US-Cuba at End of September-2023

 The 6-decade-old Blockade Worsens!!

Of all of the top U. S. airlines, JetBlue is the one that has tried the hardest to buck the U. S. cruel U. S. EMBARGO on Cuba that has existed since 1962. As you can see by the joyous Miami headline shown above, a few days ago -- on September 17th of 2023 -- JetBlue was forced to end its flights to Cuba, explaining that the tightened "restrictive" U. S. blockade of the nearby island by the recent Trump-Biden administrations in Washington have strenghened the economic blockade of Cuba that has been both cruel and stupid since 1962, as the world's strongest and richest Democracy caters only to a few self-serving Cuban-American Counter Revolutionaries in Miami, Newark, and, of course, in Washington.
The absurdity and cruelty of the U. S. in September of 2023 expanding the absurb and cruel blockade that has existed since 1962 reminds many of the photo and caption shown above. It was a report from Miami by CBS News that is still easily accessed on You Tube, etc. And YET, Americans -- who have been programmed to support or condone the Cuban Blockade since 1962, are not supposed to know who Hugo Cancio is because the mainstream U. S. media -- which polls reveal is "not trusted" by 90% of Americans -- continually propagandize Americans by only reporting only Miami's version of Cuban News. So...permit me to truthfully tell you who Hugo Cancio is and why the CBS Headline above actually says: 'BUSINESSMAN: CUBA IS THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY"!!!!
Since the Cuban Revolution in January of 1959 kicked the Batistianos, the Mafiosi, and U. S. businessmen out of Havana, all the way to Little Havana in Miami, the U. S. media has told Americans to listen only to Counter Revolutionary Cuban-Americans and never listen to fair-minded Cuban-Americans such as Hugo Cancio of Miami. But as a businessman and family-man Hugo is vastly important...not to mention honest!!
Yes, the bold and brilliant Hugo Cancio knows both Cuban President Diaz-Canel and U. S. President Biden. One of Cancio's businesses headquartered in both Miami and Havana is OnCuba News, which is extremely rare in that it actually reports fairly and honestly on U.S.-Cuba News. AMAZING!! In that vein, below are some of the items that OnCuba News posted today in both Spanish & English:
As you see via the OnCuba News posts today, it reports fairly on important items involving U. S. and Cuba...including the gigantic revelation that Bob Menendez, by far the most powerful Cuban-American politician who is the longtime Chairman of the U. S. Senate's Foreign Relations Committee, and now is once again being charged with massively gigantic felonies, first in 2017 regarding Miami-Dominican Republic shenanigans and now involving Newark-Egypt. So, as this new revelation is breaking, it is important that it is reported fairly and honestly by the powerful U. S. media, and that simply has not been done since 1959. Therefore a more fair and honest news source regardin U.S.-Cuban Affairs is very important, and one fair and honest source is OnCuba News.
Yes, a decent & brilliant Miami Cuban-American Hugo Cancio has the courage and decency to say things such as "Cuba is the land of opportunity" and that "Fidel Castro's Cuba is better for Cubans than Batista's Cuba." Yet, since 1962, Americans have been told they should support or condone an economic Embargo/Blockade against the island until the starved and miserable Cubans overthrow their Revolution, presumably to return the 1950s-type Batistiano-Mafiosi government that will allow rich U. S. companies to again wildly partake in the wholesale rape & robbery of the lush but vulnerable island.
Of course, it doesn't matter if Cuban-Americans in Miami such as Hugo Cancio and almost every person in the world "Says No to the U. S. Blockade of Cuba and wants the U. S. to return the plush Guantanamo Port to Cuba." What does matter and what has mattered for the past six+ decades is that a few rich and politically powerful Cuban-Americans in Miami and Washington want the Blockade to continue. And so...it will!!!

Why US Embargo of Cuba HURTS US

Starving a littler neighbor is stupid!!

Today -- on September 20th, 2023 -- the top Cuban-related article flashing around the U. S. and the world is by Partick Oppmann of CNN. It is entitled: "Why Cubans Are Fighting For Russia In Ukraine." It clearly points out two things: {1} The U. S. Embargo against Cuba, which began in 1962 and has been cruelly expanded by both the Trump & Biden administrations, is indeed starving Cuban families on the island in September of 2023; and {2} It reminds many that the U. S. wildly helped the theiving and brutal Batista-Mafia dictationship back in the 1950s boldly rape and rob the nearby island at will. But the Oppmann-CNN report today massively explains how totally brutal two things are: {1} Wars between nations are terrible; and {2} Endless economic EMBARGOES/BLOCKADES by powerful nations against much-weaker nations are terrible. Below is how Patrick Oppmann began his article for CNN today:
Starved by the endless U. S. Embargo in their homeland of Cuba, vulnerable young men are being duped to travel to Russia on the pretense of being paid to work construction jobs, only to be forced to fight on frontlines in the brutal Ukraine-Russia War.
In the long, tragic CNN article today, Patrick Oppmann above reports how a mother named "Cecilia" is coping in Cuba knowing what is happening to her son as he is forced to fight in the Ukraine-Russia War. Of course, "Cecilia", who has faced the cruelty of the U. S. Embargo all her life, also knows why her son was so easily duped to leave Cuba for a glimmer of hope in Russia, not knowing what really awaited him.
And so...today, now late into the month of September in 2023, an important report by Patrick Oppmann on CNN News doesn't actually mean a damn thing to a third generation of Americans who have cowardly condoned the U. S. Embargo of Cuba that began in 1962. Of course, despite the image conveyed around the world by the image above, Amercians are supposed to believe that the ones responsible for the Embargo are the good guys and the starving, grieving mothers in Cuba are the bad guys.

UN Today Hears About US Blockade of Cuba

 September 18th of 2023

This was Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel arrving at the United Nations today in New York City.

Today -- September 18th, 2023 -- in New York City the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, let the U. S. and the world listen to what he thinks of the U. S. economic Blockade of Cuba that started in 1962 and has been STRENGTHENED by the last two U. S. administrations led by Presidents Trump and Biden.
At the UN in NY today the theme "No More Blockade" resonated around the podiums and hallways.
After his calm but scathing "No Blockade" speech at the UN podium today, President Diaz-Canel was surrounded by journalists out in the hallways. In the past two weeks -- at first the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg and the G77+China Summit in Havana, more than half of the nations in the world loudly and lavishly denounced the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of Cuba. Today in New York Diaz-Canel was asked, "At the BRICS Summit in South Africa, Mia Mottley -- the Prime Minister of Barbados -- called the U. S. blockade of Cuba 'callous and brutal." And Diaz-Canel replied, "Those words Callous and brutal, I have found this year, is what I have found is what the entire world, except for the U. S., thinks of the blockade of Cuba. Now I suggest you ask the United States why it has existed since 1962, targeting three generations of innocent Cubans families."
Cuba at the United Nations TODAY.
Showing dire concern for how much the U. S. blockade of Cuba has hurt "Cuban Women," the top leader of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in the past two weeks at the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg and at the G77+China Summit in Havana, Antonio Guterres also expressed the same sentiment, agreeing with the leaders who called the blockade "callous and brutal," especially for generations of Cuban women and children.
The historic photos above taken in 1979, 1995, and 2000 show that Fidel Castro regularly blistered the U. S. blockade of Cuba with his scathing speeches at the United Nations in New York. Before Fidel Castro died peacefully at age 90 in Havana in 2016, of course, the U. S. supporters of the blockade have told the American people that the people in Cuba hated their revolutionary leader and that the endless blockade is intended to "help everyday Cuban families." Of course, back in the 1950s during the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship, most Cubans fiercely loved Fidel Castro and in Septermber of 2023 they still fiercely love his legacy...while hating the blockade, of course.
As the U. S. has done since 1962, the United States today has denied that this seminal and definitive image of the Embargo/Blockade provokes a bad worldwide image of the United States and Democracy. It seems that...the rest of the world disagrees with the United States when it claims that this is a nice IMAGE OF THE UNITED STATES.

Mid-September 2023 & Cuba Mounts Survival Fight

With More HELP THAN EVER BEFORE!!

This weekend -- on September 16th-17th, 2023 -- Cuba is hosting the G77 Summit in Havana. It consists of 77 members but a total of 132 nations are represented PLUS the head of the United Nations. This weekend Presidents such as Alberto Fernandez of Argentina, Gustavo Petro of Colombia, etc., have loudly and forcefully denounced the U. S. Embargo that has attempted to starve the Cuban economy since 1962, with many of the leaders now terming the "interminable cruelty by a strong nation against vulnerable masses of people in a smaller nation endlessly shameful and, also, insane."
But, perhaps, Mia Mottley -- the Prime Minister of Barbados since 2018 -- unleased the most vicious denunciation of the United States Embargo against "succeeding generations of Cuban families that have the right to breathe, the right to like their revolutionary government if they so desire, and the right not to be starved to death by a neighbor that happens to be the richest and strongest nation in the world."
Normally, since the Cuban Revolution in 1959 chased the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship out of Havana to Little Havana in Miami, the mainstream Media has painted Revolutionary Cuba as terrible while implying that what preceded it was incredibly wonderful. But the cruelty of the U.S. Embargo since 1962 has finally, it seems, shown that the rest of the region and the world should also be allowed to express opnions about it. Above you can see that ABC News and the Associated Press actually combined a massively truthful report on this weekend's G77 Summit in Havana that is actually being supported by 132 nations. As you see above, the mainstream media even was honest about what Mia Mottley said that resonated loudly and unanimously at the Summit: "Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley railed against the U. S. Embargo on Cuba in her speech, calling it 'callous and brutal.' She also called Cuba a beacon among developing nations in innovations through science and technology. 'With little, you have done much,' she said." Also note above that ABC News and the Associated Press even quoted Mia Mottley denoucing the extreme dishonesty about Cuba by the U. S. when she warned that "accountability and transparency are needed {regarding Cuba} so that Democracy doesn't unravel." In other words, speaking for the 132 nations in Havana this weekend, Mia Mottley warned that the U. S. Embargo against Cuba and other such "atrocities" not only hurt Cuban families but also hurt Democracy too.
And both privately and publicly when she met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley said, "What the United States is doing to starve Cuban families is also starving Democracy and all other forms of governments that are trying to treat masses of citizens fairly."
Also during this important Mid-September of 2023 Weekend in Havana, Cuba's President Diaz-Canel warmly greeted Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations in New York. Guterres said, "It should not be denied that hundreds of other developing nations have looked to Cuba for guidance and leadership, and in 2023 that is still the case. I arrived in Havana to remind the world, from my perch at the United Nations where I have been critical of Cuba, that the good Cuba does should not be swept under the rug just because to do so benefits any stronger nation. Developing nations should not be punished to benefit richer nations."
If this image has benefited the richer nation since 1962, the smaller nation on September 15th, 16th, and 17th now seems to have the support of the rest of the world to end it.

Cuba Today Shows How It Will Beat US Blockade

 September 15th, 2023!!!!

Today -- SEPTEMBER 15TH-2023 -- the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, used headphones to listen to dozens of key leaders from the region and around the world who -- in many different languages -- expressed massive support for the Cuban people and massive denunciation of the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of the island that began in 1962 and recently has been tightened. Above both President Diaz-Canel and millions of Cubans on live national and regional television heard this exact theme as articulated by Argentina's President Alberto Fernandez: "At shameful times in history the world has allowed vicious and strong people in powerful nations to starve or otherwise destroy weaker people in much less powerful nations. The prime example for this shame in modern times has been the U. S. economic blockade of Cuba, and a cowardly world has allowed it to persist. At last, the world should show some guts on behalf of the Cuban people...!!"

Today -- SEPTEMBER 15th-2023 -- Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel is a very busy man. He is hosting his own G77 Summit + China to bolster support from dozens of key nations around the world that are pledging to help the Caribbean island survive the tightened six-decade-old U. S. economic Embargo/Blockade that he says "is designed to starve Cuban families in the total manner that the word 'starve' means. I will show that the starvation of Cuban families, even by the Superpower United States, will not be allowed to continue forever." Yesterday and today, as the images below show, Cuba is providing red-carpet treatment for hundreds of foreign leaders.
And so...today and tomorrow -- Septermber 15th and 16th, 2023 -- Cuba is lavishly spending valuable time and money to try to make sure that dozens of key countries, plus a particular Superpower, will speak with one voice to finally demand that an endless and brutal economic blockade of Cuba by a nearby Superpower should finally end. Cumbre Del G77 Y China means Summit of G77 and China. The United States and the U. S. media, of course, will ignore this weekend's Cuban G-77 Summit and China but that doesn't mean it will not have an impact on combatting the longest and cruelest economic blockade that any large nation has ever imposed on any small nation.
On September 15th and 16th of 2023, Cuba's Summit G77 + China is trying to counteract the USA's Economic Blockade of the vulnerable Caribbean island. Which is worse...this weekend's Summit in Cuba or the six-decade-old Blockade from the USA??
