Fidel STILL Rules Cuba

A U. S. Denied Fact!!
Just about the only basic fact that Americans have been exposed to regarding the life of Fidel Castro is the fact he died of old age at 90 on November 25th, 2016. Just days prior to the New Year of 2020, another basic fact that Americans are not supposed to know is this: Fidel Castro still rules Cuba and, moreover, that will be so until or IF the Little Havana-portion of the United States government recaptures Cuba.
Since Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution on Jan. 1-1959 chased the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictators from Havana to their new headquarters of Little Havana in nearby Miami, the Cuban narrative in the U. S. has been dictated by anti-Castro Cubans. Starting in January of 1959, extreme Mafia money accrued in Cuba {gambling, prostitution, drugs, etc.} from 1952 till 1959, buffered by historic Batista/Mafia brutality, easily overwhelmed the economy and the politics of Miami. Soon, still supported by U. S. businessmen and other sycophants who had profited from Batista's Cuba, Little Havana's Cubans eventually used the support of the extremely sycophantic Bush dynasty to extend their power from Miami to Washington, carving out niches in the U. S. Congress and, of course, in all Republican White Houses. Beginning in 1959, but especially since 1989 when the Bush machine first put Havana-born Castro haters like Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in the U. S. Congress, America's two-party political system -- Republican and Democratic -- has been a two-party system that includes a sub-Little Havana government.
And Thus, a fact of American life is the undeniable, but ruthlessly denied, truth that Calle 8 {8th Street} in Miami has a ruthless and lucrative grip on the overall United States government, including the U. S. Treasury especially but, when it comes to Cuba and Cuban allies, also the awesome threat of the U. S. military might.
For example, another staunch Cuban ally in Latin America -- Evo Morales, the President of Bolivia for 13 years -- has recently been overthrown by a coup that he blames on "anti-Cuban forces in Calle 8 controlling Trump." Many respected Latin American experts agree with him about the coup and about "8th Street" in Miami. Also, Evo Morales is able to resonate in many international circles with the quotation above. That's because the history of Latin America is replete with the USA's penchant for supporting brutal right-wing dictatorships such as...Batista in Cuba, Trujillo in the Dominican Republic, Somoso in Nicaragua, Pinochet in Chile, etc., etc. And now that another Republican administration -- Trump's -- rules the White House, Latin American governments are aware that the USA is currently gloating about right-wing anti-Cuban governments now in Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, etc., while at the same time the USA is obviously engaged in funding and promoting ongoing coups/regime changes in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and elsewhere. Evo Morales and other players in Latin America who are both anti-U. S. and pro-U.S. believe that "Calle 8", in its fervent attempt to finally recapture Cuba while Trump is still President, is orchestrating the coups/regime changes in Latin America in nations -- such as Bolivia -- that recently have had governments that were staunch allies of Cuba.
Although few will admit it, every journalist and politician in Miami and Washington believes that Trump's anointment of Calle 8's Rubio relates to Trump's belief that Calle 8 Cubans will deliver to Trump Florida's crucial 29 Electoral Votes in his 2020 re-election bid. Meanwhile, Rubio and a vicious array of well-known anti-Cuba Cubans he has been able to appoint to important very sensitive anti-Cuban positions {such as Mauricio Claver-Carone}, and they are responsible for using the U. S. government to unleash starvation-genocidal legalities against everyday Cubans on the island...along being expected  to be responsible with the aforementioned coups and regime changes now rampant among Cuban allies in Latin America. The reason a Calle 8 lightweight like Rubio is able to dictate such atrocities is because of Trump, for sure, but also BECAUSE both American citizens and the mainstream U. S. media are afraid of the rich and powerful Calle 8 denizens that have ruled Miami since 1959 while also being able to dictate Cuban policies to Washington since the 1980s. {In the 1980s Bush dynasty-aligned Counter Revolutionary Cubans like Jorge Mas Canosa started becoming Billionaires in Miami and Bush dynasty-aligned Havana-born Counter Revolutionary Cubans such as Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, followed shortly by the Diaz-Balart brothers, started being elected from Calle 8 to the U. S. Congress}.
The recent coup in Bolivia epitomizes how Calle 8's quest to recapture Cuba is helping to reshape the political alliances in Latin American nations such as Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, etc., although Argentina has just elected a strong pro-Cuban government to buck that trend.
Meanwhile, as this photo shows, Cubans on the island are now wired to the Internet and they are abundantly aware of what is happening to their island in the Trump-Rubio Era in the United States, three brutal years after which the previous 8 years of the Obama presidency had treated them with respect and decency. Cubans on the island are now as obsessed with Social Media interactions as Americans are and they are aware of Calle 8's influence on Trump but they are also aware that most Cubans and Cuban-Americans in the Miami area support them and want normal Obama-like relations with them. But Calle 8 makes sure that Trump and Rubio ignore what most Cuban-Americans think about U.S.-Cuban relations.
On Jan. 20-2017 when the Republican Trump replaced the Democrat Obama as President of the United States meant that relations with Cuba changed instantly from total decency to sheer genocide. And that says a helluva lot more about the two-party political system in the USA than it says about Cuba. It also should remind everyone that in the 1950s the Republican Party in the U. S. aligned America's democracy with top Mafia kingpins like Lucky Luciano to rape and rob Cuba at will, till the Cuban Revolution intervened in January of 1959. And since January of 1959, the Republican Party and the U. S. remnants of the Batista-Mafia dictators in Cuba have tried mightily to recapture Cuba -- now using blackouts, starvation, and other genocidal tactics against everyday Cubans on the island as well as Latin American coups and regime-changes in pro-Cuban nations that are designed to lead to the BIGGEST PRIZE OF ALL, the recapture of Cuba. So, the difference of Republican Trump replacing the Democrat Obama as President of the U. S. is the difference between genocide and decency to Cubans on the island.
INCREDIBLY, since 1959 one street on U. S. soil -- Calle 8 in the Little Havana section of Miami -- has, during all Republican administrations, enabled Counter Revolutionary Cubans to use the treasury and the awesome might of the United States to enrich themselves while also attacking and punishing Cubans on the island while also crafting legal Helms-Burton-like laws. In many ways, many of those who fled the corrupt Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba in 1959 were startled to discover even more lucrative CORRUPTION on American soil.
Although never remotely held accountable even by Democrats, one self-serving  Republican U. S. dynasty -- the Bush dynasty -- was all Cuba-born/anti Castro Calle 8 exiles needed to strike it ultra-rich and ultra-powerful in America.
For example, the Fanjul brothers were from a rich family in Cuba but they never became multi-billionaires until after the Cuban Revolution made them unchecked giants in Miami. In America's two-party system, one Fanjul brother takes care of Democrats and the other one takes care of Republicans. The one in charge of Democrats famously placed a historic long phone call to President Clinton that was actually answered even though at the time Clinton was engaged in sex with an intern at the White House. You see, Cuban multi-billionaires like the Fanjul brothers seem to understand that the USA's two-party system is more corrupt and far-more lucrative than even the one-party system Batista and the Mafia had in Cuba, with U. S. support, from 1952 till 1959.
Yes, Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution changed history in 1959 and it ended up changing the United States even more it changed Cuba itself. And, yes, somehow Fidel Castro managed to live 90 years before he died of old age in Havana.
Of course, Fidel Castro holds many records, including surviving 638 {or so} "assassination attempts by the CIA" according to America's Guinness World Record tabulations.
And today in the Age of Trump, most Cubans on the island "Love Fidel" and hate Trump and Rubio as they yearn for a decent U. S. president such as Obama who was not dictated to by Calle 8 in Miami. As visitors to Cuba who intermingle with everyday Cubans know, and as those who monitor what Cubans say on their now ubiquitous Social Media chats and posts, Fidel Castro still rules Cuba more than three years since his death, and that will remain so until or IF Calle 8 regains control of the pugnacious island.

France Defies US Genocide in Cuba

While U.S. Citizens Allow It To Go On!!
While most of the rest of the world's citizens recognize that the U. S. is imposing genocide against innocent Cubans on the island, this generation of Americans care only about themselves and their own children, certainly not Cuban children. The genocide against Cuba was sealed when Rubio, the Diaz-Balart brothers, Claver-Carone, and other self-servingly devious extremists persuaded President Trump to activate Title 3 of the infamous Batistiano-written Helms-Burton Act. But even the Batistiano/Little Havana-aligned George W. Bush presidency refused to activate Title 3 because even Bush knew its cruelty  meant genocide against everyday Cubans. As Rubio, the Diaz-Balarts brothers, Claver-Carone, etc., expected, Title 3's activation by the United States of America in 2019 has created power outages and food shortages in Cuba. While Americans are unconcerned and while the mainstream propaganda-obsessed media in the U. S. is continuing its 3-year effort to impeach Trump, the photo above was transmitted around the world today -- Dec. 12, 2019 -- by Yahoo News, the AFP-Agency France-Presse news agency that is in 151 countries, and by the global reach of Getty Images. Cuban Yamil Lage, headquartered in Havana, took this photo and he works for the above noted international giants, so his photos are seen by hundreds of million people each and every day. This image explains to the world one way the US/Batistiano genocide against Cuba is affecting innocent Cubans. These two Cuban farmers 60 miles west of Havana in Los Palacios got their oxen hitched up early this morning because they had no fuel for their tractor. Alfredo Reynoso told Yahoo News that "...given the country's fuel restrictions, we had to turn to this activity." The total blockade imposed by Trump and the Batistianos against Cuba has tried to block all imports and exports to-and-from the island, including oil and food that the Cubans need. That constitutes genocide generated by a powerful nation against a small nation.
This Yamil Lage photo was also transmitted around the world today by Yahoo News, Agency France-Presse, Getty Images, and even outlets like AP that latched onto it. It, too, reflects the unchecked US-Batistiano genocide against innocent Cubans. Recently Cuba, because of US-imposed fuel shortages, had to stop running 47 new Chinese-built buses in rural routes like this one. Instead of riding on the free buses, this Cuban family is forced to use this one-horse, two-wheel rig. Rubio, the Diaz-Balart brothers, and Claver-Carone obviously love punishing Cubans on the island like this family but they also massively punish the Cuban-Americans in the Miami area by restricting their visits to fly to Cuba to see close family members and to try to take them gifts.
Although Americans weren't supposed to take note of it, the photo above also went around the world after Title 3 of Helms-Burton began ravishing everyday Cubans on the island courtesy of the Batistiano/Little Havana-dictated Trump administration. Cubans have survived more than six decades of the embargo administered by the U. S. because they are famously known for helping each other. In this photo the elderly Cuban lady on the left is handing one of last eggs to her neighbor in the next apartment. While this photo might please Rubio, the Diaz-Balart brothers, Claver-Carone, etc., it should ashame all decent Americans and Cuban-Americans.
It is well known that Trump and Rubio despise each other but Trump is perfectly willing to sacrifice everyday Cubans on the island because he thinks Little Havana Cubans like Rubio will help him win Florida's crucial 29 Electoral Votes heading into Trump's 2020 re-election. Of course, during his 2016 election campaign, Trump dismissed Rubio as "Little Marco"...among other things.
To appease the likes of the Diaz-Balarts in 1962 to the likes of Rubio in 2019, the U. S. embargo of Cuba has helped a minority of U. S. Cubans become politically powerful millionaires and billionaires while punishing Cubans on the island, but it has yet to yield the overthrow of Revolutionary Cuba that Little Havana wants the superpower to give them.
The Helms-Burton Act was made a legal U. S. law in 1996 after it was written by rich lawyers working for and with extremist Counter Revolutionary Cubans such as Bush-anointed billionaire Jorge Mas Canosa and Lincoln Diaz-Balart, a Havana-born U. S. congressman from Miami who was the son of a powerful former Minister of the Batista dictatorship. But the activation this year by the Batistiano-dictated Trump administration of Title 3 is why the genocide-X skull was added to Helms-Burton. Of course, Title 3 also has massively and grossly added yet another batch of Miami millionaires because it allows for far-reaching lawsuits for whatever reasons Little Havana lawyers want to bring before Florida courts.
Of course, the genocidal Title III of Helms-Burton can never be "SUSPENDED" as long as a handful of vicious Little Havana zealots keep their lucrative grips on all Republican White Houses as well as the United States Congress.
This handshake shows one way -- along with urban food-gardens and utilizing sun as well as wind-aided energy -- Cuba is trying to cope with the Trump-Rubio blockade. This photo shows Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Investments Rodrigo Malmierca and France's Foreign Minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne after agreeing to a productive trade agreement.
This photo a few days ago shows Malmierca representing Cuba and Lemoyne representing France after they finalized a counter-balance to the U. S. genocide against the Cuban people.
The French Foreign Minister, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, said: "Cuba is particularly attractive for French companies, which are already involved in important hotel and air transportation properties on the island. Cuba has an educated and healthy population and energetic people. The island has sustainable and long-standing tourism possibilities...the best in the region, for sure, except for the restrictions illegally imposed by the United States. Other nations that bow to U. S. military and economic power to hurt Cuba should follow the leads of France and the other 27 European nations." The 28-nation EU is now Cuba's #3 trading partner and indications are that ranking will improve. Lemoyne said that the EU wants to take advantage of strong nations like Brazil "which have joined the U. S. blockade of Cuba after previous governments in Brazil, and now coup-changed Bolivia, recently were strong Cuban allies. Apart from the U. S. blockade, Cuba probably has more positive possibilities than any small nation I am aware of."
Except for the plush and stolen U. S. Guantanamo Bay where the U. S. has an infamous and unwanted Naval Base, all of the provinces of Cuba have been sovereign and independent since 1959...and counting. Prior to the Cuban Revolution's triumph over the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship in 1959, Cuba had been dominated by Spain and the United States for five centuries. Pugnaciously, Cubans appear to prefer their sovereignty over foreign domination.

Cuba Tries To Blunt US Blockade

Buenos Aires Defies Donald Trump!!
Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel {in the center above in the red tie} has had a productive today -- Monday, December 9th, 2019 -- in Buenos Aires. About 50 Argentine business leaders invited the Cuban leader to discuss how they can help the island survive the extraordinary effort of the "Trump administration in Washington from strangling and isolating Cuba with a cruel embargo that is illegal by international standards."
In Buenos Aires today President Diaz-Canel is accompanied by Cuba's top Ministers who are involved in trying to secure foreign investments, and Argentina has obliged.
This roundtable discussion in Buenos Aires today is all about how Argentine businesses can invest in Cuba. This is drastically important in the face of recent developments in which the U. S. has succeeded in shifting former pro-Cuban governments in Latin America in Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, and elsewhere to tilt strongly to pro-USA right-wing anti-Cuban leaders. Argentina is an important example of Cuba's success in trying to combat that trend. In his official statement in Buenos Aires today, Cuban President Diaz-Canel said: "Argentina is a dearing country showing its independence in defying the U. S. blockade against the Cuban people that some business people here today have told me that they consider Washington's attempts to impose genocide against everyday people in my island country." Argentina is currently the leading fourth trading partner with Cuba from Latin America and the Caribbean, and the ninth internationally. Those rankings are expected to improve after today's discussions.

Trump's Latin American Coups

Trump's Gifts to Little Havana!!

After being exiled to Mexico after being ousted as Bolivia's President by a vicious right-wing coup last month, Evo Morales has arrived in Cuba {above}. His close associates say Morales needs medical treatment from Cuban doctors that had treated him in Bolivia {before all Cubans were booted from Bolivia after the new U.S.-backed right-wing regime replaced Morales}. After 13 years as Bolivia's pro-Cuban president, Morales is still beloved by his country's poor indigenous Indians who are a majority of the population and who have repeatedly elected him as their leader, including back in October in an election that the United States {meaning Little Havana/Miami} said was fraudulent as did the Organization of American States, which typically bends to all of the USA's anti-Cuban policies. But even some unbiased countries such as Canada also opposed Morales for his refusing to not abide by Bolivia's term-limit provisions for presidents. Yet, most of Latin American observers -- including influential media sources such as the Miami-based Progreso Weekly, Americas Quarterly, etc. -- have cringed about the USA's role in the Bolivian "COUP" that revives memories of bloody U.S.-backed Latin American coups that even historically include the death of decent democratically elected President Salvador Allende in Chile in 1973 to install the murderous but U.S.-friendly dictator Augusto Pinochet for 17 extremely bloody years. Almost all of Latin America's leaders and experts believe that the Trump administration's involvement in the Bolivian coup last month is a Trump gift to a few of the anti-Cuban zealots in Miami and the U. S. Congress. Moreover, Latin American sources envision the Trump-aligned anti-Cuban right-wingers to particularly continue promoting right-wing regime-changes in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Chile...while mostly, of course, striving for the overthrow of the Cuban Revolution.
This map shows major "U.S.-BACKED COUP ATTEMPTS IN LATIN AMERICA between 1948-2019" and this, of course, does not include the recent successful U.S.-backed coup in Bolivia. It is well known that the Trump administration's main interest in backing ongoing coup attempts in pro-Cuban nations like Bolivia, Venezuela, and Nicaragua relate to Little Havana-Miami's fervent quest to finally  regain control of Cuba while Trump is the President of the United States. Cuba's massive influence in Latin America is based on its pugnacious success in fighting off U. S. dominance since 1959. The coup last month that ousted Evo Morales in Bolivia is especially being hailed in Little Havana. And now that Evo Morales has left his exile in Mexico to land in Cuba it is...FOR SURE...prompting Counter Revolutionary zealots like Marco Rubio, the Balarts, and Mauricio Claver-Carone to exacerbate their grip on Trump to eviscerate the Cuban Revolution ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Meanwhile...while painting Cuba as a pariah to appease Little Havana, Trump hopes to win Florida's crucial 29 Electoral Votes needed for his 2020 re-election. Yet, all the while, Trump powerfully supports, empowers, coddles, and tolerates leaders in dangerous nations that, of course, never defeated a brutal U.S.-backed dictatorship and chased it  to its new sanctuary on U. S. soil.
Meanwhile, as the great Editorialist Dave Granlund suggests, Trump deals and twiddles with powerful threats like Russia, which has a nuclear arsenal equal to the U. S.
And also...when the citizens of America sit on their pusillanimous asses and allow Trump to promote genocide against totally innocent Cubans on the island to appease a few viciously vindictive Cubans in Miami who are paranoid about recapturing Cuba AS PER the 1950's U.S.-backed Batista/Mafia dictatorship, perhaps the two-party United States democracy in the closing days of 2019 is even in more overall trouble than Revolutionary Cuba's one-party system. Surely, non-elite Americans, like me, reluctantly now believe that both of the USA's political parties are money-crazed and corrupt. And that corruption has been best exposed not by Ukraine but by little Cuba with yet another Republican president totally aligned with a few rich and powerful extremist Cubans residing in the Little Havana section of Miami and in Congress and, of course, in all Republican White Houses. Complicating and exacerbating that non-democratic situation is the fact that the Democratic Party, which has been totally obsessed with impeaching Trump for the past three years, is simply too afraid of Little Havana extremists that its leaders will not accuse Trump of genocide against Cubans on the island  even as the ubiquitous Democratic impeachment obsessions spend massive Congressional dollars and time on searching for far lesser Trumpian crimes. But, of course, the USA's Mafia-aligned crimes regarding Cuba long predated the presidency of Trump as the historic images below document.
This photo in 1956 shows that the United States continued to send plane-loads and ship-loads of U. S. trained-and-funded soldiers back to Cuba to protect the brutal Batista-Mafia dictatorship because it allowed rich U. S. businessmen to also partake in the wholesale robbery of the island. But, as shown before, the extreme brutality of the Batista forces provided massive motivation for the everyday population to risk their lives to support the underdog anti-Batista rebels, and that support proved decisive. While many historians and even venues like the famed "Godfather" movies admitted such facts, to this day the still Batistiano-aligned U. S. government refuses to do the same.
Batista closed the University of Havana and his thugs gruesomely murdered student leaders like Jose Echevarria as Batista gunmen hunted them down in the streets or where they lived. The dead bodies, like Jose's above, were left in the streets as warnings to others not to oppose the U.S.-backed Batista dictatorship. Famously, teachers such as 23-year-old Frank Pais and Frank's 17-year-old brother Jesus Pais received the same fate as Jose Echevarria. Today neither the U. S. government nor the U. S. media will tell Americans about Batista victims such as Jose Echevarria and Frank Pais because to do so would mitigate against today's continuing U. S. policies designed to regain control of Cuba. But Americans, of course, today can Goggle the names underlined above to ascertain what Batista's U.S.-backed Cuba was all about in the 1950s.
Or Google the name of Clodomira Acosta who was captured, unmercifully tortured, and then murdered by Batista goons because she supported students such as Jose Echevarria.
Or Google the name of Lidia Doce who was captured by Batista goons, unmercifully tortured, and murdered because she supported university leaders like Jose Echevarria.
The names of Lidia Doce and Clodomira Acosta can be goggled today because they are still remembered among the countless victims of Batista's Cuba in the 1950s.
A drawing of Lidia and Clodimira.
Today you also can Google the name of Esteban Ventura. He is famed as one of Batista's most notorious assassins.
Today you can also Google the name of Luis Posada Carriles. Within days of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in January of 1959, the U. S. government put young men like Posada on salaries and sent to the then-secretive Army of the Americas at Fort Benning to train them to recapture Cuba. After graduating as a Lieutenant {left above} to attack Cuba but, famously, Posada also openly admitted being decades of being a anti-Cuban terrorist tied allegedly to such things as a deadly hotel bombing in a Havana hotel, the bombing of a civilian Cuban airplane that killed all 73 on board {"Cubana Flight 455"}, etc. Of course, Posada at age 90 died of old age on U. S. soil still hailed a hero in Little Havana and massively protected by Miami members of the U. S. Congress and the other Cubans who held most of the top political positions in Miami.
Meanwhile, from the 1950s until THIS VERY DAY the FEU, the FEDERATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS in Cuba, has remained a volatile and upfront source of massive support for the Cuban Revolution, just as martyred student leaders such as Jose Echevarria were back in the 1950s.
And meanwhile...since 1959 Americans have been propagandized to believe that Mother Teresa-types, not top Mafia kingpins like Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky, Santo Trafficante Jr., and Fulgencio Batista, "ran" pre-Castro Cuba.
