Little Havana's Anti-Havana Campaigns Heating UP

And it has been HEATING UP since 1959!!

Since January of 1959, when the Cuban Revolution overthrew the Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba, Little Havana in nearby Miami has led a massive and ongoing campaign to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba. Little Havana since 1959 has mounted an unending two-pronged attack that combines directing both the U. S. Media and the U. S. government to support the "regime change" in Cuba. Incredibly...Little Havana's ultra-powerful campaign since 1959 to overthrow Havana has not yet been successful...but it is reaching new peaks, believe it or not, on JULY 17th of 2023!!

As has been the case since 1959, the Miami Herald and a vast litany of its uncontested journalists such as Andres Oppenheimer have led the charge for Little Havana to revamp Havana and change the "regime" in Cuba.
Today -- on JULY 17th of 2023 -- above is Andres Oppenheimer's blaring Editorial in the Miami Herald. In addition to easily dictating the U. S. views regarding Cuba for decades, it seems that Mr. Oppenheimer and the Miami Herald today are trying to dictate how the 27 nations of the European Union treat Cuba. The U. S., of course, doesn't talk to Cuba's President/"Dictator" Miguel Diaz-Canel and, for sure, Oppenheimer and the Miami Herald don't want any other nation to talk to him either.
Above you can see the Top Cuban Headlines today -- on JULY 17th in 2023 -- and, of course, the massive Oppenheimer/Miami Herald headline leads the anti-Havana rampage on behalf of Little Havana.
Indeed, welcome to Little Havana USA!!
And welcome to this USA IMAGE since 1962!!
But Miami and Havana are neighbors!!

THE 3 Nuclear Super-Powers All Eye Cuba!!!!

Folks, is it posturing or Warlike??

Folks, today is JULY 15th-2023. The photo above shows a Russian nuclear worship arriving this week in Havana Harbor!!
Folks, this photo shows a nuclear-powered U. S.submarine that docked this week in mid-JULY of 2023 at the powerful U. S. Naval Base at Guantanamo in Cuba!! As the United States is well aware, in recent days large and high-ranked delegations from Russia, China, and even Iran have visited Havana, apparently to court Cuba's political support during dire international conflicts.
Above you can see the TOP Cuban Headlines flashing around the world on JULY 15th in 2023. Yes, the world is a bit worried about the Russian nuclear warship in Havana Harbor and the U. S. nuclear submarine in Guantanamo, Cuba.
As shown above, China also has a strong and growing nuclear submarine force and more-and-more China is the USA's prime economic and military competitor on the world stage.
    U. S. news media sources such as the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, etc., are publishing huge headlines regarding China more-and-more cozying up to Cuba as world conflicts and competitions between Superpowers simmer.
And, yes, in recent days Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel has been warmly photographed and headlined hosting key leaders from China, Russia, and Iran in Havana, but the two photos shown above this week reveal that mostly he is flying to other countries such as Europe's Portugal that borders Spain.
As in other U.S.-friendly nations that he has recently visited, President Diaz-Canel has been given red-carpet treatment this week in Lisbon, Portugal.
In Lisbon this week both the two Presidents and the two First Ladies were dear friends. This shows Cuba's First Lady Lis Cuesta receiving a bouquet of flowers upon her arrival at the airport in Lisbon.
Since 1903, or five years since the U. S. easily won the 1898 Spanish-American War in Cuba, the U. S. has occupied Guantanamo Bay where it has an infamous prison but also a powerful Military Base and luxuries such as restaurants, a bowling alley, etc. In Mid-JULY of 2023 conflicts concerning the U. S., China, Russia, Iran, etc., have revived Cuba's claim that it wants and deserves to have the very valuable Guantanamo Bay returned and for Cuba to be adequately compensated for not having it since 1903. This week in JULY of 2023 what is the U. S. saying by having a nuclear submarine at Guantanamo? Maybe the answer will arrive soon?
Meanwhile, Cuban President Diaz-Canel is receiving some interesting foreign leaders in Havana although he seems more interested in flying to other capital cities such as Lisbon to garner further  support for Cuban concerns such as...the U. S. Embargo/Blockade, Guantanamo Bay, etc.??????

Some Truths About Cuba on July 13, 2023

 Uh...If You Don't Mind???

Today -- on July 13th-2023 -- all the giddy U. S. headlines regarding Cuba, from the lavish Miami media to NBC News in New York, are screaming about the U. S. nuclear submarine docked at the U. S. Naval Base in Guantanamo!!! But above you at least should see today's massive article about Cuba's reaction to the situation by the Washington-based Democracy in the Americas.org website, a powerful advocate for friendly relations between Cuba and its northern neighbor, the United States.
One thing Cuba has done since its shocking and victorious Revolution in 1959 is graduate talented television/radio journalists and also, somehow, devote a lot of time and expenses to presenting well-crafted daily broadcasts. Above are co-anchors on JULY 13th-2023 preparing to deliver a nationwhile Television Newscast. They, of course, mentioned the nuclear submarine at Guantanamo but by far their Top Story covered the latest foreign trip by Cuba's President and First Lady as they continue to garner support for things such as trying to finally end or ease the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of the island that started 6+-decades-ago in 1962 and Cuba says has been elevated to extreme starvation/deprivation situations by the last two U. S. administrations, Trump's and Biden's. It also happens that...Cuba is awash with one of the best and most sophisticated Television News operations in North America. So, today -- on JULY 13-2023 -- the images shown below are from Cuba's Newscasts showing their President and First Lady arriving today in yet another important foreign nation, this time Portugal.
Yes, Cuba's very sophisticated Television Newscast today -- July 13th-2023 -- showed live coverage as it informed the Cuban people today that the Big Story was the trip to Portugal by Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel and First Lady Lis Cuesta. The Cuban people are, of course, direly concerned with hoping that foreign pressure will finally compel the United States to end its stifling 6+-decade-old Embargo/Blockade of the island. And that's what the Cuban people want to see their President and First Lady trying to accomplish. And that's why this latest important trip to Portugal, not the nuclear U. S. submarine at Guantanamo, was the Top Story on Cuban Newscasts today.
In fact, this month of JULY in 2023, one of Cuba's most popular Television News Anchors is shown making friends with Chinese children in Beijing. And, of course, Cuba's ultra-modern TV transmissions can cover such things.
And, in fact, yesterday this image shows Cuba's two very popular Sportscasters -- Rogmary Garcia and Carlos Hernandez -- reporting from Barcelona, Spain where a Cuban team happens to be playing this week. The night before Rogmary and Carlos had watched the U. S. Major League All-Star Game from Seattle and they were verily impressed that Cuban-born players were so powerfully featured, especially the Chicago White Sox's Center Fielder Luis Robert who played for Cuba in the recent World Baseball Classic in Tokyo. In fact, apart from the great young superstar Luis Robert, other Cuban-born players were batting #3, #5, and #6 in the American League's All-Star Batting Order. In fact, Rogmary and Carlos -- holding the hat and bat -- are shown above in Barcelona gloating about Cuba's strong presence in the U. S. Major League All-Star Game in Seattle. And Rogmary and Carlos are abundantly aware that Cubans in Cuba want to hear about Baseball, not just about a U. S. nuclear submarine docked in Guantanamo.

US Nuclear Submarine Docks IN CUBA'S Waters!!!!

And Should Anyone Be Concerned??

The map above shows the location of the powerful U. S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. It has been a thorn in Cuba's heart since 1903, which was five years after the U. S. easily won the 1898 Spanish-American War fought in Cuba. Today -- JULY 12th of 2023 -- Revolutionary Cuba is making international headlines once again about "the new U. S. threats and illegal provactions from its military hold on Cuban land at Guantanamo Bay." This time...Cuba is objecting to a U. S. nuclear submarine being docked at a key Cuban port.
Along with the JULY 12-2023 Headlines shown above, this is an updated Associated Press aerial photo that shows some of the Cuban land and sea that the United States commands at Guantanamo, Cuba.
The image above reveals the coverage on JULY 12th-2023 on Cuban Newscasts about the U. S. nuclear submarine now docked at Guantanamo Bay. Among other things, Cuba is saying that..."...the U. S. has over 70 other military bases in the region, including 13 major military bases including its Southern Command headquarters in nearby Florida. Also, the U. S. has nuclear submarines patrolling the Caribbean Sea and it doesn't need to dock a nuclear submarine in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay, except to further intimidate the Cuban people, which it has been doing since 1903 when it established its Military Base at Guantanamo and particularly since 1959 when the Cuban Revolution kicked other thefts and a host of other criminal activities out of Cuba."
Above you can see what the Associated Press and the U. S. Defense Department is saying about the nuclear U. S. submarine being docked in Cuban waters at Guantanamo Bay: "A U. S. defense official told the Associated Press that a Navy submarine made a scheduled logistics stop at Guantanamo Bay...."
When Cuba points out that "The United States has established more than 70 military bases in the region...", Cuba is stressing that the superpower U. S. military doesn't need its everlasting Military Base on Cuban soil at Guantanamo Bay, nor does the U. S. need to dock a nuclear submarine in Cuba "except to futher intimidate the Cuban people as well as scare other countries that the U. S. perceives as being friendly to Cuba." Cuba, of course, believes the nuclear U. S. submarine docked in Cuba is tied to the U. S. "perception" that China and Russia are cozying up to Cuba as tensions between the three nuclear Superpowers heighten in JULY of 2023.
Indeed, in nearby Florida and on up the Eastern Coast the U. S. has numerous Military Bases, plus it has a powerful Caribbean Base in the U. S. Territory of Puerto Rico. Also the U. S. has its unmatched nuclear submarines patrolling the Caribbean Sea, etc. But since 1903 why has the U. S. needed a powerful Military Base in Cuba and on JULY 12th of 2023 why does the U. S. need to dock a nuclear submarine in Cuba??
Yes, at its sprawling Military Base at Guantanamo, Cuba, the U. S. has State-of-the-Art facilities, such as the splendid airport shown above. Miami's U. S. Senator Marco Rubio and other second generation Cuban-Americans who have never been to "Cuba" have been know to fly to this gorgeous U. S. Airport at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The U. S. Military Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba also has nice Gift Shops, Restaurants, recreeation areas, etc., as well as an infamous Military Prison.
And as of JULY 12th of 2023 there is a nuclear U. S. submarine docked at Gualntanamo Bay, Cuba. Of course, among Cuba's many objections about the U. S. Military Base at Guantanamo Bay since 1903, Cuba is not supposed to object to the United States docking a nuclear submarine at a key Cuban port.

Cuba Remains A Treasure Trove for Baseball Talent

Tonight in Seattle the Major League Baseball season has its mid-season All-Star Game. In an era when baseball stars are routinely signing long-term $40-million-dollar-a YEAR contracts, I believe two 25-year-old Center Fielders -- Luis Robert Jr. and Ronald Acuna Jr. are the two best baseball players on the planet. They are from two baseball meccas -- Cuba and Venezuela -- that are under dire and cruel economic sanctions from the United States. And Yet both Cuba and Venezuela continue to produce many of the top Superstars in the U. S. Major Leagues, such as Robert from Cuba and Acuna from Venezuela.
Above you can see the starting Batting Order for the American League for tonight's All-Star Game in Seattle. Note that Luis Robert Jr. is not listed although he is the best player in the AL as a brilliant Center Fielder and Slugger {26 homers already this season} for the Chicago White Sox. Robert also played Center Field for Cuba in this year's World Baseball Classic played in Tokyo. But while Robert is not in the starting batting order shown above, Cuba still has three of the first six hitters for the American League -- with Arozarena hitting #3, Diaz #5, and Garcia, #6. This Batting Order attests to Cuba's love for baseball, and also for Cuban parents knowing that Major League Baseball stars in the U. S. now routinely can command long-term contracts paying over $40 million dollars a YEAR!!
Born 26-years-ago in Las Tunas, Cuba, Yordan Alvarez is not in tonight's All-Star Game because he is currently sidelined with an injury but he is one of the best hitters in the Major Leagues, meaning the Houston Astros may have to really open their bank account when his current multi-million-dollar contract comes up again.
This photo shows Yordan Alvarez's family watching him play for the Astros in Houston. Left to right is Yordan's father, mother, wife Monica, and his brother.
From Cuba to the United States with lots of Love and lots of Wealth in Houston. This photo shows Yordan Alvarez with his wife and their two children.
