Cuba In the Coronavirus Era

Amid the Trump Blockade!!
The photo above taken in mid-March of 2020, I believe, is emblematic of Cuba in the age of the Coronavirus pandemic and the continuing cruel intensification of the US-Trump blockade against the sovereign Caribbean island. This image shows my friend Maite Romero Padron and seven other young, well-trained, dedicated female doctors at their hospital in the city of Ciego De Avila, Cuba. These eight medical experts are in the vanguard of Cubans trying to protect Cubans against the Coronavirus and other illnesses. Of course, these young doctors are greatly assaulted by the U. S. blockade being fiercely administered by a handful of Counter Revolutionary U. S. Cubans authorized self-servingly by President Trump. Of course, the asinine attempt of genocide is not opposed by neither the American people nor the mainstream U. S. media. And that, of course, reflects much more tellingly on the nearby Superpower than it defines Cuba.
This Wikipedia map shows the location of Ciego De Avila, a city of 119,000 totally innocent Cubans who do not deserve to be victims of a few very greedy Cuban-Americans who have the support of the U. S. President and the U. S. Congress to commit atrocities against Cubans on the island. Ciego De Avila in the heart of Central Cuba is where young Doctor Maite Romero Padron, my friend, and her colleagues shown above are doing their best to provide medical services to the citizens of Ciego De Avila. Their prime enemies in Little Havana/Miami, Newark, and in the U. S. Congress have no shame as they profit economically and politically in the United States from administrating suffering to far better humans on the nearby, vulnerable island of Cuba.
Meanwhile, this photo was taken today -- Saturday, March 14th, 2020 -- and it shows Cubavision International journalist Rosy Amaro Perez interviewing the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel. The two topics, of course, were the Coronavirus and the U. S. blockade -- now intertwined subjects in Cuba.
