On these first two days of November-2023, even as two bloody Wars are grabbing the attention of the whole world, the whole world at the United Nations is "demanding the end of the inhumane blockade imposed more than 60 years ago by the US on the Cuban people." To start November of 2023 the nations of the world are indeed demanding that the United States finally end the cruel and "inhumane" blockade against "the Cuban people" that has existed since 1962. Below are 20 examples of what the nations around the world are saying about it at the UN:
As you can see and read above, the nations of the world are outraged that the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of Cuba has been allowed to continue since 1962...and, as you should note above, the world is particularly outraged that the U. S. during the Trump presidency put Cuba on its List of Nations That Sponsor Terrorism and that the current Biden administration has allowed that to continue so the Blockade can be more cruel than ever. In other words, today and tomorrow -- November 1st and 2nd of 2023 -- the nations of the world show their outrage at the UN that the richest and most powerful nation in the world can alone endlessly impose a cruel and inhumane blockade against the people of Cuba, as the U. S. has done since 1962!!
On November 1st-2023 YouTube and other Internet outlets showed the live speeches at the UN denoucing the U. S. Blockade. The day before when the Cuban mother posted the above photo and quotation on Social Media outlets, it quickly garnered thousands of replies. The quotation was/is a poem by the famed Jose Marti, who died on a Cuban battlefield in 1895 as Cuba tried to break the yoke of foreign {Spain's} imperialism.
Born in Havana on January 28, 1853, Jose Marti died on May 19, 1895, in Cuba during the Battle of Rio Cauto as he fought in vain against Spain's long domination of Cuba. Before he returned to Cuba from the U. S. to fight for Cuba's independence, Jose Marti was an internationally famed literary figure, especially for his poems. The same year {1895} he died fighting Spanish soldiers in Cuba, the United States later that year easily won the Spanish-American War in Cuba, meaning the U. S. had replaced Spain as the foreign power dominating Cuba...until 1959.
Inspired by Jose Marti, another Cuban rebel named Fidel Castro shocked the world on January 1, 1959 when his Cuban Revolution dramatically replaced the United States, the Mafia, and dictator Fulgencio Batista as the rulers of Cuba. Incredibly, although Fidel Castro died at age 90 in 2016, his Revolution amazingly, against all odds, remains in control of Cuba at the start of November in 2023.
