Taking Advantage of COVID Devastation in Cuba

      Today -- Friday, August 20th, 2021 -- Cuba's renowned doctor, Dr. Francisco Duran, made his daily update on the devastation that COVID-19 is exacting on the island: 78 new deaths and 9764 new cases.

     Meanwhile, while President Biden's disastrous decisions are creating havoc in Afghanistan and dominating the national news in the U. S., President Biden -- or those directing him -- took time today to add more attacks in the form of more genocidal sanctions against Cuba. This continues to reveal that a handful of only the most vicious Cuban-Americans -- Menendez, Rubio, and the leaders in Little Havana especially -- maintain total control of the Biden administration's Cuban policies even as Biden and his aides are absorbed with Afghan related problems. The August 20-2021 headlines above concern the vulnerability of Revolutionary Cuba to withstand the twin threats of COVID-19 and Little Havana as Cuban extremists in the U. S. enjoy their all-time supreme power in Washington.

     The best reporting on the U.S.-Cuba conundrum in August-2021 is  by Politico, the strong political voice in Washington. As you see above, yesterday -- August 19th -- Biden's Cuban-born Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas met ONLY "with prominent Cuban American activists here {Miami} and announced new sanctions on Cuban regime officials." In other words, as usual, the U. S. government allows only Little Havana/Miami Counter Revolutionary zealots to dictate America's Cuban policies.

      President Biden on January 20-2021 inherited 243 genocidal sanctions against Cuba from the previous Trump regime, but now -- as reported above by Politico -- Biden has not only kept all 243 of Trump's sanctions but now has imposed a blistering "fourth round" of his own genocidal sanctions on Cuban families on the island. This clearly proves that Little Havana/Miami Cubans, who had total control of Trump's genocide, now have total control of Biden's genocide too.

    And heading into this next to last weekend in August-2021, Politico above explained that "Trump's hardline approach" in using U. S. power to recapture Cuba has now been continued in the same genocidal fashion as Trump's. Trump led the Republican Party and Biden leads the Democratic Party; unfortunately the U. S. democracy only has a two-party political system. Since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in January of 1959 over the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship in Cuba, Little Havana/Miami has had total control of the Republican Party but now, for the first time, it now also has total control of the Democratic Party. That is because Little Havana controls Florida's vital 29 Electoral Votes that both the Republicans and the Democrats greedily crave!!

       Therefore, a cowardly generation of Americans didn't utter a peep when the United States in 1952 chose the Mafia as its partner in supporting the brutal, thieving Batista regime in Cuba. And in 2021 yet another cowardly generation of Americans is not uttering a peep as remnants of the Batistianos dictate to the Biden administration in Washington as it takes advantage of the deadly upsurge of COVID-19 disasters in Cuba to FINALLY RECAPTURE Cuba for the now very rich and politically powerful Little Havana Cubans in 2021 who dictate America's Cuban policies...lock, stock, and barrel!!

     Of course, in 1952 Americans were programmed to fully accept the reason that the United States so drastically supported the brutal Batista dictatorship in Cuba. It, of course, was so rich Americans -- such as shown above -- could bribe Batista for the purpose of allowing rich Americans to partake in the wholesale rape and robbery of the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island!!! But, of course, in 2021 Americans are not supposed to object to what Little Havana is doing to regain control of Havana...and, for damn sure, Americans in August of 2021 are not supposed to care about inconvenient historic FACTS about Batista's Cuba, such as the photo above that, uh...shows the rich and well-known A T & T stock-holder making his...uh...cozy inroads with Batista. Those...uh...two smiles shown above reveal the reason the United States loved Batista so much in the 1950s and, more importantly, reveal in August of 2021 why both parties in America's two-party political system love Little Havana so much!!

COVID Collapses Cuba's Health

 No end In Sight, It Appears!!

      There are many well-funded media sources -- such as Radio-TV Marti in Miami, Babalu in Little Havana, 14Medio in Havana, etc. -- that exist to promote negative reports on Cuba while supporting the rich and powerful Counter Revolutionary Cubans in Miami, Newark, and Congress. In fact, in the mainstream U. S. media the Miami Herald, Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc., make sure that their prime Cuban and Latin American journalists do the same. But the Headline & Sub-Headline shown above from the New York Times and written by prime Counter Revolutionary journalist Frances Robles happens to be mostly true this time.

     Each day on National Television in Cuba the beloved and renowned Dr. Francisco Duran posts endless statistics about the island's own devastating COVID-19 numbers. Today -- August 18, 2021 -- Cubans were told by Dr. Duran that the country's total of deaths from COVID-19 have suddenly zoomed to 4,240!!

    The Spanish word for death is "fallecidos." Above are Cuba's own updated charts on August 18-2021 denoting the total of COVID deaths, 4,240, and the percentage of deaths for various age groups of Cubans.

      On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 Cubans on national television were updated on ongoing vaccinations but more-and-more it is apparent the effort is not curbing the COVID surge.

    Today Cuba's Ambassador to Canada, Josefina Vidal, lavishly thanked Canada {above} for sending much-needed medical supplies to Cuba. But many Cubans believe it is too late.

     Despite what Americans are continually told by self-serving politicians and propaganda-obsessed media outlets, Cuba remains the largest, most beautiful, and most important nation in the Caribbean. It deserves to survive both COVID and Little Havana USA. However, it now seems that COVID and Little Havana USA are finally winning.

Cuba Concedes COVID Out of Control

 Cubans Are Provided Statistics!!

     Today -- Tuesday, August 17, 2021 -- Cubavision International Television News in Havana gave Cuba's 11.2 million citizens these devastating figures on the upsurge of the COVID-19 pandemic on the island. Today the confirmed new positive cases total 9,772 and the deaths {"fallecidos"} in the past 24 hours total 68. Overall the total of deaths on the island from COVID-19 now total 4,156. As you can see from the statistics in red above, Havana has the second most new cases with 1,094 but nearby Mayabeque leads with a whopping 2,282.

    The Wikipedia map above shows Mayabeque Province in red. It is on the southeast edge of Havana and has a population of about 382,000.

     The 17th of August-2021 trending topic regarding the uptick of the pandemic in Cuba is not only blaming the U. S. Blockade of the island, but more-and-more even exhausted Cuban doctors are blaming the Cuban government itself for the shortages, including for not providing oxygen sources.

    Meanwhile, the Washington-based Center for Democracy in the Americas {above} reports that many sources are now sending "Humanitarian Aid" to Cuba, including from: "Canada, UNICEF, Russia, Italy, China, Venezuela, Mexico, etc."

    The unrelenting Mary O'Grady remains the prime media propagandist demanding that President Biden forget little issues such as Covid, Afghanistan, global warming, etc., and get on with the recapture of CUBA!!!

    As the exalted Opinions Editor of the powerful Wall Street Journal, Mary O'Grady is responsible for these blistering headlines pleading with President Biden to take advantage of the enormous troubles that Cubans on the island are currently having as they try to survive both the Trump-Biden tightening of the Blockade while the deadly COVID pandemic is ravaging the vulnerable nearby island.

    Of course, Mary O'Grady apparently massively loved the Batista-Mafia regime that spawned the Cuban Revolution's victory on January 1, 1959. From that day to this day -- August 16, 2021 -- there have always been enough Cubans on the island to remember what the U. S.-backed Batista-Mafia rule of the island did to them that they, incredibly, have prevented all the efforts by Washington and the transplanted Batistianos to recapture their island. In mid-August of 2021, Mary O'Grady is still claiming that...all the Cubans on the island want a return of the Batista regime and want the superpower United States to recapture the island ANY DAY NOW!!!!! If that was true, Revolutionary Rule on the island would have ended many decades ago.

        So...in mid-August of 2021 while both the U. S. and Cuba both have other major problems...this {above} is what Mary O'Grady and the mighty Wall Street Journal is telling its readers. She wants President Biden to recapture Cuba while all the continuing millions of tax dollars promoting anti-revolutionary dissent on the island are helping the expanded Blockade and COVID making Cuba vulnerable to an easy overthrow.

    In the last paragraph above, Mary O'Grady's blatant lie says it is "nonsense" to say that the Embargo on very vulnerable Cuban families is cruel. And in the next sentence she says: "The regime can buy all the food and medicine it wants from the U. S. and can freely trade with the world." Every letter and every word in that sentence is a blatant and cruel lie. Recently, for example, Cuba tried to buy 30,000 syringes from a company in Sweden but the extreme financial influence worldwide of the U. S. and its Embargo ended that deal Cuba had with Sweden!!

     As you see above, the WSJ and Mary O'Grady claim that it is "nonsense" for anyone -- such as Congresswoman "Ms. Ocasio-Cortez" to say truthfully that "The embargo is absurdly cruel." Actually, of course, the entire world -- except for a few self-serving propagandists such as Mary O'Grady -- clearly understand that the embargo against Cuban families is indeed ABSURDLY CRUEL.

     When high-profile propagandists posing as real journalist can write words such as Mary O'Grady's lies shown above, perhaps the U. S. democracy is in even more trouble than the terribly targeted Cuban families on the island.

     In the United States of America, when the mainstream media routinely is allowed to promote self-serving propaganda about Cuba as shown above, it is, I think, more of an attack on America than it is an attack on Cuba.

    Meanwhile in Cuba today -- Aug. 16, 2021 -- elderly Cubans especially are being vaccinated.

       And in Cuba today -- Aug. 16, 2021 -- young children are also being given priority. In one recent day the 98 COVID deaths included a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl, plus a young woman who had just given birth. Is this the convenient situation that Mary O'Grady is insisting that Biden take advantage of to recapture the island as OPPOSED to helping the island instead of expanding the "absurdly cruel Blockade?"

Regardless of what a handful of powerful people such as MARY O'GRADY claim, the rest of the decent people around the world agree with this ubiquitous image: When a powerful nation takes advantage of a deadly pandemic to expand its cruel Embargo against masses of people on a much-smaller nation, it is ABSURDLY CRUEL!!!

Cuba Gets Help With COVID!!

 Nations Defy U.S. Blockade To Help!!

   Americans are not supposed to ask this question, but permit me to ask it anyway: "President Biden, you have your hands and plates full with problems concerning the American people such as...a resurging pandemic, parents confronting school opening questions, U. S. soldiers and diplomats escaping from a costly 20-year-old war, etc. etc. In that milieu, sir, why does a Democratic President of the United States take up so much time assaulting Cuba with more sanctions on top of the 143 sanctions you inherited from Trump and have maintained. I know that Americans are programmed to accept anything the nice, self-serving American & Cuban American politicians do to harm the bad Cuban families on the island, but, Mr. President, is there no end to this Cuban inhumanity, especially as Cuban families are being devastated by the pandemic?"

     The U. S. media is not in the business of telling the truth about atrocities against Cuban families, but the London-based Reuters News Agency does, as with the headline above that reports that "Biden promises more {sanctions} to come." REALLY, President Biden? Have you and Trump not already added enough sanctions against Cuba? Have those hundreds of sanctions against Cuba already created enough millionaires and billionaires in Miami while also hurting and destroying enough Cuban families on the island?

    Both today -- August 14th, 2021 -- and yesterday this Russian plane has twice delivered 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Cubans on the island. Since Mexican President Lopez Obrador two weeks ago, in a long and blistering speech, called the U. S. Blockade during the COVID pandemic to be "inhumane," Russia, Mexico, Italy, China, Vietnam, Canada, and Bolivia have sent medical supplies and food to assist Cubans in Cuba.

     Today -- August 14th, 2021 -- these are the statistics updating the drastic uptick of COVID cases and deaths on the island in the last 24 hours: 8,816 new cases and 83 new deaths {"fallecidos"}. As you see above...Havana, Cienfuegos, and Pinar del Rio are the hardest hit, with each having over 1,000 new positive cases in the past 24 hours.

     This photo today -- Aug. 14-2021 -- shows Cuban doctors treating victims of the 7.2 earthquake that early today shook Haiti terribly bad and also harmed Cubans on the southeastern regions of Cuba.

     While nearby Florida and the United States have been known to help Haiti -- in 2010 a 7.1 earthquake killed hundreds of thousands of Haitians -- a few Cubans in Florida and in Congress, as always, seem bent on making sure that the only help from the U. S. that involves Cuba goes to dissidents...you know, to help overthrow the Revolutionary government that unwittingly spawned Little Havana in Miami starting in January of 1959. Yes, Miami is known for Little Havana and also for Little Haiti, but Haiti didn't overthrow the Batista dictatorship in Cuba in January of 1959.

     And so...since January of 1959 the Revolution has ruled Cuba but since January of 1959 Little Havana in Miami has tried to recapture the Caribbean's largest and most beautiful island. In August of 2021 the recapture is very much ongoing, but since 1959 the effort has created a plethora of millionaires and billionaires in Miami while, of course, also inhumanely assaulting families on the island...you know, to induce Cubans on the island to rise up and overthrow their own revolutionary government. Did I mention "ONGOING?" Well, a couple of days ago {Friday} the U. S. Treasury Department saddled Cuba with more sanctions atop the sanctions that Counter Revolutionary Cubans in the U. S. Senate -- {Menendez & Rubio} -- had easily legalized even more sanctions under the Biden administration that were atop the 143 genocidal sanctions that the Trump administration had placed on Cuban families in Cuba...you know, to induce Cubans on the island to rise up and overthrow their own revolutionary government!!!!!!!!!

    Of Course, in my opinion Biden, Trump, Menendez, Rubio, and the other political & financial benefactors of the endless genocidal sanctions on Cubans on the island are not the prime culprits in a powerful nation that benefits from tormenting innocent and vulnerable masses of people in a much-smaller nation. l believe that the prime culprits are Americans in another generation, this one, that has neither the guts nor the integrity to say anything about it!!

Trump-Biden Cuban Starvation Tactics

 The Starvation Plan Is Now 62-YEARS Old!!

     Today -- Friday, August 13th, 2021 -- if you Googled "Cuba News" you get the above three Top Headlines. The Washington-based The Hill indicates that President Biden is expanding on President Trump's genocide against Cuba because Biden wants to get Florida's 29 Electoral Votes for the Democratic Party that the Republican Trump won back in the 2016 election. The Miami Herald, obligated to only promote on extreme Counter Revolutionary measures against Cuba, heralds the fact the U. S. Blockade has pushed Cuba's struggle against COVID to "near collapse" and so the "U. S. wants to send vaccines." That, of course, is the typical and very blatant Miami Herald lie although, if the U. S. Blockade combined with COVID brought about the recapture of Cuba, surely the U. S. would then quickly send vaccines, businesses, tourists, and billions of dollars to return the island to the 1950s when the U. S. and the Mafia supported and grossly benefited from the brutal Batista dictatorship. Then, thirdly, today's headline above by the London-backed Reuters shows some compassion for the families on the island on August 13-2021 as Cuban families are reeling from the twin perils of the Blockade and COVID.

    Today -- 13.08.2021 -- teary-eyed Dr. Francisco Duran is providing the Cuban people the continuing bad news -- 85 more deaths {fallecidos} in the past 24 hours from COVID and 8,312 new positive cases in the past 24 hours. With up to 100 deaths a day in recent weeks, Cuba's total of COVID deaths has suddenly risen to 3,842. And no, the U. S. is not sending vaccines to the island to help Cubans but instead the U. S. blocked Cuba's desire to purchase 30,000 much-needed syringes from a company in Sweden. Perhaps the Miami Herald should report that.

    On August 13-2021 Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez is using Cuban television, the internet, the United Nations, and whatever means he can muster to "denounce the U. S. blockade" while the island is trying to cope with the pandemic.

    While decent sources in the foreign media -- such as The Guardian in London -- can report fairly to the world about Cuba and the Blockade, the U. S. media rejoices about a handful of self-serving benefactors such as Democratic Senator Bob Menendez and Republican Senator Marco Rubio serving unchecked as the lucrative but genocidal dictators of America's Cuban policies. In the United States in August of 2021 only those who support the Embargo/Blockade of Cuba dominate the news media and the legal laws in Washington related to Cuba. That basic fact, I think, says much more about the U. S. in August of 2021 than it says about Cuba's attempt to survive.  

    These four Cuban girls in Cuba are, I think, far more precious than the people in the United States who support or condone the Embargo/Blockade that is trying to destroy the lives or at least the happiness of these four girls. For 62 years the U. S. Embargo-Blockade has tried to starve and deprive Cubans on the island to get them to rise up and overthrow their own Revolutionary government. It hasn't succeeded but, with the likes of Menendez & Rubio dictating Cuban laws, it appears the U. S. is willing to keep the attempted genocide in place for another 62 years. Meanwhile, since 1959 Cuba has provided free educations through college and free healthcare for all its citizens. And meanwhile, while the likes of Menendez & Rubio can use the U. S. media to claim there is no Embargo/Blockade against Cuba and that THEY are the ones helping Cubans on the island, the mothers of the four girls in Cuba that are shown above also have OPINIONS and perhaps one day the U. S. democracy will at least allow the opinions of mothers on the island to be heard, not just the opinions of Menendez's  & Rubio's.
