Cubans Suffer as Americans Tighten the EMBARGO

The great British free-lance journalist Ed Augustin is an excellent and unbiased reporter and his articles from Cuba are often published by NBC News and other U. S. sources.
This article this month in Sept.-2022, written by Ed Augustin, explains how Cubans on the island are suffering from blackouts that, in a season of high heat and the tightened U. S. EMBARGO, are greatly exacerbating such ills as Cubans having their precious food supply quickly spoiling.
Being a rare honest Western journalist reporting from Cuba, Ed Augustin is able to tell the world that everyday Cubans are direly suffering all over the island in September of 2022, with their problems being cruelly "compounded by tightened U. S. sanctions" that the world knows as the U. S. EMBARGO.
Of course, Americans for over six decades have been programmed to NOT GIVE A DAMN how much Cubans such as Miriam Cortes suffer mightily every day of their lives because of the endless U. S. Embargo against Cuba. But at least in the above article Ed Augustin and NBC News tell Americans...for what it is worth...how much their gutless silence is making Miriam Cortes suffer. "Hey, we are the good guys and Miriam is a bad guy, SO LET HER SUFFER!!"
Of course, for over six decades Americans have been programmed to support the U. S. Embargo of Cuba WHILE ALSO NOT BEING A BIT ASHAMED OF THIS IMAGE IT MAKES AROUND THE WORLD OF THEIR UNITED STATES. You know..."We are the good guys and Miriam Cortes is a bad guy, so let's make her suffer!!! HaHaHa."

WHY U. S. Has Cuba on Its Terrorism List

AND WHY THE U. S. BLOCKADES CUBA!!

In this second week of September-2022 the two photos above have flashed around the world because they were taken by Yamil Lage who works in Cuba for the powerful Paris-based AFP News Agency. Among the top news sources that featured the twin images above were the USA's Associated Press and NBC News.
Above is the blazing headline and photo that the USA's AP and NBC News and others have spread around the United States this week. Of course, Americans are not supposed to pay any attention to such articles because it relates to Cuba's denunciation of both the U. S. Blockade of the island and it also explains why the U. S. has Cuba on its very, very short list of the nation's that the U. S. claim are "SPONSORS OF TERRORISM." And, of course, the U. S. says Cuba is on the list because the little nation just below Florida  continually commits vicious terror acts against the Superpower United States. That, of course, is a vicious but very convenient lie although, as the headline says, it is "illegitimate and immoral." Cuba claims that the true reason the U. S. has Cuba on its Terror List is: "BECAUSE IT MAKES IT MUCH EASIER FOR POLITICALLY POWERFUL CUBANS IN MIAMI TO SUE CUBA IN FLORIDA COURTROOMS FOR ANYTHING THEY WANT TO SUE CUBA FOR, with the U. S. GOVERNMENT BACKING UP SUCH LAWSUITS.
And of course, either Cuba or the U. S. is lying about why the U. S. has Cuba on its Terror List. Most honest historians and journalists believe, on this particular issue, Cuba is the nation that is not lying. At least, in the article this week by the Associated Press and NBC News Americans were provided Cuba's side of the "terrorism" story in which little Cuba claims that, since 1959, the superpower U. S. routinely doesn't mind committing vicious terror acts against Cuba...such as the terrorist bomb that blew the civilian Cuban Flight 455 into the ocean, killing all 72 souls aboard, including two dozens teenage Cuban athletes. Meanwhile, Cuba admits that since 1959 it is direly concerned with defending itself but "does not PROVOKE THE U. S. FURTHER BY COMMITTING TERRORISM."
Normally in the U. S. media regarding US-Cuba issues only the opinions of Miami counter revolutionary Cubans are featured. But, as shown above, in the above AP-NBC News this week, at least a chief Cuban spokesman was allowed to present Cuba's side.
The Cuban official charged with presenting Cuba's side of the U.S.-Cuban conundrum is Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, a man who is actually respected on both sides of the Florida Straits. That's why, thanks to President Obama's overtures to normalize relations with Cuba, Carlos was expected to be Cuba's Ambassador in Washington till President Trump, to appease Miami with promises to finally overthrow Revolutionary Cuba, quickly ended all of Obama's decency towards the Cuban people in Cuba. And, yes, Carlos was with 12 of his staff in the Cuban embassy in Washington when they ducked in terror when they were being threatened as 30 or so high-powered rifle shots pounded their embassy in Washington. In the above article this second week in September-2022, and whenever afforded other forums, Carlos has stressed the need for "Cuba and the United States to be friendly neighbors, for the good majority of people in each country." When invited to speak before business groups in Miami and Tampa, Carlos made these pertinent points: "I speak for Cuba when I say that I have great respect and admiration for the United States democracy. Many area companies eagerly desire trade with Cuba but it seems they are stymied by a few who do not want that to happen. That is why Americans, in this great democracy, are not told why the Embargo since 1962 has caused so much suffering for everyday Cuban families, and Americans deserve to know the reason for the Embargo as stated by the 1962 act itself. It was...and is...to induce Cubans on the island to overthrow their own government after the 1961 Bay of Pigs military attack and then many terrorist acts, including assassination attempts, didn't overthrow it. Americans are also not told such things as why Cuba is on the U. S. list of Sponsors of Terror. The reason is to help the lawsuits against Cuba in Florida courtrooms. Lying about such things such as the Embargo and the Terrorist List is something that helps a small number of bad people while it hurts most Cubans and Americans who are good people. Sunshine should remove the clouds that disguise such lies, and by the same token unbiased sources in the United States should criticize Cuba whenever those sources legitimately believe that Cuba is lying. I assure you, as Cuba's diplomat devoted to U. S. issues, I deplore any forms of terror. And I desire decent trade between the two neighbors."
Of course, even non-Cubans like Bush, Scott, and DeSantis can actually get elected Governor of Florida but only if they support 100% of Miami's beloved Cuban policies such as the Blockade and having Cuba on the USA's Sponsors of Terrorism list. WONDERFUL!!
A Florida governor looking down at Cuba??

Cuba & World Mourns Queen's Passing

Yes, she was the world's most famous Queen for over seven decades but Queen Elizabeth of England was also the world's most beloved lady.
Today -- on September 8th, 2022 -- Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died at age 96. The world's most famed Queen and greatest Lady will forever be missed by the World.
Now the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth II is King Charles III of England. He is a friend of the Cuban people!!!
In March of 2019 Charles and his wife Camilla became the first British royals to ever visit Cuba. Camilla had earlier written "I have long loved the Cuban people on their island, and their pugnacious spirit." On Cuban soil Charles said, "Like my wife, I have admired the Cuban people all my adult life." They walked two beautiful Cuban beaches and they strolled streets of Havana as they chatted with throngs of Cuban people. They also drove together through the streets of Havana and even stopped at a bar to take time to fix their own mixed drinks!!!
For sure, Charles and Camilla -- now the top British royals -- both love and admire the Cuban people in Cuba.
And now today -- on September 8, 2022 -- it is timely that a dear friend of Cuba's is ascending to the throne as King Charles III with his wife Camilla at his side. The timeliness, as far as Cuba is concerned, is significant as the U. S. Embargo of the island...in September of 2022...is ravishing Cuban families on the island more now than it has since it was first imposed in 1962.
The powerful organization OXFAM for years has been the world's strongest supporter of targeted women. It has thus begged the U. S. to end the Blockade against Cuba because it mostly ravishes Cuban women and their children. Continually OXFAM tells the world that Cuban women deserve the "RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT A BLOCKADE" and OXFAM tells the world about "The impact of US sanctions on the Cuban population and women's lives." However, many leaders around the world bow to the ultra-powerful and ultra-rich status of the United States and therefore don't have the guts to say anything about what the U. S. Blockade of Cuba has done and is doing to female-led families in Cuba.
But back in March of 2019 when Charles and Camilla visited Cuba, they told the international press: "The enemies of the women and the families in Cuba are shameful criminals who either rejoice in the misery in Cuba or profit from it." Now that he is KING CHARLES, perhaps the United States will finally at least listen to the King of England, the USA's greatest ally.

Pain for Both Miami & Havana Families

And WHY It Exists Decade-After-Decade!!

Based in Miami Carmen Sesin is the national journalist regarding Cuba-related News for the powerful NBC News. Usually she reports on anti-Havana propaganda on behalf of Little Havana in Miami, but this first week in September of 2022 she has actually provided an excellent news update on a story that chronicles the ageless and ongoing pain that results daily for families in both Havana and Miami.
This photo shows Alina Lopez Miyares, the Cuban-American teacher who has been released from prison in Cuba after serving a 5-year sentence for allegedly spying for Miami while on her frequent visits to Havana. But while being released from prison in Havana, the Cuban government refuses to allow her to return to Miami. This photo is sitting proudly in Miami in the home of Alina's mother who is now seriously ill in a Miami hospital. The mother, also named Alina, has been a powerful advocate for her daughter and had frequently flown from Miami to Havana to visit her imprisoned daughter in Cuba.
The tragic Cuba-in-Miami saga since 1959, as Alina's story indicates, has been a continuous conundrum that has tormented families on both sides of the Florida Straits for all these decades. Both governments are guilty but neither will admit it. Thus it might continue for another 6+ decades or so. The mainstream U. S. media, including the Miami-based NBC News journalist that reported this news-worthy article about Alina Lopez Miyares, normally promotes the myth that all Cubans in Cuba are bad and all the Cubans in Miami are good...and such propaganda, I think, continually exacerbates the torment for FAMILES in Cuba as well as in Miami.
Yet, as this updated headline indicates, even as the fierce standoff between the Cuban and USA governments continues with no end in sight, American Airlines and other key transportation sources in Miami and elsewhere in the U. S. try faithfully to serve the needs of families in Havana and Miami that want to visit each other.
"American Airlines has asked the US DOT to let it increase its 6 daily roundtrip flights between Miami and Havana to 8 daily roundtrip flights." In other words, in September of 2022 while the U. S. government has massively tried to overthrow Cuba's revolutionary government from 1959 till 2022, families in Miami are eager to fly to Cuba to see and presumably help the cruelly targeted families in Cuba. And that is why American Airlines is begging the U. S. Department of Transportation to allow it to increase "its daily roundtrip flights between Miami and Havana to 8 daily roundtrip flights." Of course, in Miami and Washington since 1959 there have always been a rich and powerful minority that will try to block any positive facet of U.S.-Cuba relations. WHY? Because from 1959 till September of 2022 negativity between the two neighboring nations has been much more profitable than positivity has been for a few already rich and powerful Cuban-Americans in Miami and in Washington.
So, American Airlines knows about the need for numerous families in Miami and Havana to visit each other. Of course, the U. S. government is obliged to pretend that anything that might add a dollar to the embargoed Cuban economy cannot be allowed. Therefore, innocent FAMILIES in both America and Cuba continue to be tormented decade-AFTER-decade-AFTER-decade!!!
And thus...this image will continue.

US Adds More Dollars to Topple Cuba!!

$6.25 million more in September-2022!!

The Cuban Minister in charge of keeping tabs on the ongoing efforts by the United States to topple Cuba's revolutionary government in the closing months of 2022 is Carlos de Cossio. On this first weekend of September-2022 he points his finger directly at the massive U. S. efforts to increase financing "the genocide against Cuban families to finally overthrow the revolution that back in 1959 overthrew the vile things that the United States, the Mafia, and the Batista dictatorship was doing to the everyday Cuban people. Lying about that period of history is a high-mighty and pious way to again dominate Cuba with extreme thievery and brutality that thankfully has been resisted for over six decades, and that resistance will continue whether or not the current Biden administration knows our firm resolve." This weekend Cossio points out that the U. S. this month of September-2022 is taking bids to give another $6.25 millions of tax dollars "to anyone that will promise to help topple Cuba's government."
As he pointed his finger at the U. S. for spending "millions more dollars to starve Cubans into submission in September of 2022," Carlos de Cossio's words were published by the London-based Reuters, as shown above. He described the latest U. S. efforts "as interventionist and illegal, aimed at toppling the government just as the island nation faces its worst economic crisis in decades." He said that U. S. agencies such as USAID, NED, etc., are handing out another $6.25 million to anyone who promises to help overthrow the Cuban government, adding to the $200 millions of dollars he says such agencies "have already parceled out to criminal mercenaries in recent decades. Perhaps in September of 2022 it is time for the U. S. government to tell the U. S. taxpayers how, prior to 1959, the U. S. used the Batista rule to rape and rob the Cuban people...spawning the Revolution. From 1959 till 2022 there have been enough Cubans on the island who know the U. S. plans for Cuba from the 1950s till now. Yes, there will be many takers for the new $6.25 million hand-outs, again making Cubans suffer but they still won't topple our government."
In the first paragraph shown above Carlos de Cossio told Reuters: "They {the U. S.} are depressing the standard of living of the population and at the same time pouring millions of US taxpayer dollars into urging people to act against the {Cuban} government." Of course, Cossio repeatedly claims that the U. S. taxpayers have been lied to about U. S. goals in Cuba "from Batista's Cuba in the 1950s until September of 2022, and perhaps it is time for the U. S. taxpayers to admit what is happening and who is benefiting from it."
Of course, on September 3rd of 2022 when Carlos de Cossio points at the Biden administration for sending another $6.25 millions "to anyone who holds up their hand and says 'I will help topple the Cuban government' the American taxpayers are supposed to believe it is to promote democracy. It is, as we all know, to make a few rich criminals even richer on the backs of the targeted Cuban families on this island. The shame is that, except for some lied-to Americans, most other decent people around the world are ashamed of what the U. S. is doing with all those dollars aimed at the sovereign people on the island that is south of Florida."
Carlos Fernandez de Cossio is Cuba's most powerful expert in charge of analyzing the the USA's intentions toward Cuba, and in September of 2022 he believes that "Most other decent people around the world are ashamed of what the U. S. is doing with all those dollars aimed at hurting the sovereign people on the island just south of Florida."
For many decades many people have written about the "DEMOCRATIZATION IN CUBA" by the island's Superpower northern neighbor, the United States of America. And as another month...September of 2022...begins, the ongoing and costly process continues unabated as it costs more-and-more U. S. dollars and more-and-more U. S. prestige. And whenever it ends, what will the DEMOCRATIZATION IN CUBA look like?????????????? Perhaps the first of those many questions should be: After winning total domination of Cuba after the quick and bloody Spanish-American War in Cuba in 1898, why didn't the U. S. bring Democracy to Cuba sometime or anytime between 1898 and 1959...when the Cuban Revolution ended the U. S., Batista, and Mafia domination of the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island???
At least during this first weekend of September in the year of 2022, as the U. S. legalized more millions of tax dollars to toppling Revolutionary Cuba, the island's Carlos de Cossio asks some "CAPTIVATING" questions, such as: "From the Spanish-American War in 1898 until the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959 the United States totally controlled Cuba, but where was the Democracy during all that time...surely not during the US-Batista-Mafia partnership that created the need for the Cuban Revolution starting in 1952??? That is a question I ask today, but why can't the American people ask that question?"
And now  Carlos de Cossio asks a pointed question about the U. S. taxpayers who keep funding those costly and cruel efforts to topple Cuba...you know to..."bring democracy to Cuba." DOES HE HAVE A POINT?
Is this nice...
....or would a SUNNY CUBA be nicer?
