Cuba Will Survive the Winter of 2021-22!!!

 

    Contrary to what Americans are told everyday, most Cubans on the island strongly support their President, Miguel Diaz-Canel. And they know him well because, before he became President in 2018, he was the island's very popular Education Minister. He is skilled at using state television news channels and his strolls out on the streets to communicate with the people. Above, that is President Diaz-Canel speaking on national TV today -- December 8th-2021. An optimistic person, he predicted again today that Cuba and the Revolution will survive the U. S. Blockade, the COVID Pandemic, and the "foreign-funded dissidents who thrive among us."

   Regarding the "bloqueo" today, Diaz-Canel said, "After the Bay of Pigs attack, assassinations, and deadly terror attacks from Miami and the U. S. had failed to dislodge our Revolution, I was a baby when the U. S. tried to starve us with its Embargo in 1962. In the last five years the Trump and Biden administrations have expanded the Embargo into a genocidal Blockade...along with highly funded coups led by selected dissidents. But because of great Cubans such as those watching me today, we have and we will survive everything and anything that Miami and Washington throws at us."

     Today, as usual, President Diaz-Canel spent a long time talking about "nino nuestro"/"our children" and the "vacuna"/"vaccines" that he said are "miraculously saving their lives, as the mothers who are listening to me now well know. We owe that to the doctors, nurses, and scientists who are diligently administering those vaccines and, as always, we owe thanks to Fidel for creating the scientific institutions that are still producing life-saving cancer, diabetic, COVID, and other medicines."

       Also today President Diaz-Canel told his large television audience in Cuba about the "extreme importance of Mariel to our economic survival. Despite being denial by the U. S., the Mariel Port 30 miles from Havana is by far the best deep-water port in the Caribbean and Western Hemisphere. The Economic Zone at Mariel continues to have thriving companies, especially by countries like Vietnam that is a major friend and trading partner of the U. S., especially since Vietnam won the Vietnam War against the U. S. and then became a great and unified sovereign nation."

     Today again President Diaz-Canel mentioned the fact that "as you have all seen and tolerated for the past five years...despite the blockade and then the pandemic...we have massively renovated important buildings and built some new ones. The huge cranes are a part of our landscape but these improvements are vital and will continue. The Vietnamese, Spanish, Canadian, Mexican and other companies that share in such improvements are friends of the Cuban people, and we must thank them."

    Also today, President Diaz-Canel had glowing updates regarding the vital 2021 Winter Tourism Season in Cuba. He said: "We have the best beaches in the world, surely in the Western Hemisphere. With our homegrown vaccines curbing the pandemic crisis, our cities, beaches, and hotels are welcoming tourists from nations in the region and elsewhere, from Canada to Russia to Spain to China to England, Argentina to Vietnam, and so forth." With Americans flocking to Florida's and Mexico's and non-Cuban Caribbean beaches this winter, Diaz-Canel is correct to say that Cuba has the best beaches in the world and "surely in the Western Hemisphere." International tourist experts have rated Cuba's Varadero the Best Beach in the World and in 2021 TripAdvisor rates Cuba's Cayo Santa Maria as the 2nd Best Beach in the World. Uh...no Florida beaches are amassing such accolades!!!

    The IBEROJET Airline has not only just scheduled regular flights to Cuba, as shown above it has just opened a new office in Havana. Two of the world's top Hotel & Resort chains -- Iberostar and Melia, both from Spain -- have dozens of 5-star Hotels & Resorts in Cuba. And both of those giants have conducted international ad campaigns prior to Cuba's 2021-22 Winter Tourist Season, as some of photos above reveal.

    The Mexican MAGNI Airline has scheduled regular flights to Cuba from Mexico City and Cancun. Of course, Cancun is Mexico's famed tourist magnet.

     Three airlines from Canada have booked flights to Cuba because of the long-standing love by Canadian tourists for Cuban beaches.

      December-2021 is the first month that Cuba has fully opened its airports to tourism in the past two years and already 33 different airlines in December are flying to Cuba. As you can see above, that includes flights from Tampa to Havana by Southwest Airline, flights by Jet Blue from Fort Lauderdale to Havana, flights by American Airline from Miami to Havana, etc., etc.

    England's very popular Ambassador Cruise Line has just announced its booking schedule that includes the Capital of Cuba -- Havana!! England is the USA's best friend and ally. Mexico is the huge nation on the USA's southern border. Canada is the huge nation on the USA's northern border. Being brave and INDEPENDENT nations...England, Mexico, and Canada don't bow before the USA's genocidal Blockade of Cuba.

    The #One Beach in the Western Hemisphere and the #Two Beach in the Whole World, according to TripAdvisor, is the beach shown above -- CAYO SANTA MARIA. It is located on the north-central coast of Cuba...just below Florida. Please understand...Florida does not have a beach remotely rated nearly as highly as Cuban beaches such as CAYO SANTA MARIA!!!

    Except for the greedy U.S. blockade, the largest and most beautiful island-nation in the Caribbean -- Cuba -- would also be the most prosperous island-nation in the region. Back in 1952 both the U. S. and the Mafia understood that promise and exploited it ruthlessly from 1952 until the Cuban Revolution intervened on January 1, 1959. In the 1950s while supporting Batista's Cuba, the U. S. and the Mafia also supported other ruthless Caribbean dictatorships such as Trujillo's Dominican Republic. Since 1959 the U. S. and Cuban exiles have tried to starve, annihilate, and recapture Cuba...but failed. Meanwhile, to this day all other nations in the Caribbean except Cuba have enjoyed tourist and other financial support from the U. S...including, just to the southeast of Cuba, the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola. For example, 365-days of every year everyone of the 30 Major League baseball teams in the U. S. operate rich and powerful year-around baseball parks, stadiums, and practice fields in the Dominican Republic to groom baseball players...resulting in billions of easy dollars every year for the DR government. In the last two weeks in November & December of 2021 in the Bahamas, just north of Cuba, there have been extremely lucrative U. S. PGA golf tournaments and extremely lucrative U. S. college basketball tournaments in the Bahamas. If Cuba, a sports and scenic mecca, was remotely treated the way the U. S. treats the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and other nations in the Caribbean, beyond doubt Cuba would be the most prosperous nation in the Caribbean. Of course, while the quest to recapture Cuba continues unabated, Americans in December of 2021 are routinely and purposely propagandized not to believe such truths.

NOT ALL CUBANS Hate Cuba!!!

 

      Today - - on December 6th-2021 -- this photo was posted on several worldwide Social Media forums. It shows seven Cuban men who love Cuba posing in front of one of the island's most famous statues of independence fighter Jose Marti. All Cubans in Cuba and in Miami know at least two of these seven men -- Gerardo Hernandez on the far right and Elian Gonzalez on the left-front.

    This photo today -- on December 6th-2021 -- shows Gerardo Hernandez in the light shirt and Elian Gonzalez in the red shirt. The woman and baby are Elian's beloved Wife & Baby. While, perhaps, Americans are not supposed to know or care about the two photos shown above today, they are up-to-date chronicles of the historic-U.S.-Cuba SAGA that has roiled the Western Hemisphere since 1492, and especially since 1959 when the Cuban Revolution booted the Batistianos, the Mafia, and the United States off the island...to Miami. Gerardo and Elian, for sure, had very unhappy stays in the U. S. -- one serving many years of a life-sentence in a U. S. federal prison in California and the other, at 6-years-old, as a frightened little boy in a Miami closet. In other words, both Gerardo and Elian remain today as historic and topical people in the everlasting U.S.-Cuba saga. Their current happiness in Cuba reflect, perhaps, why Revolutionary Cuba triumphed and has survived for all these many decades since 1959. Of course, Americans since 1959 have been programmed not to believe or understand the two photos from Cuba today -- December 6th-2021!!

      And, yes -- like his dear friend Elian Gonzalez -- Gerardo Hernandez has fathered a large and happy family with his wife Ariana in Cuba since President Obama's détente and courage allowed Gerardo to end his life sentence in a federal prison in California and return to Cuba.

 But...Is Another COUP STEWING??

{What's Brewing in Miami & Madrid???

     On December 3rd-2021 the Havana Harbor & Skyline looked calm. And an Havana mother & daughter calmly took a stroll in a leafy section of the island's capital city.

      Meanwhile outside of Cuba the headlines screamed such reminders as "The Cuban Government Hasn't Won Yet." That means the Protests/Coups back in July and November that had been wildly heralded/promoted in the U. S. were easily squashed by Cuba but more are surely in planning stages...AS WE SPEAK!!!

    The "THE CUBAN GOVERNMENT HASN'T WON YET" warning was written on Dec. 2nd-2021  by Michael J. Bustamante, who is an associate professor of history at the University of Miami. It is also a reminder that Miami, Florida, and the United States would be better off if a moderate person in Miami would sometimes be allowed to express opinions about Cuban issues...not  just extremists.

    Back in July and again in November in this year of 2021 we were loudly told that 39-year-old Super-dissident Yunior Garcia would be the new leader of Cuba by now, but on November 17th he flew off to Madrid in defeat...but not deterred, of course.

    Some of us Americans who were alive back in April of 1961 were also told that the historic, expensive, and massive air-land-&-sea U.S./Little Havana BAY OF PIGS military attack on little Revolutionary Cuba would "be over in a few hours." Actually, it was over within "72 hours" with poor little Revolutionary being the resounding victor!!!

MY POINT IS THIS:

     As of December 3rd-2021 the Revolutionary Flag is still flying over Cuba just as it has done since January 1, 1959. Yet, for the rest of December-2021 and beyond we will be told that...the good Cubans in Miami and in Congress will recapture Cuba from those bad Cubans in Cuba within the next few days!!! Uh, STAY TUNED!!!

    The image above that was on national television today in Cuba -- December 2nd-2021 -- shows that Revolutionary Cuba is still alive and celebrating this very day 65 DAYS AGO when Fidel Castro and 81 other rebels arrived back in Cuba FROM MEXICO on the Yacht named Gramma to resume a do-or-die revolution to defeat the U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship. 

        Also today -- on December 2nd-2021, exactly 65 years after the old Yacht that Fidel Castro bought in Mexico -- the United States and the latest generation of Batistianos in Miami and in Congress are trying desperately to re-capture Cuba, even as they steadily get richer and more powerful from just doing so!! Blistering military and terrorist attacks have failed to derail the Cuban Revolution and neither has history's longest and cruelest Embargo/Blockade ever imposed on a small nation by a much-larger nation.

     In the USA's money-crazed/two-Party political system, Republican presidents such as Donald Trump have always been obsessed, economically & politically, with recapturing Cuba everyday since 1959. But the only other Party, the Democratic Party under President Joe Biden, since January of 2021 has also been obsessed, economically & politically, with recapturing Cuba!!

    As an example of the USA's obsession to recapture Cuba in 2021, notice the Tweet above on the last day of November-2021 by Biden's top official, Secretary of State Antony Blinken. On a day -- Nov. 30-2021 -- some people might have believed that Blinken might have been concerned with key threats to the U. S. such as China threatening U.S. ally Taiwan, Russia threatening U. S. ally Ukraine, the U.S.'s southern border apparently controlled by Mexican cartels making fortunes taking foreigners into Texas and Arizona, etc., etc. But, as with the Tweet above, it appears Blinken thinks the U.S.'s biggest threat in 2021 is in not overthrowing Cuba's government.

    Beginning in March of 2020 the Trump administration in Washington tried to take full advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic in Cuba to finally overthrow the pugnacious Revolution, but the internationally pertinent image by Brazilian Carlos LaTuff revealed to the world that Trump's belief that the greatly tightened EMBARGO coupled with COVID-19 would surely doom Cuba's Revolution, but that hasn't happened either. Yet, now in December of 2021 the Biden obsession to recapture Cuba seems to be equal to Trump's!!!

    As the two historic quotes above from Thomas Jefferson in 1817 and 1823 reveal, the United States has been obsessed with OWNING Cuba starting way back when the GREAT FOUNDING FATHERS were still shaping their adventure in creating a Democracy.

     It was 1898 when the United States greedily decided it was powerful enough to easily capture Cuba from Spain, and thus concocting the SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR was a no-brainer.

       And make no mistake about it, no one can deny that excessive greed was the USA's reason for hungrily concocting the 1898 SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR to capture Cuba.

       And make no mistake about it, from April 21-1898 -- the day the short & easy SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR began -- until this very day, December 2nd-2021 -- excessive greed has fueled the USA's policies regarding Cuba, especially since January 1-1959 when the Cuban Revolution booted the U.S.-backed Batista dictatorship out of Havana to Little Havana in Miami.

    The causes of the Spanish-American War and other aspects of U. S. relations with Cuba have always centered around the USA's everlasting hunger to dominate the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island; and that especially explains why the U. S. permitted brutality and poverty for everyday Cubans even as the Batistianos, the Mafia kingpins, and rich U. S. busninessmen were raping and robbing the plush island blind!!

     It was both stupid & greedy for the U. S. to allow everyday children and women on the island to be without any form of decent schooling or healthcare in Batista's Cuba in the 1950s, while U. S. companies were partaking wildly in the lucrative spoils.

     And it was both stupid and greedy when the U. S. didn't try to do something about scenes like the one above and instead left it to the Cuban Revolution to stop it. In an attempt to warn Cuban mothers not to object what was happening in Batista's Cuba in the 1950s, the Batista goons routinely murdered children to send morbid messages to make the mothers comply. But Cuban mothers like Little Willie Soler's mother, in the light jacket above, bravely conducted anti-Batista marches like the one above. The lack of schooling, lack of healthcare, and the murders of children led to the revolution that ended such Batista terror on January 1, 1959.

    In Havana on December 2nd-2021 this is the William Soler Children's Hospital, which is named for Little Willie Soler.

     This is Dr. Susett Gonzalez, who daily saves the lives of Cuban children at the William Soler Children's Hospital in Havana today.

    A month ago Dr. Susett Gonzalez's own son Roman had his 2nd birthday. Susett is a great person, a great children's doctor, and a great mother. As a Democracy-loving American, I am ashamed that the U. S. media is unwilling or unable to mention the greatness of Cubans on the island such as Susett while making sure to tell Americans how great Batista's Cuba was and how great Miami Cubans are as they orchestrate, decade-to-decade-to-decade-ATER-decade the U. S. Embargo/Blockade against Cubans like Susett and Roman while the Miami Cubans grow richer and powerful on nearby U. S. soil. {Disclosure: I know Dr. Susett Gonzalez}.

   Perhaps the greatest enemy harming decent Cubans like Dr. Susett Gonzalez and her son Roman is the shocking decline of the mainstream U. S. media, as epitomized by unchecked and well-funded Counter Revolutionary journalists such as Cuba-born Fabiola Santiago at the Miami Herald; Carmen Sesin at NBC News, etc., etc. 

     While Cuba involves only a microcosm of the mainstream U. S. media's propaganda, getting away with Cuban propaganda pioneered other areas of propaganda for the U. S. media.

        As illustrated above by Cuban propaganda in the last few days by the Miami Herald and NBC News, the mainstream media seems obsessed with promoting Cuban dissidents and the emergence of only Counter Revolutionaries such as Juan Gonzalez in charge of Cuban policies within the bowels of the U. S. government. Juan Gonzalez is President Biden's Chief National Security Advisor for the Western Hemisphere...seemingly because Cuba is in the Western Hemisphere and because Biden was/is obliged to appoint only anti-Cuban zealots in areas they can do the most harm to Cubans on the island and the most good to Cubans in Miami.

 

     It is grossly injurious to both innocent Cubans and to America's democracy, I believe, that only extreme anti-Cuban officials like Senator Marco Rubio and the USA's Western Hemisphere Chief Juan Gonzalez are allowed to dictate America's Cuban policies...and I am totally sure that most Cubans even in Miami don't APPOVE OF GENOCIDE AGAINST CUBAN CHILDREN ON THE ISLAND -- such as Dr. Susett Gonzalez's son Roman -- REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH MONEY THE PROCESS MEANS FOR BENEFACTORS.

     On the world stage, especially since Columbus in 1492 proclaimed Cuba the most beautiful land he had ever seen, and especially since the United States in 1898 concocted the Spanish-American War, Cuba has been forced to punch far above its weight and size to avoid the globe's most hungry powers. In the process, I believe it is has changed the United States more than it has changed Cuba itself.
