OR Fear His Impeachment!

Even if the Republican President of the United States {Donald Trump} is impeached, as seems increasingly likely, the photo above is what should scare the bejibbers out of pugnacious but vulnerable little Cuba. Francisco "Paco" Palmieri is currently the top U. S. diplomat for Latin America and Latin America includes Cuba. Palmieri's official title is Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs. Cuba is located in the Western Hemisphere. This month -- May of 2017 -- Palmieri told the Council of the Americas the Trump administration's "comprehensive review" of its Cuban policy is just about finished. The Council's website said: "The Obama approach to Cuba will change as the State Department is currently in the middle of a comprehensive review of the current approach to rapprochement." That "current approach" references former President Obama's sane and decent efforts to normalize relations with Cuba. The Council's report about Palmieri clearly revealed that "Paco" is getting his Cuban input mostly from Senator Marco Rubio, the counter-revolutionary Cuban-American from Miami. The Council's website stated, "Palmieri said the State Department was considering input from lawmakers such as Rubio" without referencing "input" from other sources. That information, I believe, reveals the intention of Palmieri's forthcoming report on Cuba, laced with Rubio input, is to bludgeon Cuba and, I believe, it seals Cuba's fate...at least as far as the current State Department is concerned.
And so, even above and beyond the embattled President Trump, Francisco Palmieri is probably the biggest emerging and immediate threat to Cuba. It is likely that the Mike Flynn-Russia/James Comey-Russia nexus will be the final tool Trump's four prime enemies -- MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post -- needed to hammer out their relentless and prime goal, which is to destroy the Trump presidency. {Disclosure: I am not a Trump supporter}. It is not surprising, of course, that Palmieri's prime "input" regarding Cuba is coming from Miami's prime counter-revolutionary zealot, Marco Rubio.
A prime counter-revolutionary journalist at America's prime counter-revolutionary newspaper, the Miami Herald, is Nora Gamez Torres. One of her recent articles had this ominous title: "Marco Rubio: 'Trump Will Treat Cuba Like The Dictatorship It Is.'" I think it was extremely but typically one-sided and quite mindful of the typical "journalistic" intimidation aimed across the Florida Straits at Cuba from Miami. Ms. Gamez included interesting sentences such as: "Rubio's statements, nevertheless, hint that Trump policies may target the Cuban military." Really? Air-borne bombs? Submarine missiles? Silo nukes? Also, in addition to spotlighting Rubio, Ms. Gamez highlighted other anti-Castro extremists, such as visceral dissident leader Antonio G. Rodiles. That does not compute with the fact that even Miami polls show that most Cuban-Americans strongly favor normalizing relations with Cuba but such Cubans are not elected to the U. S. Congress from Miami and such Cubans are rarely mentioned in the Miami Herald, whose heroes, in addition to the likes of Rubio, seem to be dissidents such as Rodiles.
The Nora Gamez Torres-Miami Herald article used this photo of prime Cuban dissident Antonio G. Rodiles to appear to suggest that he speaks for most Cubans and most Cuban-Americans. The article said, "Rodiles and his partner, activist Ailer Gonzalez, are calling for..." Fine, just don't suggest they speak for most Cubans, most Cuban-Americans, most Americans or for any of the nations at the United Nations who voted 191-to-0 in favor of Cuba the last time the U.S.-Cuban issue came up. The article also included a sentence -- "Attorney Jason Poblette...his wife Yleem Poblette was appointed to the Trump transition team..." -- to apparently suggest that with people like Rodiles, the Poblettes, Rubio, etc., leading the way, only Counter-Revolutionary Cubans and Cuban-Americans were advising President Trump in regards to Cuba.
This was the photo the aforementioned Gamez-Miami Herald article used to apparently suggest that Marco Rubio, the counter-revolutionary U. S. Senator from Miami, is the dominant extremist convincing President Trump to "target" Cuba. Remember that incredible sentence by Ms. Gamez: "Rubio's statements, nevertheless, hint that Trump policies may target the Cuban military." WOW!! Rubio, the ambitious presidential wannabee, is like a Fox in Trump's hen-house -- keen to devour the hens, meaning Cuba, but also perhaps to get rid of the proprietor of the hen-house, Mr. Trump. As Commander-in-Chief for the next four years unless he is impeached, Mr. Trump could "target" Cuba quite successfully and quite quickly. But the aftermath might resemble primarily inflaming a huge beehive that America doesn't need in its backyard while it needs all the friends it can get to help fight its many faraway wars, threats and entanglements.
"Rubio's statements, nevertheless,
hint that Trump policies may target
the Cuban military."
Wow!
