Rubio vs. Johana. Who will Win? Who is right?

      A very smart Cuban named Johana Tablada passionately loves Revolutonary Cuba and she has spent her entire adult life passionately becoming an expert on two adversaries -- the rich and powerful counter revolutionary Cubans in Miami and the rich and powerful United States. In 2025 she thinks she can out-smart and out-last Marco  Rubio, the Miami Cuban who has spent his entire adult life trying to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba. Now as President Donald Trump's ultra-powerful U. S. Secretary of State, Rubio is expected to rather easily eliminate Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution before the end of 2025. Johana Tablada knows all about that as she battles what she calls the "maximum aggressiion" from Marco Rubio and the superpower United States.

        As Johana Tablada said in a speech this week: "Almost twenty measures have been taken by Donald Trump and his Secretary of State, Marco Rubio" to FINALLY end Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution." And as you can see and read below, Cuba's U. S. expert Johana Tablada also said a lot of other pertinent things in her last speech...such as: "The policy of the current United States government towards Cuba has been characterized by arggression." An undeniable sentence.

Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution has ruled Cuba since 1959.

The U. S. EMBARGO has surrounded Cuba since 1962.

      As indicated by three photos/images shown above, the drastic U. S. economic EMBARGO against Cuba has existed for almost seven decades, since 1962, and its intention has been to "starve, depirve, and make miserable" the Cuban people to induce them to rise up and overthrow their revolutionary government, the one that overthrew the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in 1959. Now, as we head into the tumultuous month of October in 2025, the purpose of the EMBARGO has not been fulfilled but it continues, now harder and more drastic than ever!! In that milieu, deep into 2025 the Miami-born Cuban-American Marco Rubio, as President Donald Trump's ultra-powerful Secretary of State, dictates the U. S. foreign policy, which includes Cuba. All of his adult life Rubio has tried to eliminate Revolutionary Cuba and most experts believe he now has the chance to fulfill his lifelong dream.  Meanwhile, in 2025 Johana Tablada has emeged as the Cuban official most vocally leading the charge to prevent Rubio's plans to finally overthrow the island's revolutionary goverment.

Johana Tablada, of course, calls the U. S. EMBARGO "a BLOCKADE." U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, of course, calls it "a justified embargo against a criminal regime." As the most powerful and most ubiquitous official in President Trump's adminstration, Rubio receives daily worldwide news coverage. But Johana Tablada, of course, has to fight hard and loud to be heard. Therefore, below it is appropriate I think for some of her key points to be heard, starting with this claim from Cuba's standpoint: "Today as we are reaching the end of 2025 ten million Cubans in Cuba are suffering drastically from food shortages and island-wide power blackouts and the endless and biggest lie that Miami Cubans and the U. S. government continue to tell...is that the shortages suffered today by the Cuban people have nothing to do with the blockade."

      It so happens that almost the entire world agrees with Johana Tablada, and that basic fact has been reiterated and proven each October for decades by the votes in the United Nations that yearly beg the U. S. to end the EMBARGO/Blockade on Cuba. Normally the worldwide UN votes to end it are 187-to-2 with only the U. S. and Israel voting to continue it. Yet, since 1962 it has contlinued decade after decade after decade. Johana Tablada says: "The U. S. Blockade against us is the longest and most genocidal act that has been allowed to continue under the largest unilateral coercive measures system in the world, and applied for the longest time."

And, of course, Johana largely blames Marco Rubio.

    For sure, Johana Tablada in these final months of 2025 is most concerned that Marco Rubio, as U. S. Secretary of State, can dicate even harsher "measures" against Cuba than the island has been forced to endure since 1962..."measures" she has long deemed to be "inhumane." With Rubio now in charge of U. S. foreign affairs, Johana Tablada is aware that Rubio can influence "international organizations" that might want to help Cuba to not help Cuba.

       Speaking for Cuba, Johana Tablada tries to remind the world that Cuba is only an "Island: that is surrounded by a U. S. EMBARGO that prevents other international trade and help from reaching the Nation  of Cuba. Her words continually stress that basic fact.

     Yes, while Johana Tablada is now the most effective and most vocal Cuban official trying to provide Cuba's side of the US-Cuba Conundrum, she indeed admits that food shortages, power blackouts, and other "miserable deprivations" are being inflicted on the Cuban people as they head into the month of October in 2025.

    Although surrounded by vast oceans of "water" the Cuban people even have shortages of clean "water." By no means does Johana Tablada claim that Cuba's revolutionary leaders are blameless, but she mostly blames U. S. policies since 1959. Does she have a valid POINT? Perhaps Marco Rubio can answer that question.

After decades a huge US-Cuba SAGA has ended!!

 A Notable Death In Havana!!

      At age 78 Joanne Deborah Shakur has died in Havana. She is also known as Assata Shakur, the famed godmother/grandmother of the late entertainer Tupac Shakur. But Joanne's everlasting fame came when her black liberation name Assata made headlines on May 2nd in 1973 on a highway in New Jersey. That day she and other black liberation activists got in a shootout with New Jersey state troopers. Trooper Werner Foerster was killed. Assata was arrested. She was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. But she escaped in November of 1979 and was put on the top of the FBI's Most Wanted List. In 1984 she emerged in Cuba where Fidel Castro, saying she was unfairly charged and treated in the U. S., gave her asylum. Despite massive monetary rewards and other means failed to dislodge her from Cuba, and mostly known by her real name of Joanne Deborah Shakur, she remained in Cuba until she died at age 78, with her daughter Kakuya Shakur confirming the death on Facebook.

Her death in Havana ends a famous life.

The BELOVED Silvio Rodriguez's Last Concert In Cuba!!

 Before he starts his last Latin American Concert Tour

     Now 78-years-old, the legendary Silvio Rodriguez in late September in 2025 this past weekend performed his last musical concert in Havana and has now embarked on his last Latin American tour. The world-famed singer, song-writer, and guitarist for many decades has been wildly admired and beloved by generations in Cuba. Now in the tumultuous year of 2025 his endearing love for his homeland is more perilous than ever and his thoughts during these belated last concerts are his own but they  are  also fogging the memories and hopes of his legions of faithful fans. Should U.S. Cubans Forever Dictate U.S. Cuban Poliicy?

 Should that Question even be asked?

      Since 1959 -- when the Cuban Revolution shocked the world by overthrowing the US/Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship -- generations of counter revolutionary Cuban-Americans in Miami have grown rich and politically powerful by dictating the U. S. Cuban policies that, for seven decades, have been designed to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba. INCREDIBLY, the regime change in Cuba orchestrated from Miami and Washington hasn't happened yet but the superpower efforts in September of 2025 are as drastic as ever.

  Cuba is the largest island and nation in the Caribbean and is just a few miles south of Miami. This map also shows Guantanamo Bay on the southeastern tip of the island where the U. S. has maintained a massive mililary base since 1903.

        Since 1962 the United States has also officially maintained a drastic economic EMBARGO againt Cuba for the purpose, according to declassified U. S. documents, "of starving, depriving and making miserable" Cubans to induce them to rise up and overthrow their revolutionary government. But, as of September of 2025, that regime change has not happened yet...although, OF COURSE, it has certainly "starved, deprived, and made miserable" generations of Cubans for the past seven decades. Although it began in 1962, after the 1961 Bay of Pigs military attack failed to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba, the U. S. economic Embargo/Blockade of Cuba, after all these decades, still has not created the desired regime change in Cuba. Yet, as shown below by the drastic news in September of 2025, everyday Cubans are daily and nightly suffering mightily.

      For sure, the extreme problems as reported by the headlines and articles above have multiple causes, including huge mistakes by Cuba's revolutionary leaders. But, beyond doubt, the drastic economiic EMBARGO/Blockade orchestrated by the nearby superpower United States for the past seven decades is a contributing factor. Yet, since 1959, it has never been addressed fairly in the United States...and now in September of 2025 perhaps it is time to do so.

     It, perhaps, should also be remembered that in the 1950s prior to the Cuban Revolution the U. S. support of the brutal Batista Military Dictatorship allowed Batista, the Mafia, and dozens of major U. S. companies to make vast economic fortunes in Batista's Cuba. To deny that in 2025 is more of an insult to the United States people than it is to the CUBAN PEOPLE, I think.

       In September of 2025 Miami-born Marco Rubio, the ultra-powerful U. S. Secretary of State in President Donald Trump's administration, and Little Havana in the heart of Miami-Florida, have a firm grip on the Cuban policies in the superpower United States. Perhaps...it is time for input from other sources too!!!!!!!!!!
