cuba reports 923 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus. More and more, even Americans are being told that the genocidal Trump/Little Havana administrations in Washington and Miami are gradually increasing the death totals in Cuba.
For over two decades Anthony DePalma was the top Cuban expert at the New York Times. Today Mr. DePalma returned to write the major Editorial in the NY Times. It is entitled: "TRUMP PANDEMIC TACTICS HURT CUBANS." In assessing how President Trump and the Counter Revolutionary Cuban extremists who dictate America's Cuban policies are taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to further assault everyday Cubans on the island, Mr. DePalma said: "Cuba's fragile economy, already suffering {from Trump's and Little Havana's genocidal blockade}, was dealth a sharper blow when all the tourist hotels were forced to close, putting more than 120,000 people out of work on the island." As one of America's all-time keenest observers of the failure to recapture Cuba for the exiles from the Batista-Mafia dictators who were chased to the U. S. way back in January of 1959, Anthony DePalma's New York Times Editorial today is a keen perspective on how everyday Americans permit self-serving politicians like Trump, controlled by a few Cuban extremists, get away with committing genocide against masses of Cubans who happen to not to be in Miami, Newark, or the U. S. Congress.
Some of the best books about Cuba and its tumultuous relationship with the United States have been written by Anthony DePalma, and he has a brand new one!!
This is Anthony DePalma's next must-read book about the lives of Cubans on the island today after they...and their parents and grandparents...have faced over six decades of being targeted unmercifully by the world's nearby Superpower acting on behalf of two generations of exiles from the brutal Batista regime. This next DePalma book will be published by Penguin in a little more than a month -- on May 26th, 2020.
Anthony DePalma, of course, wrote the classic book "THE MAN WHO INVENTED FIDEL."
Of course, the legendary NY Times journalist Herbert Matthews was the man who invented Fidel Castro. Appalled by the brutalily that the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship was meting out to everyday Cuba, Matthews wrote front-page stories in the powerful NY Times about what he saw first-hand in Cuba starting in 1952. This historic photo was taken in 1957 when Matthews had his monumental interview with Fidel in the Sierra Mountains of far eastern Cuba. This photo and interview, when they were published in the NY Times, told the world that Fidel was "still alive and still LEADING THE REBEL ARMY." That was important because dictator Batista in Havana and his stooges in Washington were telling the world that Fidel was dead and that the rebel army "fighting weakly" far from Havana would be totally wiped out in a few days. Fidel, as shown above, told Matthews that not only was he still alive but his rebels would soon begin capturing cities on the eastern end of Cuba "and then continue all the way to the west, till we capture Havana."
After all of Batista's predictions in 1957 were debunked and all of Fidel's predictions in 1957 came true, the photo above was taken in 1960. That was the second year of Fidel's long reign as the leader of Revolutionary Cuba. In 1960 this photo shows Fidel pinning a medal on the lapel of the appreciative Herbert L. Matthews, the legendary New York Times journalist that Anthony DePalma named "The Man Who Invented Fidel." Mr. Matthews is famed to this day for telling NY Times readers about the Batista-Mafia brutalities in the 1950s prior to Fidel's revolutionary victory.
Later, Anthony DePalma followed Herbert L. Matthews's footsteps as a legendary New York Times journalist. And today -- May 17th, 2020 -- Anthony DePalma wrote a scathing Editorial in the New York Times about President Trump's USA brutality against everyday Cubans on the island.
AND BY THE WAY:
In addition to Anthony DePalma's new book about Cuba that will be published on May 26th, 2020, the book shown above entitled "YOUNG FIDEL" by Harvard historian Jonathan M. Hansen will be published by Simon & Schuster on June 30th, 2020.
The London-based The Guardian says that both Anthony DePalma's new book and Jonathan Hansen's new book are both important because "Fidel still rules Cuba in 2020 although he died at age 90 in 2016."
And The Guardian is correct.
AND ALSO...BY THE WAY:
Behind the Coronavirus mask is Raul Castro. He is shown Friday afternoon, April 17-2020 chairing a meeting about the COVID-19 pandemic. Raul Castro turns 89 on June 3rd. He is sitting at the top of the photo shown below.

US Journalists Promote Cuban Genocide

Justifying 1950's Batista-Mafia Dictatorship!!
One of the highest-profile U. S. journalists promoting genocide against everyday Cubans during the Coronavirus pandemic is Mac Margolis. He is the Caribbean and Latin American expert at Bloomberg News. Margolis thinks that the Trump administration's current genocide against masses of Cubans on the island should be increased to take advantage of the vulnerable island's battle against the COVID-19 crisis. Bloomberg News is a powerful U. S. media source owned by Mike Bloomberg, whose personal wealth exceeds $60 billion. Apparently echoing the sentiments of his boss, Mac Margolis writes: "By allowing Havana to exploit the virus, currency will just empower repression at home." As a promoter of the greatness of the Batista-Mafia repression back in the 1950's, Mac Margolis is one of the biggest liars in the U. S. media in 2020.
Appalled by what she considers Mac Margolis's genocidal attack on Cuba's mothers and their children, journalist-author Belen Fernandez wrote what today -- April 16th, 2020 -- is probably the most indelible and most-read international article related to Cuba. In contrast to the cruel and gutless Mr. Margolis, Ms. Fernandez's article is entitled: "Cuba Under Media Attack For Sending Doctors, Not Bomb's, To Help COVID-19 Victims." In her article, Ms. Fernandez blocked off Mac Margolis's genocidal comment, which reminded her that rich U. S. businessmen partook in the U.S.-backed Batista-MAFIA's brutal rape and robbery of Cuba in the 1950's prior to the 1959 victory of the Cuban Revolution. Belen Fernandez, the author of "THE IMPERIAL MESSENGER," wrote in today's article: "As Coronavirus ravages the world, Cuba has exhibited disproportionate heroism..."
While greedy imperialists like Mac Margolis cruelly lament that Cuba might attain a few pesos by sending hundreds of excess, well-trained doctors to help other devastated COVID-10 nations, Belen Fernandez used the photo above to report that small nations like Jamaica and Barbados as well as rich, large nations like Italy and Spain have begged for, and received, Cuban doctors like the ones above during this year's unique pandemic.
The compassionate American journalist, Belen Fernandez, points out that Revolutionary Cuba, as it has done since 1959, provide free health care, free education through college, and free food if needed for all the Cuban children on the island today. Ms. Fernandez says that the most amazing thing about the Cuban Revolution was not that it defeated the U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in 1959. Ms. Fernandez says that the most AMAZING THING about the Cuban Revolution is the fact that it has survived the 6-decades-old ALL-OUT EFFORT of the U. S. and the Little Havana Mafia to recapture the island. While Mac Margolis at Bloomberg News in 2020 will tell Americans how well the children of the Mafiosi and the U. S. businessmen in Cuba in the 1950's were so wonderfully treated, Belen Fernandez reminds us today that the children of everyday Cubans in Batista's Cuba were not only just neglected but cruelly assaulted...as depicted by the following 4 photos.
The four above photos from Batista's Cuba in the 1950s spawned the Cuban Revolution. "CESEN LOS ASESINATORS DE NUESTROS HIJOS. MADRES CUBANAS" translates to: "STOP THE MURDERS OF OUR CHILDREN. CUBAN MOTHERS." The Cuban woman wearing the short white jacket in the photo above was the mother of the murdered Little Willie Soler. Mothers like these fueled the Cuban Revolution, even more than the dire poverty that the Batista-Mafia dictatorship imposed on the island's peasant children.
This photo shows a Cuban child being treated at what TODAY is at Cuba's WILLIAM SOLER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL that is named for the murdered Little Willie Soler.
That smile above belongs to Dr. Susett Gonzalez. She saves children's lives today at William Soler Children's Hospital in Havana.
Recently, Dr. Susett Gonzalez and her husband Rudy became the parents of their first child, a boy named Roman.
This baby boy, Roman, is better treated today in Cuba than the non-rich babies born in Batista's Cuba were treated. Having been to Cuba, I sincerely believe that explains the latest phenomenon about the Cuban Revolution, which is: How in the hell it has survived for 6+ decades!!!!
Meanwhile, when rich and cruel U. S. journalists -- such as the rich and cruel Mac Margolis at Bloomberg News -- suggest that the rich and cruel Trump administration, on behalf of a few rich and cruel Cubans in Little Havana USA, advocate genocide as a tool to recapture Cuba, I hope that someday enough brave American mothers will object. Till then, I hope there are enough Cuban mothers, like Dr. Susett Gonzalez at William Soler Children's Hospital, who will continue to OBJECT!!
Welcome to Dr. Gonzalez's Cuba.
