Mid-September 2023 & Cuba Mounts Survival Fight

With More HELP THAN EVER BEFORE!!

This weekend -- on September 16th-17th, 2023 -- Cuba is hosting the G77 Summit in Havana. It consists of 77 members but a total of 132 nations are represented PLUS the head of the United Nations. This weekend Presidents such as Alberto Fernandez of Argentina, Gustavo Petro of Colombia, etc., have loudly and forcefully denounced the U. S. Embargo that has attempted to starve the Cuban economy since 1962, with many of the leaders now terming the "interminable cruelty by a strong nation against vulnerable masses of people in a smaller nation endlessly shameful and, also, insane."
But, perhaps, Mia Mottley -- the Prime Minister of Barbados since 2018 -- unleased the most vicious denunciation of the United States Embargo against "succeeding generations of Cuban families that have the right to breathe, the right to like their revolutionary government if they so desire, and the right not to be starved to death by a neighbor that happens to be the richest and strongest nation in the world."
Normally, since the Cuban Revolution in 1959 chased the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship out of Havana to Little Havana in Miami, the mainstream Media has painted Revolutionary Cuba as terrible while implying that what preceded it was incredibly wonderful. But the cruelty of the U.S. Embargo since 1962 has finally, it seems, shown that the rest of the region and the world should also be allowed to express opnions about it. Above you can see that ABC News and the Associated Press actually combined a massively truthful report on this weekend's G77 Summit in Havana that is actually being supported by 132 nations. As you see above, the mainstream media even was honest about what Mia Mottley said that resonated loudly and unanimously at the Summit: "Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley railed against the U. S. Embargo on Cuba in her speech, calling it 'callous and brutal.' She also called Cuba a beacon among developing nations in innovations through science and technology. 'With little, you have done much,' she said." Also note above that ABC News and the Associated Press even quoted Mia Mottley denoucing the extreme dishonesty about Cuba by the U. S. when she warned that "accountability and transparency are needed {regarding Cuba} so that Democracy doesn't unravel." In other words, speaking for the 132 nations in Havana this weekend, Mia Mottley warned that the U. S. Embargo against Cuba and other such "atrocities" not only hurt Cuban families but also hurt Democracy too.
And both privately and publicly when she met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley said, "What the United States is doing to starve Cuban families is also starving Democracy and all other forms of governments that are trying to treat masses of citizens fairly."
Also during this important Mid-September of 2023 Weekend in Havana, Cuba's President Diaz-Canel warmly greeted Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations in New York. Guterres said, "It should not be denied that hundreds of other developing nations have looked to Cuba for guidance and leadership, and in 2023 that is still the case. I arrived in Havana to remind the world, from my perch at the United Nations where I have been critical of Cuba, that the good Cuba does should not be swept under the rug just because to do so benefits any stronger nation. Developing nations should not be punished to benefit richer nations."
If this image has benefited the richer nation since 1962, the smaller nation on September 15th, 16th, and 17th now seems to have the support of the rest of the world to end it.

Cuba Today Shows How It Will Beat US Blockade

 September 15th, 2023!!!!

Today -- SEPTEMBER 15TH-2023 -- the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, used headphones to listen to dozens of key leaders from the region and around the world who -- in many different languages -- expressed massive support for the Cuban people and massive denunciation of the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of the island that began in 1962 and recently has been tightened. Above both President Diaz-Canel and millions of Cubans on live national and regional television heard this exact theme as articulated by Argentina's President Alberto Fernandez: "At shameful times in history the world has allowed vicious and strong people in powerful nations to starve or otherwise destroy weaker people in much less powerful nations. The prime example for this shame in modern times has been the U. S. economic blockade of Cuba, and a cowardly world has allowed it to persist. At last, the world should show some guts on behalf of the Cuban people...!!"

Today -- SEPTEMBER 15th-2023 -- Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel is a very busy man. He is hosting his own G77 Summit + China to bolster support from dozens of key nations around the world that are pledging to help the Caribbean island survive the tightened six-decade-old U. S. economic Embargo/Blockade that he says "is designed to starve Cuban families in the total manner that the word 'starve' means. I will show that the starvation of Cuban families, even by the Superpower United States, will not be allowed to continue forever." Yesterday and today, as the images below show, Cuba is providing red-carpet treatment for hundreds of foreign leaders.
And so...today and tomorrow -- Septermber 15th and 16th, 2023 -- Cuba is lavishly spending valuable time and money to try to make sure that dozens of key countries, plus a particular Superpower, will speak with one voice to finally demand that an endless and brutal economic blockade of Cuba by a nearby Superpower should finally end. Cumbre Del G77 Y China means Summit of G77 and China. The United States and the U. S. media, of course, will ignore this weekend's Cuban G-77 Summit and China but that doesn't mean it will not have an impact on combatting the longest and cruelest economic blockade that any large nation has ever imposed on any small nation.
On September 15th and 16th of 2023, Cuba's Summit G77 + China is trying to counteract the USA's Economic Blockade of the vulnerable Caribbean island. Which is worse...this weekend's Summit in Cuba or the six-decade-old Blockade from the USA??

Cuba Plans TO SURVIVE The U. S. Embargo

With the Strongest Effort Since 1962!!

Today -- on September 14th, 2023 -- the Cuban people are being told that President Diaz-Canel is launching the most extensive effort in the island's revolutionary history to survive the U. S. EMBARGO that began in 1962 to strangle Cuba's economy by strangling the Cuban people to enduce them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government that had overthrown the U.S./Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in 1959. President Diaz-Canel's massive approach to combat it in mid-September of 2023 includes Havana hosting what Diaz-Canel calls "Cuba G77 * 2023", which begins tomorrow in the Cuban capital. The images shown below reveal what inspired Diaz-Canel to devise Cuba G77 and it was Cuba's massive support at the recent BRICS Summit in South Africa led by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa but also included 72 other important nations that also displayed strong support for Cuba's efforts to end the endless U. S. EMBARGO. On his way to the BRICS Summit Diaz-Canel stopped off in five other countries and was greeted with red-carpet receptions, which surprised President Diaz-Canel...and inspired this weekend's Cuba G77 * 2023. Some of the photos below show some of the foreign leaders arriving in Havana since last night and some show Diaz-Canel's red-carpet treatment on the way to the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg:
Perhaps the President of Mozambique, FILIPE NYUSI, made the comment that inspired Cuba's President Diaz-Canel the most: "As Africa's most famed and most beloved Nelson Mandela said, three dozen African nations owe Cuba for their shedding the yoke of colonial imperialism and gaining our independence. Now in 2023 we need to help Cuba shed the yoke of the U. S. strangulation of Cuba's economy, a process that the world has cowardly allowed to exist for senseless decades."
Thus this weekend -- September 15th & 16th, 2023 -- Cuba is hosting a CUBA G77* 2023 Summit in Havana. President Filipe Nyusi of Mozamibique, and others leaders, hope the gathering will help convince the United States to finally end its EMBARGO of Cuba that has existed since 1962.

The US Is Perfect, Cuba Is The Opposite!!!

The Daily Refrain of the US Media!!

Today is Wednesday, September 12th, 2023. As usual in the United States the Media today reminds Americans that revolutionary Cuba is the worst nation in the world and that its leaders spend most of their time torturing and killing their citizens that disagree with them. Such blazing headlines/articles are a prime reason that history's worst and longest economic Embargo/Blockade of a small nation -- since 1962 till TODAY -- has existed for over three decades. The article shown above Today is in The Hill, a powerful Washington-based media source. It is written by Arturo McFields and, as shown above, it seems to show that Cuba routinely tortures and kills its citizens, implying that back in the 1950s when the brutal and theiving Batista dictatorship that ran roughshod but gloriously over the island that the Batista-Mafia-US rule of the island was wonderful fun and didn't deserve a revolution to change things. As a Democracy-loving American who has been to Cuba and purposely spent time, including sleepovers, with everyday Cuban families, I believe that the U. S. Media should sometimes balance out such unbiased articles such as Today's The Hill updated and normal damnation of Cuba with comments from Cubans in Cuba, especially someone that knows both Batista's Cuba and Revolutionary Cuba extremely well.
Cuba's long-time Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, for example, is well-respected by many U. S. journalists as he has for decades represented Revolutionary Cuba at the UN in New York and around the world. His reaction to articles such as the one in The Hill today is just as important and poignant as the damnable views Bruno monitors in the US Media regularly.
An everyday Cuban in Cuba, the Grandmother of this little girl and little boy, has opinions too and she expresses them often in Social Media platforms. She knows all about the US-beloved Batista's Cuba  and since 1959 she has lived in US-hated Revolutionary Cuba, and that Grandmother's opinions should be considered by the US Media that seems only to consider the opinions of those who have fond memories of Batista's Cuba and sheer hatred of Revolutionary Cuba. In that milieu, the Grandmother in Cuba in September of 2023 that wants Cuba to Live has opinions that are supported by most Grandmothers and Mothers all around the world in 2023!!!!
Although Americans who depend on the US Media would not realize it, most citizens of the entire world are ashamed about "The impact of US Sanctions on the Cuban population and women's lives" and most citizens of the entire world believe that masses of vulnerable and innocent citizens in small nations deserve the "RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT A BLOCKADE" imposed generation-after-generation by a much stronger and richer nation.
Yes, today -- on September 13th, 2023 -- Cuba's veteran Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez read and then commented about what The Hill in Washington published about Cuba: "I have lived a long time in Cuba and I have worked in the United States on behalf of the Cuban people, including at the United Nations. I once admired the U. S. media but it now shames both Cuba and the U. S. daily with extreme one-sided propaganda. If I told such lies to the Cuban people, I assure you that I would have been reprimanded by them severely. It amazes me that, in order to justify such disasters as the U. S. blockade of Cuba, the U. S. media on a daily basis lies to the American people...and that the American people, also to my surprise, are supposed to believe it. Yet today I have this poll from the well-respected Gallup Poll that shows 80% or more of the American people 'don't trust the U. S. media' but I guess they have enough money and enough government support to continue their lies as long as they choose. Meanwhile, another generation of Cuban familes suffer needlessly from such lies."

Why Does US Hate Cuba But Loves Vietnam???

For the past two days -- September 10th-11th, 2023 -- U. S. President Joe Biden has been in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.  Today my local newspaper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, had this front-page Headline: "Biden touts strong ties with country" and this sub-Headline: "Outreach to Hanoi about global stability." While President Biden makes a warm visit to communist Vietnam, Cubans in Cuba wonder why the U. S., which lost the long and bloody Vietnam War in Vietnam, now loves faraway Vietnam so much while hating nearby Cuba so much. Indeed, Vietnam in 2023 is sending shiploads of rice to Cuba because Vietnam, like most other nations around the world, feels sorry for three generations of Cubans in Cuba that have been starved, deprived, and made miserable by the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of Cuba that began in February of 1962 and which Cuba believes has been tightened recently by both the Trump and Biden administrations in Washington.
Above are headlines that reveal that Vietnam, the Asian communist nation that the U. S. loves, is direly worried about Cubans in Cuba being starved by the endless U. S. Embargo/Blockade if Cuba. Thus...Vietnam is sending as much rice to Cuba as it can, knowing that rice is Cuba's prime food.
And so...on September 11th of 2023 it is understandable to Cubans that their northern neighbor, the superpower United States, is tightening its cruel EMBARGO that is designed to starve the Cuban economy and thus starve the Cuban people...while the U. S. is loving communist Vietnam that is a strong U. S. trading partner.
In the 1960s and 1970s the U. S. fought and lost the bloody Vietnam War, at one point having hundreds of thousands of U. S. soldiers in the conflict while also dropping a vast number of bombs on Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. But the North Vietnam communists won the war on April 30th in 1975 when they captured the ancient capital city of Saigon that since 1975 has been unnamed as the entire nation became united under communist rule with Ho Chi Minh City in the south and Hanoi in the north becoming Vietnam's two prime cities. The map above shows Vietnam borders communist China, which is the top economic and military rival of the United States.
Meanwhile, in Havana today -- September 11, 2023 -- this photo shows a Cuban father brushing his son's hair before he heads off to school. While Americans are not supposed to ask why the U. S. loves Vietnam so much and hates Cuba so much, this Cuban father in Havana does ask such questions.
Just a few days ago the BRICS Summit was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. BRICS stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. But, as shown above, it included 72 other nations and all 77 expressed strong support for Cuba.
On his way to the BRICS Summit, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel received red-carpet welcomes in nations such as Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, etc.
Presidents Diaz-Canel of Cuba and Zi of China solidified their friendships at the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg and the overall support shown for Cuba by all the 77 nations in attendance inspired Diaz-Canel to create something he calls "G77 + China Summit" that will be held this coming weekend, on September 15th and 16th, 2023. Back in Havana from his recent trips, Diaz-Canel said, "I want the Cuban people to know that only the United States is trying to suppress our development, and we want to be friends with the United States too. That remains our hope."
On Social Media and on their modern television and radio stations across their island, Cubans voice their wonderment in September of 2023 about why the last two U. S. presidents -- Biden and Trump -- have tightened the U. S. Embargo against Cuba that had "already been tight" since 1962. Biden just visited faraway Vietnam and said some wonderful things; Trump visited faraway North Korea, where the U. S. lost another bloody war in the 1950s, and said some nice things. But neither Biden nor Trump would dare visit Cuba nor dare to say anything nice about Cuba, or even explain why a nation like Vietnam feels it has to donate tons of rice to keep Cuban families from starving because of the six-decade-old U. S. EMBARGO/BLOCKADE of the vulnerable island nation that is the U. S.'s neighbor.
Except for the United States, it seems that all other nations and all other Human Rights Organizations around the world believe that Cubans in Cuba HAVE A RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT A BLOCKADE.
