Let Caribbeans Die to Hurt Cuba

No Pushback From U.S. Citizens!!
This weekend -- July 18-19, 2020 -- the most important international article related to Cuba used the photo above to illustrate how a handful of self-serving members of the U. S. Congress can so easily feather their own economic and political nests by pushing their own bills designed to starve and deprive Cubans on the island and also starve and deprive people in other countries who refuse to bow to Congress's legalized genocide against Cuban families.
The article that honestly deals with this rather pertinent issue is being sent around the world this weekend by Global Americans, a respected media force that focuses on the Americas. It is entitled: "New Cuba Bill Puts A Strain On U.S.-Caribbean Relations." Americans, of course, are not supposed to dial up the article online because it explains, in July of 2020, how a handful of self-serving extremist Counter Revolutionary politicians can massively benefit by proposing genocidal bills in Congress designed to starve Cuban families on the island while also assaulting and intimidating families in other countries who don't bow to their extremely cruel Cuban plans. For the record, here is the gist of what the article explains:
"A new bill proposed in the United States Senate titled 'Cut Profits to the Cuban Regime Act of 2020' has put Caribbean states in the line of fire as lawmakers look to advance U. S. policy toward Cuba during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The bill, introduced by Republican Senators Rick Scott, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz, would require the U. S. State Department to release the list of countries that contract with Cuba for their medical mission program, and ensures that such contracts are considered in the annual U. S. Trafficking in Persons rankings. In short, the bill would effectively stifle the revenue received by Cuba from its medical missions and punish recipient countries to appease President Donald Trump's key South Florida base as the 2020 U. S. presidential election gets closer. While the bill focuses on Cuba, its contents have extraterritorial and harmful effects on other countries in the Caribbean who, without Cuba's medical support, are unlikely to have tackled the COVID-19 pandemic as swiftly as they have. The Caribbean's economic dependency on tourism is not unknown to these U. S. Senators who routinely influence U. S. policy on Latin America and the Caribbean {as a part of executing their Cuban whims} ."
The three Republican U. S. Senators who put the latest self-serving but genocidal bill in Congress are two Counter Revolutionary Cuban-Americans Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio along with Rich Scott, who is 100% owned by and dictated to by the extremist Cuban-Americans who have ruled Rubio's Little Havana stronghold in Miami through two generations since the 1959 triumph of the Cuban Revolution. As usual in the U. S. Congress, such bills backed by money and intimidation often routinely get passed...and use the old collutions such as, "Hey, you support our bill to destroy Cuba and we'll support your Bridge to Nowhere bill." The extreme financial and political windfalls for benefactors like Cruz, Rubio, and Scott shames Congress, America, and Democracy but it has been absolutely going on in Washington for decades, especially since the late 1980s when Little Havana began getting a grip around the throats of politicians such as the Bush dynasty. In the 1950's greedy Republican politicians got away with aligning themselves with the top echelons of the Mafia, including Super-kingpin Lucky Luciano, to support the brutal and thieving Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba. In January of 1959 when the Cuban Revolution stunned the world by chasing the Batistiano-Mafiosi regime from Havana to Miami, the emergence of Little Havana on U. S. soil essentially replicated what Batista and Luciano had in Havana prior to the Revolution, and in both instances the once-proud U. S. Democracy has simply not been strong enough to counteract it.
Mafia rule of Havana in the 1950s, and then...
The progression of the four images directly above conclude with an unfortunate handshake that shamefully chronicles a terrible blight on the U. S. democracy in its vulnerable two-party political system. Each Republican U. S. president since 1959 has been obligated to bow to Little Havana extremists who control Miami and, presumably, control Florida's crucial 29 Electoral Votes that can predicate presidential elections. Thus, since 2017 Republican President Donald Trump must bow to Little Havana congressional zealots Mario Diaz-Balart, whose father was a key Minister in the infamous Batista dictatorship, and Marco Rubio, who hates Trump and called Trump vile names during the 2016 presidential primaries. A U. S. democracy that has one of its two political parties bowing meekly and totally to Little Havana zealots is not so unlike the one-party Batista government that the United States supported in Cuba in the 1950s so rich U. S. businessmen could also partake in the wholesale rape and robbery of the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island.
All Republican presidents -- including Nixon, Reagan, Bush #1, and Bush #2 -- have benefited massively, both politically and economically, from their tight alignments with the rich and powerful Cuban extremists in Miami and Newark.
But only the current Trump presidency activated Title III of Helms-Burton and that happened in May of 2019. Even President George W. Bush, who owed his two-term presidency to the Little Havana extremists, refused to activate Title III because even Bush considered Title III to be too genocidal against masses of Cuban families on the island. But Trump, without a whimper from the U. S. media nor the U. S. people, activated Title III.
From Day One in the White House starting in January of 2017 President Trump began expanding the U. S. Embargo, in place since 1962, into a genocidal Blockade. But in May of 2019 Trump, totally capitulating to Little Havana extremists, undeniably began committing genocide against masses of Cubans on the island with the activation of Title III...which, of course, also includes  more provisions for selected Cubans in the U. S. to keep getting richer and richer!! But greed is not as important as "genocidio" when the U. S. democracy permits only a handful of the most extremist U. S. Cubans and their sycophants to dictate self-serving laws to the United States Congress.
When Cruz, Rubio, and Scott can author a bill in the U. S. Senate entitled "Cut Profits to the Cuban Regime Act of 2020" and neither the mainstream U. S. media nor the U. S. people have the guts to define nor to deter such genocide and greed, then the U. S. government has essentially evolved into what Batista and Luciano had in Cuba prior to the Revolution.

AND BY THE WAY........
Today -- July 18, 2020 -- is International Mandela Day.
And Nelson Mandela's greatest friend was Fidel Castro. Of Mandela, Fidel said: "He was a full, deep and radical revolutionary, who with great stoicism endured 27 years of solitary apartheid confinement. I did not stop admiring his honesty, his modesty and his enormous merit."
The two icons, Nelson Mandela and Fidel Castro, co-authored a book together entitled "HOW FAR WE SLAVES HAVE COME!" Mandela died at age 95 on December 5, 2013, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Fidel died at age 90 in Havana, Cuba, on November 25, 2016.

Cuba Speaks of a Post-Covid Future

And A Post-Trump Future!!
Throughout today -- July 16th, 2020 -- the state-wide media in Cuba, as well as Social Media forums -- reminded the people that tonight's Council of Ministers session would reveal how the government plans to continue the island's ongoing recovery from the Coronavirus and then get past the Trump-imposed Blockade "of our people." Actually, the meeting began around 5:30 so it could be shown live on the prime and popular 6:00 PM Roundtable television news program. As shown above, the leader standing upfront at the podium was President Miguel Diaz-Canel and sitting close to him at the long desk was the First Vice President of the Republic Salvador Valdes Mesa. The other major speakers included the Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca and the Vice Prime Minister Alejandro Gil Fernandez. The important meeting was broadcast live on all national radio and television stations on the island as well as on the Roundtable YouTube Channels, and on all the Cubadebate Pages of Facebook.
Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel, as shown above keynoting the important session, punctuated it with these exact words: "Developing the economy means offering greater welfare to the people. In doing that we must do more of our direct producing of products and services by individual citizens and groups of private entrepreneurs supported by the government that needs to give better incentivizing for businesses and providers to have the means to better care for their families. The worst risk for us would be in not changing, in not transforming." And also from that podium tonight President Diaz-Canel suggested that, whether the U. S. had a Republican or Democratic political leader, one like Trump or one like the decent Obama, "Cuba must better reciprocate commerce and other relations with our friends, and not be bogged down by reacting so much to our enemy...and not hide behind the excuses of blaming all of our problems on the fact that a superpowered nation close to us is our unfathomable and endless impediment. Even if we wanted to change our location, we can't do it. So, always Miami and its Little Havana will be just to our north. We can be wary of that but not be obsessed with that because we must be obsessed with Havana and the rest of our proud homeland. We will always be Cuba and even if envious people in an enemy nation name some of their land Little Cuba after Cuba, we will still be Cuba. We must maintain what we have won, such as our independence, but we must make Cuba better...and stronger, and richer. And that we can do...and must do...for Cuba."

New Airline To Launch Flights To Cuba

Canada Bucks U. S. Blockade!!
A brand-new Canadian airline, OWG, is launching with its inaugural flights destined for Cuba. OWG stands for "Off We Go" and its first flights are set for November 1st of this year.
The OWG airline starts with three Boeing 737-400 aircraft. OWG Airlines is in a partnership with the Canadian aircraft company Hola Sun Holidays. The two companies obviously believe that the Blockade imposed by the U. S. to deter all commerce with the Caribbean's largest and, arguably,  also its most beautiful island, creates opportunities for other nations to exploit the void for other visitors and tourists.
Many experts consider Cristiano Ronaldo the world's all-time greatest soccer player. In fact, Forbes used this headline: "Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes First Footballer To Reach Billionaire Status." He plays for Juventus F. C. in Turin, Italy, and also captains his native Portuguese national team. Organizations in both Portugal and Italy, along with groups in other nations from Spain to South Africa to Qatar, are promoting Cuban doctors and nurses for the Nobel Peace Prize for their herculean devotions in helping many nations battle the Coronavirus pandemic. Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a special message for the Cuban doctors working in Turin: "FOR THE BLESSED CUBAN DOCTORS OF TURIN." Along with the message, Cristiano Ronaldo sent Juventus jerseys bearing his famed number "7" for all the Cuban doctors and nurses who are helping the people in Turin.
These are some of the Cuban doctors in Turin, Italy, showing off their proud Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys.
When South Africa, which has beloved Cuba and been beholden to Cuba since Nelson Mandela's triumph against apartheid, joined the clamor for Cuba's renowned doctors to help against the COVID-19 pandemic, U. S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, at the behest of a few zealots in Miami and in Congress, assailed South Africa for its solidarity with Cuba and claimed requesting the Cuban doctors will help Cuba's economy and defy the U. S. blockade.
Meanwhile, the Cuban doctors have helped dozens of nations fight the Coronavirus and now many organizations in those countries are nominating the Cuban doctors for the Nobel Peace Prize even as one superpower nation, the USA, uses its leverage to assail them...along with all Cubans on the island.
Since 1962 the U. S. has imposed a tight Embargo against Cuba and that has been expanded by the current Trump regime into a total genocidal Blockade of the island.
Yet, remarkably, since 1959 there have been enough Cubans on the island determined to protect the sovereignty provided by the victory of the Cuban Revolution against the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorshipSo, with a mere 110-days-or-so left in Trump's first 4-year term as president, this is where we stand: A little island nation still fighting off the world's superpower, an ongoing and historic event that has been going on for seven decades. So far, it appears that the U. S. DEMOCRACY is the primary casualty.

Title III's Genocide Continues

But So Far It's No Piggy-Bank!!
The Southern District of Florida Miami Division has handed down the first-ever ruling in a Helms-Burton/Title III lawsuit. It ruled for Carnival Cruise Lines and against the Cuban-American in Florida who sued Carnival because it used a dock in Cuba. There remain dozens of mammoth claims against companies who have had business related to Cuba, but so far none have resulted in the anticipated millions or billions of dollars the claimants are clamoring for.
Since 1996 the infamous Helms-Burton Act, considered the product of extreme Cuban Counter Revolutionaries Jorge Mas Canosa and Lincoln Diaz-Balart, has purportedly legalized two gigantic purposes: {1} To enrich certain Cuban-Americans in the Little Havana section of Miami; and {2} to severely punish and deprive Cubans on the island every day since 1996.
The Helms-Burton Act had a provision called Title III that all Presidents prior to Donald Trump had refused to activate, and for a damn good reason -- it legalized a full Blockade of Cuba that many decent people consider legal genocide imposed by a powerful nation against a much smaller nation. And, of course, Title III proposed a huge financial reward for U. S. Cubans who would sue companies that did business with Cuba, with the lawsuits to be adjudicated in the Southern District Of Florida Miami Division. All Republican administrations, even the George W. Bush presidency that condoned making acolyte Cubans like Canosa billionaires and many others multi-millionaires, would not allow Title III to be activated because even Bush believed it would permit genocide against totally innocent Cuban families on the island.
But the photo above revealed that extreme Counter Revolutionary Little Havana benefactors finally had a Republican president in Donald Trump that would activate Title III and do whatever else they wanted as a means to finally regain control of Havana for the denizens in Little Havana. This photo shows the FOUR MEN ABOVE the day right after they had just had a meeting in the White House with Trump. Then, knowing they had him in total control, a bank of microphones already awaited them outside the White House to perpetrate a news conference extolling their victory. Of course, Marco Rubio began the orations about their triumph as Mario Diaz-Balart, Ron DeSantis, and Rick Scott -- all of whom also own their political fortunes in Florida to fully supporting Little Havana's extreme whims -- stood stone-faced.
The U. S. Economic Embargo against Cuba has been in force continually since 1962, certainly the LONGEST and CRUELEST in all-time history. After the air-land-and-sea military attack at the Bay of Pigs in 1961 as well as numerous terrorist attacks and a record number of assassination attempts failed to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba, the Embargo in 1962 was intended, according to de-classified U. S. documents, to starve, deprive, and make miserable the Cubans on the island to induce them to rise up and overthrow their government. So, for 6+ decades now the Embargo has failed, except to  continually punish Cubans on the island and to create the image of the red-eyed, claw-fingered United States of America...as depicted above.
In America's two-party political system, Democratic president Barack Obama, prior to the 2016 election of Republican Donald Trump, did all he could to end the Embargo and normalize relations with Cuba...as most Americans, most Cuban-Americans, and most nations around the world desire. In Obama's last year in office, 2016, he would not allow the United States to vote in the UN to support the insidious Embargo at the United Nations...so the worldwide vote in the UN against the Embargo was 191-to-0.
When a decent President of the United States, supported by the entire world, pleaded for the Embargo against Cuba to be lifted, it revealed that the U. S. democracy was not strong enough to stand up to a handful of Counter Revolutionary zealots in Little Havana and in the U. S. Congress.
And so in mid-July of 2020 the U. S., with a Little Havana-controlled Republican president in the White House, the U. S. democracy is not capable of dealing with even the genocidal aspects of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.
So, don't challenge Pinocchio!!!
