Still Cherished EXCEPT Regarding Cuba!

     While Freedom of the Press, at least in theory, remains a hallmark of the U. S. democracy, there is no longer even a pretense of that precious axiom when it comes to Cuban issues. That has been so since the Cuban Revolution in January of 1959 miraculously overthrew the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship only to see it quickly resettled on U. S. soil with a new capital, Little Havana in the heart of nearby Miami. Most Cuban exiles, like newsman Emilio Milian, were decent Cuban-Americans but since 1959 a handful of not-so-decent Cubans have dictated the exile government, which the Bush dynasty made sure had a firm foothold solidly planted in Washington beginning in the 1980s. Thus, when Emilio Milian took to the airways in Miami to vehemently denounce extreme and unchecked Cuban-American terrorism against innocent Cubans, Emilio, not unexpectedly, was the victim of a favorite Cuban-exile weapon in Miami -- a car bomb. It is surely to this day politically incorrect to say so but Emilio's fate, I believe, left the desired message: Any media source in the U. S. that criticizes Counter Revolutionary Cubans, or speaks or writes positively about Revolutionary Cuba, will be the ones held accountable for their actions.

YET........

    ..........the photo above proves there are media sources outside of the USA still brave enough even to feature positive stories about the fascinating island of Cuba...even in March of 2019 when Cuban extremists in Miami, Newark, and Washington are totally convinced their dominance of the TRUMP presidency is enabling them to finally recapture Cuba by the time spring rolls around. The photo above illustrated a major article this week in the Toronto State entitled: "Auto Body Workshops Are Now Free Enterprise Operations In Cuba And Very Popular." Americans are not supposed to know such simple truths and Counter Revolutionary profiteers like Sen. Rubio from Little Havana would cringe if they knew Americans might read such an article that has been available online to read since March 6, 2019. In fact, this insightful article will, I think, fascinate Americans brave enough to dial it up because it updates another remarkable Cuban story. CHECK THIS OUT:

       This is the absolutely remarkable Jardines Bridge that extends 48 kilometers {29.8 miles} off the north-central coast of mainland Cuba to Cuba's and the Caribbean's most beautiful smaller islands. Even as Cuba deals with the 6-decade-old U. S. embargo, which is being strengthened each day now by the ruthless and unchecked Little Havana choirboy Rubio, the Cuban government is pouring resources into this bridge, as the updated Toronto Star article explains.

     The Jardines del Rey bridge leads from mainland Cuba to gorgeous and pristine smaller island that the Toronto Star says are now "Cuba's fastest growing tourism destination." WOW! I didn't know that but at least I was brave enough to read the article, which added: "Tourism is the country's main source of income and Canadians account for 40 percent of all foreign visitors to Cuba."

      In addition to pouring money & pesos into that sensational bridge, the airport on the magnificent CAYO COCO ISLAND is also being spruced up and modernized.

     If you drive across that incredible Jardines del Rey bridge or fly into that newly modernized Cayo Coco airport, you can stay at 5-star Iberostar Hotels and from there, as shown above, walk to perhaps the world's most still-pristine popular beach. The Toronto Star article on March 6-2019 said: "At Cayo Coco there are 5,000 luxury rooms on the island and 5,000 more under construction."

  

       Here's a map that shows you how that fantastic Jardines del Rey bridge extends 29.8 miles from the Cuban mainland to those fantastic smaller islands such as Cayo Coco. As a group those island are known as Los Cayos de Villa Clara because, as you see on the map, the bridge originates outside the town of Remedios in Villa Clara Province.

     This map gives you an overall perspective of Santa Clara Province in north-central Cuba leading out to those incredibly pristine and beautiful smaller islands such as...Cayo Las Brujas, Cayo Santa Maria, Cayo Guillermo, and Cayo Coco.

       EVERY SINGLE DAY IN THE UNITED STATES, Marco Rubio is afforded totally and unchecked access to the network TV channels as well as the mainstream printed media to tell propagandized Americans self-serving lies about Cuba in March of 2019 while also saying OR IMPLYING that the Batista-Mafia dictatorship from 1952 till 1959 was a sweet Mother Teresa-type democracy that must be returned "to help the Cuban people." A weakened mainstream U. S. media that is too afraid not to provide that daily forum for the likes of Rubio is, I believe, more punishing to "the Cuban people" than the war-mongers in the Trump administration who are being given free-reins to try to use the U. S. treasury and the U. S. military to starve and to eviscerate "the Cuban people" for the purpose, OF COURSE, of "HELPING the Cuban people."

     And that takes us back to Emilio Milian. The car-bomb in Miami that silenced Emilio was intended to keep the media from criticizing even horrendous terrorist acts against innocent Cubans. It also, I think, silenced U. S. citizens who have simply, by and large, not had the courage, the decency, or the patriotism to support the ideals that Emilio so bravely stood for. THAT WHY today...in March of 2019...Miami Cubans like Sen. Marco Rubio and Florida sycophants like Sen. Rick Scott dictate America's Cuban narratives and America's Cuban policies to suit their economic and political whims. {Revenge is no longer the Miami Motivting Factor; but Money & Power are}. And that, MY DEMOCRACY-LOVING FRIENDS, leaves not only Emilio Milian silent but it also leaves several million Cuban-Americans just as decent as he was also silent.

USA Resembles Batista's Cuba

A LASTING Bush/Trump Legacy!!

   Since January 1, 1959, Revolutionary Cuba has somehow survived as a sovereign nation, even beyond the death at age 90 of Fidel Castro on November 25, 2016. That survival is even more astounding than the triumph of the Cuban Revolution itself because the ousted Batista-Mafia dictatorship quickly found a new capital -- Little Havana in Miami right across the Florida Straits from Havana. Thus, supported by the same right-wing thugs in Washington who had sicced the Mafia on Cuba in 1952, Batistiano-controlled Little Havana became what Batista-controlled Havana had been -- namely, a cesspool of drugs, crime, and Mafiosi-like mayhem fueled by greed. For over six decades, as the Batistiano government in Little Havana extended its reach to Washington, the USA-backed effort to recapture Cuba has been uppermost among the fervent desires of the Little Havana exiles, but secondary to the overall desire -- which is to get rich, very RICH. To their surprise, beginning in 1959 the Counter Revolutionary Cubans realized first-hand that the USA had a lot more easily available money than Batista's Cuba. But on the heels of that realization was an BIGGER SURPRISE, which was an amazing Fact -- the Batista-Mafia friends still in Washington would make the USA dollars EASY PICKINGS. And that's where we are today in March of 2019 as another generation of Counter Revolutionary Cubans in Little Havana have their best chance since 1959 of still eating their cake, the money, but now also relishing their secondary priority -- RECAPTURING CUBA.

    Cuba now has a new President, former Education Minister Miguel Diaz-Canel. The USA has another Republican President, Donald Trump. Since the 1950s all six Republican presidents have been tightly aligned with the Batista/Batistiano extremists. But in order to grab a niche within the bowels of the U. S. democracy, the transplanted Batistianos needed to be aligned with a powerful entity that could and would share in an unholy alliance with mutually beneficial economic and political rewards. That nexus paired Little Havana with the Bush dynasty, a pairing that has everlastingly reshaped the U. S. democracy...and that nexus set the stage for the current Republican presidency, Trump's, to be the ONE that finally allows the Little Havana extremists to have their CAKE and EAT IT TOO. Now...permit me to be politically and socially incorrect while I explain the basic truths depicted above.

     The Bush dynasty nexus with Cuban extremists did not start in Little Havana with the two-term presidency of George W. Bush. It started THREE GENERATIONS earlier with the controversial patriarch Prescott Bush and then became indelible with THE FIRST Bush World War II hero, CIA Director, two-term Vice President, and one-term President George H. W. Bush. And then it was the two-term George W. Bush presidency, which actually began as a sweet gift from Little Havana in 2000, that codified the dire political influence of Little Havana on the USA landscape. The photo above is just one undeniable confirmation of that Bush dynasty progression. President Bush appointed John Bolton to the historically prestigious position as U. S. Ambassador to the UN. But it was a Bush joke that insulted America and Democracy. As a well-known U.S. war-monger, Bush knew Bolton could never get the necessary Senate approval, so it was a "recess appointment," meaning Bush withdrew the appointment before it could come up for Senate approval. Among other nefarious things, Bolton formulated pretexts, excuses, trying to persuade President Bush to make an all-out attack on Cuba. However, even Bush didn't QUITE go that far.

     NOW FAST-FORWARD TO March of 2019. The latest U. S. Republican President, Trump, has appointed Bolton as NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER. That, unfortunately, is a powerful war-mongering position that DOES NOT require Senate approval. And, to sate his long-standing desire to execute a regime-change in Cuba, there is now nothing holding Bolton back, certainly not Trump who badly needs the Little Havana extremists to {1} keep the Democrats in Congress from impeaching him; and {2} to help get him re-elected to a second presidential term in 2020. THUS, by the spring of 2019 John Bolton expects to be able to return Cuba to the Cuban extremists in Little Havana.

      As shown above, John Bolton, as Trump's new point-man on Wars, went to Miami and, as far as Cubans, Cuban-Americans, and other observers are concerned, officially declared war on the island.

       Even the mainstream left-wing U. S. media that is trying so hard to impeach Trump does not have the guts to challenge Little Havana's dictation of the TRUMP presidency. But other braver inside sources knew from the beginning that, once anointed by TRUMP, John Bolton's war-mongering would pay lip-service to Iran and other anti-American hot-spots but ALWAYS Bolton would be sure to come back to his long-desired regime-change in Cuba. Study the brilliant Editorial Cartoon above by the great Carlos Latuff that depicts the war-mongering Bolton with buzzard wings as he checks back with TRUMP to make sure he still has permission to launch his "WAR" that will likely involve Venezuela and Nicaragua but, as always, lead back to Bolton's "WAR" priority -- Cuba.

     Of course, the great Carlos LaTuff who correctly nailed the significance of TRUMP'S war-mongering appointment of JOHN BOLTON, also crafted the world-famed image above. This LaTuff classic, beyond doubt, is the best world-wide image of America's incredible red-eyed greed that has ruled the USA's thirst for Cuba...from the concocted Spanish-American War in 1898; to the theft of Guantanamo Bay in 1903; to siccing the Mafia on Cuba in 1952 so rich American businessmen could also get richer; to allowing the two most vicious Havana-born Little Havana Counter Revolutionaries {Jorge Mas Canosa and Lincoln Diaz-Balart} to dictate the extremely punitive but richly rewarding Helms-Burton Act in 1996; etc.; etc. All of those things, and so much more, inspired Carlos LaTuff to best define the USA's insatiable greed that still crowns its Cuban policies in alignment not with the moderate Cuban-Americans but only with a few extremists. Some Latin American experts, LaTuff included, believe it was no coincidence that in 1976, the only year a Bush has been CIA Director, that U. S. Cubans were involved in such things as the plane-bombing of Cubana Flight 455, the car-bombing of the decent Cuban-American newsman Emilio Milian in Miami, the Pinochet/Cuban-related car-bombing that killed Chilean diplomat Orlando Letelier and his beautiful and very young American aide Ronni Moffit within sound of the White House, etc., etc. {The underlined names are for your Google-search purposes in case you are interested enough to double-check}.

    Stating that the Cuban Revolution -- from the 1950s till today -- says a hell of a lot more about the United States than it says about Cuba is actually an understatement. In March of 2019 when yet another Republican U. S. President, Trump, takes all of his Cuban orders from regime-change/war-mongers like Rubio, Pompeo, and Bolton, the onus falls on us, the cowardly American people who have allowed it to happen. Thus, it is not just on the Republicans and the Cuban-Americans who continue to benefit from it so drastically both economically and politically. When the mainstream U. S. media and another generation of Americans don't have the guts to call a spade a spade, it's America's problem more than it's Cuba's problem. And, folks, the four-person montage shown above is a SPADE. And...a spade IS a spade.

    This photo posted on Facebook March 6th-2019 shows four young broadcast journalists in Havana enjoying "Happy Hour" at a favorite club. They are happy and healthy young-adult Cubans. They had totally free educations from kindergarten through college and they've had totally free health care all their lives. There are many young-adult Americans struggling to pay-off $1.4 TRILLION DOLLARS in Student Loans that benefit rich bankers and rich universities. And there are millions of Americans struggling to find affordable health care as the price of drugs, hospital care, etc., is astronomically high to benefit rich Americans and the politicians they can buy-off. Meanwhile, Cuba has invented many of the world's best cancer and diabetic drugs that some great people, such as Candace Johnson at the famed Rockwell Cancer Institute, are trying to access despite the U. S. embargo. And, oh yes, Cuba has a lower infant-mortality-rate than the United States and practically no crime and no illegal drug problems, and police shootings are unheard of. And this week the International Bloomberg Health Index rates poor little, embargoed-for-six-decades Cuba FIVE SLOTS above the United States because of its "its free and excellent health-care for all with an emphasis on preventative care." Meanwhile, with the likes of Little Havana's Marco Rubio in charge of the Cuban narrative in the U. S., Americans are told "we must strengthen the embargo and punish all nations even more if they trade with Cuba because every dime or peso that reaches Cuba goes into the Castro bank account." Of course, only idiots and/or cowards believe such propaganda...but it appears America now has about 325 million idiots and/or cowards.

    This photo shows two of those broadcast journalists -- talented and influential television news anchors Rosy Amaro Perez and Yanet Perez Moya -- enjoying a recent concert. They are also passionate about baseball, etc. Healthy, well educated and smart, Rosy & Yanet...have traveled extensively and, like almost every young-adult Cuban now, they have access to Smart Phones and the Internet. For example, this week they monitored a U. S. network broadcast...it happened to be on the anti-Cuban Fox Network...that reported that the USA has such drastic problems with "drugs, alcohol, crime, and suicide" that, for the first time since records have been kept, the USA population is in decline. AND THE IMAGE ABOVE OF ROSY AND YANET AT THE CONCERT. Their startled reaction is as if someone had just asked them, "Hey, have you heard? Rubio just got Title 3 of Helms-Burton activated and he thinks he and the other Little Havana Cubans will be in charge of Havana and all of Cuba by springtime?" Now, after pondering that question, go back and study the reaction from Rosy and Yanet. For sure, they know all about Batista's Cuba and they don't want any part of Rubio's Cuba, although Rubio can go on U. S. network television 24-hours-a-day and insist that Cubans want the sweet U.S.-backed Batistianos to return to their island. That, of course, is not so and that is precisely why Rubio still wants Americans to be the only people in the  world without the freedom to visit Cuba. Such visits, of course,  would afford Americans the opportunity to judge the island, and Cubans like Rosy and Yanet, for themselves.

USA's Cuban Regime-Change

     As of Sunday night, March 3rd, 2019, it became known that America's most-famed war-monger, John Bolton, has finally secured permission from President Trump to execute Bolton's long-desired regime-changes in both Cuba and Nicaragua, the two nations along with Venezuela that Bolton labels the "Troika of Tyranny." Bolton's regime-change in Cuba starts today -- Monday, March 4th, 2019, when Title 3 of the infamous 1996 Batistiano-written Helms-Burton Act is employed by Trump at the behest of Bolton. Since 1996 NOT EVEN THE BATISTIANO-ALIGNED GEORGE W. BUSH PRESIDENCY dared activate TITLE 3 for Bolton. But, of course, Bolton lucked-out with Donald Trump as the U. S. President. Now totally convinced that U.S.-backed Juan Guaido will replace Nicolas Maduro as President of Venezuela, Bolton has already turned his attention to Cuba.

    Meanwhile, in Cuba President Miguel Diaz-Canel in recent days has taken to the streets {above} and on state-wide television & radio as well as his Twitter page to alert the Cuban people to the "impending Title 3 sanction assault followed by a military assault on our island. We remain, of course, underdogs but we will never run. Please accept that."

Venezuela Regime-Change Eminent

Maduro's Rule Doomed!!

   The above photo explains why President Nicolas Maduro's rule in Venezuela is down to hours, not days. The U.S.-backed and self-proclaimed President Juan Guaido is shown in lock-step with Colombian President Ivan Duque and American Vice President Mike Pence. Significantly, the photo was taken at the U.S.-sponsored military base in Bogota, Colombia. With the USA surrounding Venezuela with two prime military proxies Colombia and Brazil all along Venezuela's borders, today -- SUNDAY, March 3, 2019 -- signals "Case Closed" for Maduro. Duque Sunday called Maduro's leadership of Venezuela "a Mafioso government." Duque represents a vast tilt in Latin America to U.S.-friendly/economically aligned conservative Presidents like Duque and U.S.-friendly right-wing Presidents like Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil. And with USA President Trump allowing well-known right-wing/regime-change extremists Elliott Abrams and John Bolton to direct the regime-change in Venezuela, there is little doubt that Abrams and Bolton will next target Cuba and then Nicaragua. Afterward, of course, it will be left up to post-Trump U. S. governments to deal with the Latin American quagmire Abrams and Bolton are now orchestrating. USA military involvement on its back-porch will be interesting...and long-lasting. Batten down the hatches. Americans who love the two-decades-old war in Afghanistan WILL REALLY LOVE a long-standing war in their backyard. Tax-dollars are READY.

Venezuelan Showdown Sunday?

    The photo above shows Venezuela's self-proclaimed and U.S.-backed President Juan Guaido in Salinas, Ecuador, on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. He had a very supportive meeting with Ecuadoran President Lenin Moreno on his tour that has also taken him to Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Tomorrow, Sunday-March 3rd, Guaido plans to return to Venezuela for a showdown with President Nicolas Maduro.

    Supported by the U. S. and about 50 other nations, it is surprising that Guaido hasn't supplanted Maduro ALREADY. That is so because it is impossible for Maduro to justify blocking tons of food, medicine, and other supplies that Venezuelans badly need. As of this weekend, it is reported that 567 Venezuelan soldiers have defected to Guaido's side but that leaves some 200,000 soldiers and the key Generals still loyal to Maduro although all of them are targeted by new USA sanctions and threats. Yet, because of the USA's past imperialist and violent history in creating U.S.-friendly Latin American governments, some neutral nations resent the leadership roles U.S.-famed war-mongers such as John Bolton and Elliott Abrams are taking in the Venezuelan crisis. Also, Maduro is not entirely off-base when he insists that the U. S. agency, USAID, that is primarily delivering the Venezuela aid is a U. S. entity  many believe is now directed by anti-Cuban forces determined to use the Venezuelan crisis as a pretext to regaining control of Cuba...a fact documented by respected journalist Tracey Eaton this week when he reported on a myriad of fresh U. S. government and USAID programs offering huge monetary sums to people, groups, or organizations that promise to promote new anti-Cuban/"pro-Democracy" unrest on the island. All the while, Guaido and Maduro this first weekend in March of 2019 continue to call each other "illegitimate usurpers" and, incredibly, much of the sane and more peaceful world believes both men have aptly defined each other.

    None-other than Elliott Abrams, shown above denouncing Venezuela at the United Nations, has been ubiquitous this weekend presenting the USA's case against Maduro, especially on conservative and right-wing media such as Fox News. That is a stupid ploy by President Trump and his anointed Latin American puppet Marco Rubio.

     The day {above} when Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Elliott Abrams was the new "U. S. envoy to Venezuela" was a day that sent shivers down the spine of many people who do not want a Latin American War in America's backyard. Pompeo himself is a long-time anti-Cuban zealot but, like Trump, he takes his Latin American orders from Marco Rubio. Thus, Rubio has maneuvered no less than ten vicious anti-Cuban zealots into powerful positions in the Trump presidency, none more feared than Elliott Abrams.

     It is no secret why Elliott Abrams was still around and eligible to be named Trump's ENVOY TO VENEZUELA...and that's because of the pardon Abrams badly needed and very conveniently received from President George H. W. Bush.

      All Republican administrations since 1959 have been tightly tied to the most extreme elements of the Batista exiles who still, after all these decades, are trying fervently to wrest control of Cuba from the still viable Cuban Revolution. That particularly was true of the four Republican Presidents depicted above -- Nixon, Reagan, Bush #1, and Bush #2...and particularly applies to George H. W. Bush dating all the way back to his first involvements with the CIA that preceded his one controversial year, 1976, as the CIA director. Any perusal of the prime names from these past Republican presidencies now prime zealots in the Trump presidency will reveal that Trump is surrounded in powerfully strategic positions today by the most vicious anti-Cuban extremists such as Otto Reich, Jose Cardenas, Mauricio Claver-Carone, and John Bolton. Yet, the most outrageous appointment by Trump-Rubio has to be...Elliott Abrams. {P.S.: This weekend CNN is debuting a major documentary about the "Bush Dynasty" but I will assure you it will not hold the Bush Dynasty responsible or accountable for its decades of supporting and benefiting from its unholy alliances with the most extremist elements from the Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Havana and in Little Havana}.

   Allowing the Nicolas Maduro-Venezuelan crisis to be brokered by Elliott Abrams reflects the audacious stupidity of Rubio being allowed to direct Trump's Latin American and Cuban policies. But beyond that, it points out that the U. S. citizens and the mainstream {non-right wing} U. S. media are grossly derelict in their duties when they permit this to happen...and what is happening is extreme war-mongering/anti-Cuban elements from past Republican administrations grossly infesting the current TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.

     The biggest single problem within the bowels of the U. S. democracy in March-2019 is depicted above -- Senator Rubio being able to tell President Trump how he wants to recapture Cuba, using...at the moment...the Venezuelan crisis as the prime pretext. A Rubio problem, I believe, is more dangerous to America and to Latin America than a Trump problem. And the biggest problem of all right now is the pure fact that neither most American citizens nor the mainstream American media have the guts to admit that the photo above depicts A GIGANTIC AMERICAN PROBLEM.

USA vs. Latin America

The History Shames The USA!!

       U. S. President Donald Trump flew all the way to Communist Vietnam this week to offer his friend Chairman Kim, the Communist dictator of North Korea, a TREMENDOUS DEAL: If Kim would forsake his nuclear weapons, the USA would not only drop its stifling economic sanctions but also help Communist North Korea become the financial success that Communist Vietnam has become since that now-thriving nation became united after defeating the USA in the bloody Vietnam War that usurped USA blood and treasure from the 1960s into the 1970s. WONDERFUL!!! But Kim turned Trump's sweet offer down, so it was "No Deal." That journey to Hanoi was 12,000 miles. But 100 miles off the eastern coast of the USA no Republican president is allowed to talk with the island of Cuba while ALWAYS...since January of 1959...trying to starve, terrify, attack, etc., Cuba for the purpose of returning control of the island back over to the current capital of the BATISTA-MAFIA DICTATORSHIP, which now happens to be Little Havana in Miami, Florida. Since 1959 Americans have been propagandized not to consider such basic facts but we are daily proselytized to pretend there is no sub-government, or transplanted dictatorship, within the bowels of the USA democracy. But, truth be told, that's where we are today -- in the first week of March, 2019.

      The "Crisis in Venezuela" portrays Venezuela's embattled President Nicolas Maduro as heartless {and desperate} for refusing badly needed food, medicine, and other necessities from reaching destitute citizens in that oil-rich Latin American nation. And that perception is correct.

    But there is another perception that is also correct: The history of the USA's imperial and even genocidal lust to dominate Latin America should rule out another Republican administration in Washington, TRUMP'S, from influencing any potential solution to the Venezuela Crisis. There is a MYRIAD of less-biased negotiators.

    This session at the United Nations on Thursday -- Feb. 28, 2019 -- addressed the Venezuelan Crisis. The 15-nation Security Council, led by the U. S., voted 13-to-2 to end the Maduro government and replace it, supposedly, with a U.S.-friendly government. But the two dissenting votes -- from Russia and China -- were enough to block/veto that ruling. While the UN is the logical body to broker international disputes, the fact that a handful of powerful nations have veto power negates the UN's effectiveness. For example, also Thursday the supreme U. S. ally, Israel, was widely condemned by the UN for "crimes against humanity" in a ruling that said Israel fatally shot innocent Palestinians including "children." Like Thursday's Russia and China veto regarding Venezuela, the U.      At yesterday's UN session, this is Venezuela's and Maduro's Ambassador to the UN, Samuel Moncada, vividly pointing a finger at the United States for instigating "another genocidal coup in our region." He also said, "The threats against peace in Venezuela come from abroad, meaning Miami and Washington, and it is the U. S. sanctions and the coup-meddling USAID, posing as a sanctimonious humanitarian organization, that is harming and trying to starve the Venezuelan people." Yesterday's image of Maduro's man, Samuel Moncada, speaking so forcefully at the United Nations is interesting...because most people expected both Maduro and Moncada to have been eliminated BY NOW.

     But this image at the United Nations explains why the U. S. being perceived as orchestrating the solution of the Venezuelan Crisis is not likely to be either bloodless or short-lived -- or minus continuing revolts or revolutions. This is Elliott Abrams who has INCREDIBLY been named by President Trump as "America's Special Envoy to Venezuela." While Americans are not supposed to know why President George H. W. Bush pardoned Abrams, Latin Americans believe that Abrams was tightly tied to some of the most genocidal atrocities in Latin America's history, including one of the region's all-time most egregious massacres of men, women, children, and babies. American citizens and even the left-wing mainstream U. S. media may be too afraid to question Trump's "Special Envoy to Venezuela" but, believe me, even U.S.-friendly Latin American nations cringe just to think about it. Also, Abrams is a vivid reminder that perhaps the ten still-living most anti-Cuban zealots from the Bush dynasty...such as Abrams, John Bolton, Otto Reich, Mauricio Claver-Carone, Jason Poblete, Jose Cardenas, etc., etc...have been maneuvered into a cabal by unchecked anti-Cuban zealot Marco Rubio to dictate the Trump administration's policies regarding Latin America and, especially, regarding CUBA, which is Rubio's obsession. Heading into this weekend, for example, it appears that Poblete and Cardenas are doing handstands about Trump putting Cuba on the Sponsors of Terrorism list and activating Title Three of the Batistiano-driven {Havana-born Jorge Mas Canosa and Havana-born Lincoln Diaz-Balart} and infamous Helms-Burton Bill. Not even the Little Havana-aligned Bush presidencies went that far but now that Trump has resurrected long-ago extremists such as Elliott Abrams, Poblete, Cardenas, and their ilk, THEY have reason to be doing handstands heading into the first weekend in March-2019.

    This photo of Juan Guaido, the self-ordained and U.S.-backed President of Venezuela, shown with U. S. Vice President Mike Pence also sends some shivers down the spines of some Latin Americans. History registers the fact that Republican administrations since the 1950s have all proclaimed the USA's dire need to force DEMOCRACY on Latin American nations WHILE all the while supporting and in some cases installing murderous U.S.-friendly dictators such as...Batista in Cuba, Trujillo in the Dominican Republic, Somoza in Nicaragua, Videla in Argentina, Pinochet in Chile, etc., etc. As a democracy-loving American, I wish that was not so, but it is.

    Meanwhile, President Trump has just returned from Communist Vietnam where he met again with his beloved Communist dictator Chairman Kim, promising Kim as the world watched that the U. S. would help Communist North Korea become the "fantastic economic success" that Communist Vietnam has become since winning the Vietnam War. Well, folks, that also reminds the world that in the 1950s the U. S. didn't win the bloody Korean War AND in the 1960s and 1970s the U. S. didn't win the bloody Vietnam War...despite vast costs to the U. S. in both blood, treasure, and reputation. Also, in support of Batista and the Mafia, the U. S. didn't win the Cuban Revolutionary War that ended way back on January 1, 1959. So...you might ask...what is the difference from the U. S. perspective today between KOREA, VIETNAM, and CUBA? Well, the short and accurate answer is this: No overthrown dictatorship in Korea or Vietnam or anywhere else ever fled to U. S. soil and...quickly and permanently...reestablished itself within the bowels of the U. S. democracy.
