US Says Cuba Is Not A Country

The Same U. S. That Loved Batista's Cuba!!

Cuba, the largest nation in the Caribbean, is being told by other Caribbean nations that the United States will not allow Cuba to be represented at the upcoming Ninth Summit of the Americas to be held in Los Angeles this June. The reason: The Biden administration is maintaining the Trump administration's draconian Cuban policies to appease Miami extremists who "still clamor for a pre-revolutionary Batista-like 1950's Cuba."
The little western Caribbean nation of Dominica is a leader in keeping Cuba apprised of how regional nations are influenced by Miami-Washington extremists to keep expanding efforts to "blockade Cuba from area economical and governmental associations, including the Summit of the Americas in LA in June." Dominica is an interesting mountainous nation with natural hot springs, tropical rainforests, and other natural features.

Today -- Wednesday, April 27-2022 -- the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, is wrapping up a three-day visit to Cuba. As shown above, Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel honored Skerrit with Cuba's highest medal that it can be awarded to a foreign leader. As he left the island, Skerrit said, "Cuba should be showered with the highest recognition as an important Caribbean nation and all of the Caribbean nations agree with that conclusion, unless they are intimidated otherwise by the power of the United States. Every year in the United Nations every Caribbean country votes against the U. S. blockade of Cuba that started in 1962 to starve the island after it eliminated the U. S. dictator Batista. In fact, at the UN the typical worldwide vote against the blockade is usually 189-2 with only U. S. dependent Israel always siding with the U. S. vote. Just because it is the Superpower economically and militarily should not give one powerful nation the right to do this to the people in Cuba."

Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez says that, "The U. S. pressuring other nations to bar Cuba from the Los Angeles Summit in June highlights the fact that the U. S. democracy blatantly allows a few extremists in Miami to dictate Washington's Cuban policies. This has been true since 1959."
Cuba admits that it was surprised last week when the Biden administration allowed Cuban diplomats to participate in a meeting in Washington that concerned both nations.
Cuba's veteran Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has long complained that "the U. S. media is unwilling or unable to report the truth about U. S. relations with Cuba." So, typically -- as shown above -- Rodriguez goes on Social Media platforms to state Cuba's positions on such things as the upcoming Summit of the Americas.
Cuba told the powerful Reuters News agency, "The Cuban government believes the people in Cuba that are being blockaded or deprived of family necessities by decisions Washington gets from Miami are the Cubans in Cuba, not in Miami, and they should be represented at the Summit of the Americas that, on U. S. soil, will benefit Miami and hurt Cuba. That is the only reason we think Cubans in Cuba should be represented, not just Miami Cubans who benefit from hurting Cubans in Cuba."
Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel turned 62-years-old this month of April-2022 and he was born in 1960 right after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959. Regarding the upcoming USA's Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles in June, Diaz-Canel said: "In the 1950s the U. S. powerfully supported the brutal dictator Batista because Batista allowed rich Americans to share in the wholesale usurpation of Cuba's resources with no concern for helping the everyday Cuban people. In 2022 we can assume, if the U. S. had a Batista in Cuba today, that he would not only be invited to the 2022 Summit of the Americas but probably be the most praised leader in attendance in Los Angeles."

Indeed, in Batista's Cuba in the 1950s prior to the Revolution, Americans were wildly encouraged to visit Cuba where they would be given "V.I.P" treatment as they deposited their dollars in the Mafia-run hotels, gambling casinos, and other lucrative enterprises.
Any true history of Batista's Cuba in the 1950s would reveal how the U. S. government encouraged tourists "to FLOCK to Cuba" so the Batistianos, the Mafiosi, and the U. S. businessmen could wallow in the lucrative spoils. The bit of history shown above was by Smithsonian HISTORY. But Batista's Cuba in the 1950s ended on January 1, 1959...the day that Little Havana began to take hold in nearby Miami, Florida.
In Batista's Cuba in the 1950s, while raking in tons of loot, Batista didn't bother to toss a few crumbs to the majority everyday Cubans. After all, Batista had a powerful U.S.-trained army {trained at Fort Benning in Georgia} and Batista also knew he was supported by the strongest criminal organization in the world, the Mafia, and by the strongest nation in the world, the United States. So, Batista believed he and his best Mafia pal Meyer Lansky could invest their loot in their favorite city, Miami, and that there was no need to toss a few crumbs to the peasants in Cuba.
Of course, Batista's extreme greed and brutality created the Cuban Revolution that, starting in 1959, reshaped Havana while also creating Little Havana in Miami. While the U. S. media in 2022 is not about to mention such things, some brave and knowledgeable experts such as T. J. ENGLISH have told us exactly "How the Mob Owned Cuba...and Then Lost It to the Revolution."
And therefore, if you know a little history about Batista's Cuba in the 1950s you will also know a lot about Little Havana USA since 1959, the U. S. EMBARGO of Cuba since 1962, and you will also know why Cuba will be barred from the 9th Summit of the Americas that will be held in Los Angeles in June of 2022. But the question is...if the U. S. had another Batista in Cuba in 2022, would Cuba then be invited to the Summit of the Americas in Los Angles in June of 2022?

Cuba News in the Digital Age

In this last week of April in 2022 the United States actually spoke to a Cuban official for the first time since President Trump overturned all of President Obama's positive overtures to the blockaded Caribbean nation. Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez sent Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, his Deputy and top U. S. specialist, to the meeting in Washington, which pertained to the flood of Cubans migrating to the U.S.-Mexican border as the anti-Cuban Biden administration deals with a massively volatile Migration Crisis. Bruno Rodriguez, respected as one of the most knowledgeable experts on U.S.-Cuban Affairs, commented, "This week's discussions between our delegation and the U. S. officials in Washington regarding migration has faced the same problem that has plagued and prevented honest, sane, and decent progress in U.S.-Cuban relations for decades, and that ongoing problem is the U. S. media's refusal to tell the American people the truth about U. S. involvements with Cuba. To support or condone the U. S. government's Cuban policy, only what pleases a handful of Counter Revolutionary zealots in Miami is what the U. S. media reports. And that journalistic problem in the U. S. shames innocent Cuban families as well as American families."
Surprisingly "disgusted that Biden has followed Trump's genocidal additions to the Miami-brokered Helms-Burton criminality," Bruno Rodriguez long ago realized the U. S. media would report the Miami-permitted side of this week's U.S.-Cuba meeting in Washington. So, as shown above, Bruno Rodriguez went on social media platforms to present Cuba's side regarding "the bilateral migration accords."
So once again, after this week's "bilateral migration accords," Cuba's veteran Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reiterated what he has told audiences many times before: "Good people in the United States and good people in Cuba, especially those in everyday families, are at the mercy of a mainstream U. S. media that refuses to tell the truth about relationships between the United States and Cuba. The military, economic, and media power of the United States spreads that problem far beyond U. S. shores. It is up to the American people, I believe, to correct this longstanding problem, which plagues Americans and Cubans alike."
On April 24-2022 Cuba News, as usual, originates in Miami and often spreads around the world.
For sure, U.S.-Cuba Relations are hampered when, as all polls seem to confirm, American citizens are "untrustful of the U. S. media."

US-Cuba Migration Talks Let Cuba Speak

On Thursday -- April 21st-2022 -- the United States hosted Cuba in very important migration talks. At the event in Washington, Emily Mendrala -- Deputy Secretary for the Western Hemisphere -- led the U. S. delegation -- and Carlos Fernandez de Cossio -- Cuba's top Minister for United States Affairs -- led the Cuban delegation. Avalanches of migrants, including thousands of Cubans, are flooding across the Mexican-U. S. border.

As shown above and below, at yesterday's discussion the U. S. uniquely provided Cuba an opportunity to air some of its many grievances regarding U. S. policies against the Caribbean's largest nation.

A U. S. Journalist With Guts to Tell Cuban Truths??

Wow!!!!!!

Today -- on Thursday, April 21, 2022 -- Biden administration officials actually held |"HIGH-LEVEL" talks with Cuban officials regarding "MIGRATION!!" Normally the United States never discusses anything with Cuban officials or everyday Cubans because the Superpower U. S. is obsessed with either regaining control of Cuba for Miami Cubans or continuing to expand the 6-decade-old Embargo against the island that many Cubans and many people around the world consider to be genocidal treatment of everyday Cubans families on the island.

In the United States, only Miami speaks for Washington when it comes to Cuba. But the Miami article above article at least sort of explains why the U. S. on April 22-2022 wanted to hold discussions in Washington with Cuba's top U. S. experts regarding the USA's glaring migration problems along its southern border with Mexico.

The U. S. media, which is basically obligated to report only Miami's side of the two-sided U.S.-Cuban conundrum, just before today's U.S.-Cuba talks in Washington actually a couple the U. S.  media asked for a sit-down in Havana, as shown above, with Cuba's greatest U. S. expert, Josefina Vidal. The two interviewers, incredibly, were from CNN and the Associated Press. Incredible...uh, yes, incredible!! For the U. S. media to listen to what a powerful Cuban diplomat says is truly amazing. There is no American on the planet that knows as much as the 61-year-old Vidal knows about U.S.-Cuban relations. When President Obama tried to normalize relations with Cuba, it was Vidalboth publicly and behind closed doors, who represented Cuba. With both the Trump and Biden administrations wiping out the Obana-Vidal agreements and sanity, Vidal has since had a enjoyable time in Ottawa as Cuba's Ambassador to Canada but she returned to Havana because of what she feels is the new Trump-Biden genocide against Cuban families. "At least Obama listened to us and amazingly, in April of 2022, Biden is listening to us, at least because of Biden's problems on the U.S.-Mexican border. Then, I presume, the Miami stranglehold on dictating self-serving Cuban policies will resume Miami's glee and profits from U. S. cruelty to Cuban families."

For many decades the Associated Press has been the largest and most respected News Agency in the United States. Such trust is considered to be essential to the world's strongest Democracy. For 230 years or so the U. S. Democracy enjoyed and benefited from a news media that was trusted by most Americans. But now the Gallup Poll and other polls reveal that "most Americans no longer trust the mainstream U. S.  media." That, I believe, is particularly so regarding the USA's ageless and contentious relationship with the island of Cuba. While supposedly Cuba rates near the bottom of the USA's priority concerns, both history and topicality says that is untrue. Thomas Jefferson and other notable Founding Fathers in the 1770s were obsessed with owning/controlling Cuba...not so unlike the U. S. leaders in 2022 in Miami, Newark, and Washington are obsessed with owning/controlling Cuba. Historical and topical events in U.S.-Cuban relations attest to that abiding obsession with the island...from the Spanish-American War, the Cuban Revolution, the Bay of Pigs attack, the Mafia, the Embargo, Batista, the Blockade, etc., etc., etc. In that Milieu, from the 1770s till 2022, the island nation of Cuba probably says in totality more about the United States than any other event or relationship says about the USA. Not trusting the U. S. media to tell the truth perhaps had its origin decades or even centuries ago when Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and others rated gaining control of Cuba as a top U. S. priority, such as in the 19th century when the USA's two top newspaper publishers used "Yellow Journalism" to promote the desperate need to concoct and win the Spanish-American War in Cuba, etc. Now in April of 2022 anyone who trusts the mainstream U. S. media to write or speak a truthful word about U.S.-Cuban relations is either a certified idiot or a massive political/economic benefactor of gruesome policies such as the U. S. Embargo/Blockade that, for over six decades, has been designed to starve and deprive families on the island of Cuba to benefit a few rich people in the nearby United States. Yet, incredibly, one mainstream U. S. journalist who dispenses truthful information about Cuban issues happens to be...Andrea Rodriguez. For years she has been stationed in Havana for the Associated Press...and, incredibly, she reports the truth -- good or bad or in between.
Although she works for the Associated Press, Andrea Rodriguez lives with or beside Cuban families and, uniquely among the U. S. media journalists, Andrea has the integrity and courage to write about the struggles Cuban families face while "struggling to get by."
While Fake News almost always dictates Cuban-related news in the United States, there is an exception -- the AP's Andrea Rodriguez. She keenly knows what is happening in Cuba and she astutely & honestly observes how such things as the Blockade, the Pandemic, Migration, etc., impact the lives of the most important people on the embattled island, the families who are..."struggling to get by."

April 20-2022: A Big Cuban Birthday

On April 20th of 1960 Miguel Diaz-Canel was born in Placetas, Cuba. So today -- April 20th of 2022 -- is the 62nd birthday for the President of Cuba.
So, the current President of Cuba was born after the triumph of Fidel Castro's Revolution.

Cuba Gets a U.S. Invite. WOW!!

The meeting is Thursday, April 21-2022

This map shows a long migrant route that thousands of desperate Cubans are making to reach their goal of crossing the Mexican border to get into the United States.

For almost three years now Cuba has loudly proclaimed that both the Trump & Biden administrations in Washington have been trying to take advantage of the COVID Pandemic to further tighten the 6-decade-old EMBARGO against the current generation of Cuban families on the island. Of course, Cuba doesn't expect the U. S. government nor the U. S. media nor the U. S. people to give a damn. Yet...incredibly...Cuba is stunned that this Thursday -- on April 21st, 2022 -- that the embargoed-blockaded island nation has been invited to discuss U.S.-Cuban issues in the United States.
And thus...today -- on April 19th-2022 -- the Cuban headlines inform the world that the U. S. wants to talk with Cuba about MIGRATION. The Miami Herald, of course, can be dismissed as anti-Cuba Fake News, but the London-based Reuters News Agency is worth reading.
The Reuters article above, unlike most of the Fake News U. S. media, reports fairly on how Cubans are now affecting the USA's southern border, which is being overwhelmed with massive immigrants, especially since Biden became President on January 20th, 2021. As shown above, 16,531 Cubans in one month were stopped at the border...but many came into the U. S. across the sieve that is now the U.S.-Mexican border. The Trump-Biden expansion of the Embargo has direly impoverished Cubans on the island and many are trying to migrate...illegally or legally...to the U. S., particularly trying to make it to the Cuban-mecca of Miami. While the Biden White House is being accused of purposely opening the border because it anticipates that most of the migrants will soon become Democratic, not Republican, voters in the USA's money-crazed two-party political system. But Cuba believes Biden believes Cubans tend to vote as Republicans so Biden is trying to send most of them back to Cuba...but Cuba is saying...you got 'em, you keep 'em!! Three times, in fact, Fidel Castro himself made it easy for Cubans who didn't like the Revolution to debark to the United States...including 125,000 during the Mariel Boatlift, many of them being what movies like Scarface claim were criminals and drug-kingpins that Castro purposely sent to Miami so he wouldn't have to deal with them in Cuba. In any case, apparently on April 21st-2022 the Biden White House wants to ask Cuba why it won't accept the return of the Cubans who have recently bolted the island for the freedom and riches of America!!

Cuba's highly respected Diplomat in charge of Affairs with the United States is Carlos Fernandez de Cossio. On April 18th-2022 he was surprised that the Biden White House called and actually invited Cuba to a meeting on Thursday --April 21st-2022 -- that actually will supposedly include input from Cuba. Incredible!! For more than five years during the administrations of Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden Cuban officials have never been consulted as 43 devastating U. S. sanctions have been added to the U. S. Embargo against Cuba that began in 1962 when the devastating Embargo began for the purpose of starving, depriving, and making miserable the Cubans on the island to induce them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government, which back in January of 1959 had overthrown the brutal U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship. Cossio, as he is known in Washington by that one-word name, has said, "In the last five years both Trump and Biden have severely increased the original 1962 goals of starving, depriving, and making miserable Cuban families to appease the ongoing goals of Cuban-Americans such as Rubio and Menendez whose wealth and power derives from unmercifully punishing totally innocent Cuban families, generation after generation. After six decades, perhaps it is time for the U. S. government to stop lying to the American people and the world about why it is profitable to starve and deprive Cuban families so their misery will please a few rich U. S. Cubans."
Washington journalists who are allowed to have unbiased thoughts about Cuba consider Cossio to be a pleasant, mild-mannered, and skilled diplomat...but in the past five years Trump and Biden have unleashed his fire. After President Obama visited Cuba and then had the guts to be the first U. S. leader to try to normalize relations with Cuba, and even re-opened the embassies in Havana and Washington, Cossio and 11 of his aides had to duck for cover when a Trump supporter fired 30 high-powered rifle bullets at and in the Cuban embassy building in Washington. Needless to mention, Cossio knows first-hand how much Trump, Rubio, Biden, and Menendez have drastically increased the USA's starvation-goals against Cuban families on the island to appease U. S. Cubans and their acolytes. Cossio, before becoming Cuba's top diplomat regarding U. S. Affairs, had carefully studied U.S.-Cuban Affairs: "From 1952 till 1959 the U. S. and the Mafia had raped and robbed Cuba, spawning the Cuban Revolution. Since 1959, to greedily regain that ability, the U. S. has tried to attack, assault, starve, deprive, and make miserable everyday Cuban families. Since the 1950s, it seems, the American people have been successfully told that is what a strong Democracy is supposed to do to the people in a much smaller neighboring nation."
Both the United States and Cuba know that the United States has tried to starve Cuba into submission ever since 1962 -- or since the Bay of Pigs military attack in April of 1961 failed to recapture Cuba for the Miami Cubans. And now in April of 2022 both the United States and Cuba know that one of the offshoots of the Embargo's starvation tactics against Cubans on the island is so many of them will try desperately to come to America!!!!
This Thursday -- on April 21st, 2022 -- the United States will hold a meeting to "discuss migration." Just speaking to Cuba is something the U. S. has failed to do since 1959, so it will be interesting to see if Carlos Fernandez de Sossio, or one of his top aides, will be allowed to actually express Cuba's position regarding the Embargo. Carlos, more than once, has repeated what he thinks: "We learn everyday that if you are the world's richest and most powerful nation you can do what ever the hell you want to do, especially against littler nations. But that doesn't make it right. The United States knows full well that using the Embargo and other means to starve, demean, and try to destroy everyday Cubans in Cuba epitomizes greed and genocide. Lying about those two facts to the world is wrong, but lying about it...decade after decade...to generations of Americans is, perhaps, the worse thing the United States democracy has done."
A powerful international Cuban diplomat named Johana Tablada is Cuba's Deputy Minister related to United States Affairs. If her boss Carlos de Cossio doesn't speak on April 21st-2022 with the U. S. officials, Johana is fully and forcefully capable of doing so.
This photo shows Cuba's U. S. expert Johana Tablada, 4th from the left in the polka-dot dress, with some of her colleagues. If afforded the chance, these Cubans would like to express their opinions about America...to Americans.
And so would non-government Cubans!

Giron Beach vs. Bay of Pigs

 April 1961 vs. April 2022

Exactly 61 years ago -- on April 17-18-19 of 1961 -- the Bay of Pigs Invasion against Cuba took place as the United States launched an air-land-and-sea attack at Cuba's Giron Beach to recapture the coveted island. The sea invasion above followed the devastating destructions of Cuban airports by U. S. bombers. Revolutionary Cuba shocked the world by defeating the assault, just as the Cuban Revolution had shocked the world back on January 1st of 1959 by overthrowing the U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship that had robbed and brutalized the island unmercifully from 1952 till 1959.
After incredibly warding off the Bay of Pigs military attack in April of 1961, Revolutionary Cuba was subjected to the USA's continued and massive efforts to regain control of Cuba, including terror acts, assassination attempts, and various other methods that failed to subdue the island. And then...the U. S. in 1962 started an economic Embargo against Cuba that, according to de-classified U. S. documents, was meant to starve, deprive, and make miserable the Cuban people to induce them to rise up and overthrow their own Revolutionary government. But that too has not worked. Yet, since 1962 the Embargo indeed has starved, deprived, and made miserable the Cubans on the island...while rich Cubans in the U. S. keep getting richer and richer. And that is why...as shown above...the billboard says that the 6-decade-old Blockade constitutes "the longest/largest genocidal assault in history."
Yet, as the international Cuban headlines today  -- on April 18-2022 -- blatantly herald as shown above confirm, the world is consistently told that rich people in a Superpower nation are justified in trying to starve people in a much-Smaller nation for six decades...and counting!! And, incredibly, when nations in Europe, South Africa, Mexico, India, etc., try to help those starving souls in Cuba such nations are criticized and accused of vile deeds...apparently so as not to displease the very influential rich and powerful nation that is starving the poor people in the weak nation.
Perhaps the most asinine article that started circulating around the globe on April 17-2022 was the one above that "shamed" the European Union for trying to help Cubans starving because of the infamous and endless Embargo/Blockade. The article above was written by a "journalist" named Michael Curzon.

WONDERFUL!!
