       While neither the mainstream U. S. media nor the U. S. government is in the business of reporting on Cuban positives,  the image above shows that PBC NEWS, even in the United States, explains that many poor nations and even rich nations, like Italy, summon Cuba's highly respected doctors in times of crisis.       Today -- March 23rd, 2020 -- the notice above shows that Cuba has now reluctantly closed off all classes at the University of Havana. The suspension will last at least till April 20th.

     The selfie photo above shows popular Cuban television anchor Rosy Amaro Perez as she posted a COVID-19 warning to the Cuban people. She reminded them: "Take care of yourself, and take care of me." Rosy reported that Cuba started today with 40 "confirmed" cases of the Coronavirus.

    Today -- Sunday, March 22, 2020 -- the image above flashed around the world because the top international News Agency REUTERS used this photo, and others, to illustrate a major article entitled: "Cuban Doctors Head To Italy Battle Coronavirus." Because REUTERS is based in London, its reporters can tell the truth about Cuba, something the U. S. media, including the strong AP agency, is basically restricted from doing because the U. S. narrative, as well as the USA's draconian Cuban policies, have been basically dictated since 1959 by Cuban-exile extremists after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution over the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship. Revolutionary Cuba's sheer and astounding longevity continues in 2020 to, amazingly, change the U. S. more than it changes Revolutionary Cuba itself...as REUTERS pointed out again on March 22-2020 concerning the Coronavirus pandemic.

S., especially during the current Trump presidency, has spent fortunes in tax dollars to chase much-needed Cuban doctors from helping people in many poor countries, enticing some of them with nice incentives to defect while also using the U.S.'s unique economic and military influence to persuade other nations to help the U. S. strangle Cuba, including its medical brigades. Recently strong former pro-Cuba allies like Brazil are now helping the U. S. overthrow Revolutionary Cuba...and, since the recent U.S.-friendly coup, even Bolivia has also strongly joined that American effort to re-dominate Cuba like in the pre-Revolutionary era. Some of the prime points REUTERS revealed March 22nd-2020 regarding Cuba's medical brigades that point out massive U. S. Cuban lies are these:

         ***"The rich nation of Italy has asked Cuba to send a brigade of doctors to Lombardy, the region of Italy that is being most devastated by the Coronavirus." {Cuba quickly responded by sending the 54-doctor brigade as depicted by the two photos shown above}.

         ***"The Caribbean island has sent its armies of White Robes to disaster sites around the world, largely in poor countries. Its doctors were in the front lines in the fight against cholera in Haiti, ebola in West Africa, etc. Now Cuba has been asked to send an emergency contingent to Italy, one of the world's richest countries, demonstrating the reach of Cuba's medical diplomacy."

           ***"Cuba has also, when asked, also recently sent doctors to combat the Coronavirus to Venezuela, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Suriname, Grenada, and other nations."

            ***"Jamaican Health Minister Christopher Tufton was at the Kingston International Airport to welcome 140 Cuban doctors Saturday. Mr. Tufton said, 'In a time of crisis, the Cuba government, the Cuban people, have risen to the occasion. They heard our appeal and they have responded." {Recently, U. S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo supposedly visited Jamaica in the U.S.'s urgent effort to enlist or warn other nations to join the effort to destroy Revolutionary Cuba}.

     Also Saturday -- March 21, 2020 -- these are some of the 140 Cuban doctors at the Havana airport just before they flew to Jamaica to help that country fight the Coronavirus pandemic. As noted by REUTERS, from the moment this Medical Brigade touched down in Jamaica, the Jamaican government and Jamaican people have lavished Cuba and its people with praise and gratitude for heeding Jamaica's plea for help. In the last few days, so have strong and rich countries, especially England and Italy. As a democracy-loving American, I wish my country also had the guts to tell the truth about photos such as the one above...and cease to allow a handful of a second generation of Batistiano-like Cubans to use the might of the United States to commit genocide against masses of innocent Cubans on the island. On March 22nd-2020 the great London-based REUTERS NEWS AGENCY again blessed the world by dispelling vicious lies about Cuba, lies that defame America and Democracy even more than they defame Cuba.

       In America's Era of Trump about 20 extremists -- ALL SELF-SERVING RADICAL COUNTER REVOLUTIONARIES LED BY VICIOUS BUT UNCHECKED U.S.-CUBANS SUCH AS CLAVER-CARONE, RUBIO, AND DIAZ-BALART -- the United States resembles in 2020 what the Batista-Mafia dictatorship was in the 1950s. As a democracy-loving American, I am pained by the fact that the U. China Helps Cuba Fight Virus

The U. S. Maintains Its Blockade!!

      China's leader Xi Jinping {shown here} this weekend has ordered that "donations" will be sent to Cuba to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic on the island.

     Meanwhile, U. S. leader President Trump has refused to consider easing his almost total blockade against Cuba, which direly and cruelly has put everyday Cubans on the island in peril but both BEFORE and now DURING the Coronavirus crisis.

      In fact, as the Coronavirus roils both the United States and Cuba, President Trump has just appointed YET ANOTHER Counter Revolutionary zealot, Carlos Trujillo {above} to a powerful position to make sure that ONLY anti-Cuban extremists dictate all of America's draconian and genocidal Cuban policies. Incredibly, while Trump is roundly criticized regarding practically everything else he says or does, neither the American people nor even the left-wing U. S. mainstream media have the guts to criticize his Cuban genocide. The Trump appointment of the extremist Carlos Trujillo as Assistant Secretary of State dealing with Western Hemisphere Affairs is therefore appalling. That is the group led by ultra-extremist Mauricio Claver-Carone and is in charge of blockading and destroying Revolutionary Cuba to appease greedy and avenging Counter Revolutionary Cubans and their sycophants who remember when rich U. S. businessmen partook in the wholesale rape and robbery of the island during the pre-revolutionary Batista-Mafia dictatorship. Carlos Trujillo and his primary bosses Claver-Carone and Marco Rubio, like ALL the Cuban decision-makers in the Trump administration, are self-serving extremists regarding Cuba...WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. Of course, what that says about the U. S. democracy is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE U. S. MEDIA NOR BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. And that is so endemic to the U. S. fabric and U. S. ideology, not even something such as a vile pandemic, which changes almost everything else, cannot CHANGE what has become Batistiano America.

     And when ONLY anti-Cuban extremists like Miami's Carlos Trujillo are allowed to make what many consider genocidal decisions against the masses of Cubans on the island, those who loved Batista's Cuba back in the 1950s MUST LOVE Trump's Batistiano America in 2020.

Sanctioned Cuba Battles Virus

Two Enemies: Coronavirus & U.S.

     The photo above shows the British cruise ship MS Braemar docked at Cuba's deep-water, ultra-modern Mariel Port 35 miles of Havana. The ship had been stranded in the Caribbean since February because no nation would allow it to dock until Cuba agreed to take the risk because it said "over a thousand people on board were in dire trouble." On board were 682 passengers and 381 crew members. Five people on the Braemar have tested positive for the Coronavirus while 27 crew members and 28 passengers are being isolated with symptoms. England turned to Cuba when all other ports in the region refused to allow the ship to dock.

     These Cuban buses were lined up at the Mariel Port to accept the passengers and crew members aboard the MS Braemar. The healthy people were bused to Jose Marti International Airport in Havana. Cuba and the UK had arranged for flights to return them to England and to their other home countries.

       A passenger on the MS Braemar, Anthea Guthrie, has used her Facebook account to thank the people for rescuing the {see above}. All over social media, there have been similar "thank you, thank you, thank you" tributes to Cuba. On both her and my Facebook accounts Anthea Guthrie wrote these words: "Cuba has world class hospitals, and we have said for years, if you get sick, get sick in Cuba." Anthea Guthrie has been to Cuba and knows Cubans. Americans who have never been to Cuba are provided anti-Cuban narratives from anti-revolutionary Cuban zealots such as Mauricio Claver-Carone.

      These passengers on the MS Braemar were thankful to finally be at the airport in Havana on their journey home.

     As of today -- March 18th, 2020 -- Cuba reports that it has "10 Confirmed Cases" of the Coronavirus and "389 suspicious cases." And this afternoon Cuba confirmed that it now has one person on the island that has died from the Coronavirus.

    This AP/Ramon Espinosa photo shows a Cuban woman buying food as she wears a mask to fight the Coronavirus. This photo was used today by the powerful London-based newspaper The Guardian to illustrate a major article entitled: "Cuba Faces Squeeze On Food Production As U.S. Oil Sanctions Bite." I SINCERELY BELIEVE that every American needs to go on the Internet and read every word of this story that The Guardian is spreading around the world today -- March 18, 2020. It points out the sheer uniqueness of Cuba that leaves the Caribbean's largest nation as the ONLY NATION IN THE WORLD that is compelled to battle a near-blockade by the world's Superpower, the United States, while it tries to battle the Coronavirus pandemic. The must-read The Guardian article states: "The U. S. has since April sanctioned tanker companies delivering petroleum to Cuba...in an effort to strangle its most indefatigable foe. Over the past 12 months, the U. S. has hit Cuba with the most potent sanctions in half a century." Being an internationally influential newspaper and digital giant based in London, The Guardian can readily print such facts. Yet, in the United States even the mainstream media is too afraid to report the truth about Cuba, and that includes the omnipotent left-wing anti-Trump power houses such as The NY Times, Washington Post, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, etc. who for over three years have spent most of their space and time searching and reporting anything real or imagined or propagandized to impeach or otherwise remove Trump. Yet, even those left-wing propagandists who shower the U. S. media do not have the guts or the integrity to mention the main reason Trump should be impeached or imprisoned -- and that is for allowing Counter Revolutionary zealots such as Mauricio Claver-Carone to unleash genocide on masses of everyday Cubans on the island.

    Most decent and brave Cuban experts are aware that President Trump committed an impeachable offense when he pointed to Mauricio Claver-Carone as the dictator of America's Cuban policy.  For six decades and two generations the U. S. has allowed Counter Revolutionary Cuban zealots like Claver-Carone to dictate Batista/Mafia-like rules pertaining to recapturing Cuba for the Cubans who fled the Cuban Revolution in January of 1959 only to resettle in Miami, creating their new capital of Little Havana. After the Bay of Pigs military attack failed to recapture Cuba in April-1961, along with unchecked assassinations and terrorist assaults that also failed to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba, in 1962 the U. S. tried to strangle the island with an economic boycott that has become the cruelest and longest in history ever imposed by a powerful nation against a much weaker nation. But from 1962 till today the boycott has also failed to recapture Cuba. All Republican administrations in the U. S. since the 1950s have been tightly aligned with Cubans like Fulgencio Batista and Mafia leaders like Lucky Luciano in dominating or trying to dominate Cuba. But not even the Batistiano-loving George W. Bush presidency refused to activate Title 3/Helms-Burton because even Bush considered it too genocidal against the masses of innocent Cubans on the island. But when Trump put Cuban zealots like Claver-Carone as the sole dictators of Cuban policies, Title 3/Helms-Burton WAS ACTIVATED...just as the London-based The Guardian reported today -- on March 18-2020.

     Now that Mauricio Claver-Carone can dictate Cuban policies in the Trump White House, any American journalist, politician or citizen who doesn't admit that Title III constitutes genocide against Cubans is either a liar or an idiot.

 When the world's so-called "strongest and greatest" Democracy allows the likes of a Mauricio Claver-Carone to make what decent and observant Americans consider to be genocide against masses of innocent people in a weaker nation, America is no longer the great Democracy is was before its Batistiano and Mafiosi obsession included first ruling Cuba and since 1959 obsessed with recapturing Cuba. Claver-Carone's hometown newspaper is the Naples Daily News in Florida. A recent headline in that newspaper was: "A Closer Look At The Man Advising Trump on Cuba." The article said:

          "'As a boy when Mauricio Claver-Carone played football in Orlando, if you ever mentioned Fidel Castro he would go berserk,' said Farlan Bailey, Claver-Carone's longtime friend who graduated with him from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in 1993."

      Since leaving high school, Claver-Carone everyday of his adult life has self-servingly taken advantage of his "berserk" obsession of recapturing Cuba. With massive advantages from the rich and volatile Cuban exiles in Little Havana, Republican administrations such as the Bush dynasty, and the Catholic Church, Claver-Carone has raised massive amounts of political dollars and cultivated powerful political allies to assault Cuba. Yet, only the Trump administration permitted Title 3/Helms-Burton to be a genocidal tool that Claver-Carone can use against masses of totally innocent Cuban families on the island. And perhaps most incredible of all is the fact that neither the mainstream U. S. media nor the intimidated or ignorant American people have neither the guts nor the integrity to utter a peep about U. S. genocide against innocent Cubans, even though...of course...even hints of genocide by a Russia or a China against innocent people is always in vogue in the United States. Back in the 1950s the U. S. supported Batista and Luciano as dictators in Cuba because, via kickbacks, they permitted rich U. S. businessmen to partake in the wholesale rape and robbery of the island. In March of 2020 the U. S. allows Mauricio Claver-Carone, whom most Americans never heard of, to dictate America's genocidal Cuban policies, apparently because President Trump believes it will help him obtain Florida's 29 crucial Electoral Votes in November's presidential election. In the 1950s Americans accepted Batista and Luciano as Cuba's U.S.-friendly dictators and in 2020 Americans accept Mauricio Claver-Carone. In other words, from the 1950s till to this day, the pugnacious island of Cuba has said a lot more about the superpower United States than it has said about Cuba.

Cuba Drug Key To Coronavirus Fight

China Thinks It Is!!

   Today -- March 17, 2020 -- the popular news source CounterPunch has a major article entitled "Cuba's Contribution to Combatting COVID-19". It is written by the Cuban and Latin American expert at the University of Glasgow, Helen Yaffe. The long article begins with this update:

         "COVID-19 began in the Chinese city of Wuhan in late December 2019 and by January 2020 it had hit Hubei province like a tital wave, swirling over China and rippling out overseas. Among the 30 medicines the Chinese National Health Commission selected to fight the virus was a Cuban anti-viral drug Interferon Alpha 2B. This drug has been produced in China since 2003, by the enterprise ChangHeber, a Cuban-Chinese joint venture. Cuban Interferon Alpha 2B has proven effective for viruses with characteristics similar to those of COVID-19."

      Including China, at least 15 other nations have contacted Cuba requesting Heberon Alfa B to combat COVID-19.

      As of March 17-2020 Cuba reports that it has "5 Confirmed Cases" of the Coronavirus and "388 Suspicious Cases."

Cuba Welcomes Stranded British Ship

        Cuban journalist Rosy Amaro Perez reports that Cuba has given permission for the British cruise ship MS Braemar to dock in Cuba although it has at least five confirmed cases of the Coronavirus. CNN's Havana correspondent Patrick Oppmann has confirmed Rosy Amaro Perez's report on his Twitter account. The ship has been perilously stranded in the Caribbean and all other nations had refused the ship to dock in their ports and have their hospitals help the patients. The MS Braemar has 682 passengers and 381 crew members.

Cuba Battles Coronavirus

As The U.S. Strengthens Blockade!!

     Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel chaired this discussion about the Coronavirus with top medical experts on the island. Asked if the U. S. "might possibly loosen the blockade during the COVID-19 pandemic," President Diaz-Canel replied: "To the contrary, the Cubans like Mauricio Claver-Carone in charge of the Trump administration's effort to regain control of Cuba have no pity for Cuban families on the island. Instead, taking advantage of disasters to further punish everyday Cubans is a policy aimed at turning Cubans here against their government while, as we know, making people like Claver-Carone rich and powerful on the expected bones of our people. As the Coronavirus threatens us, the blockade threatens us even more. We must deal with COVID-19 with that knowledge as we move forward."

     In the discussion above, it was revealed that expected COVID-19 patients are being treated with a medicine known as Recombinant Interferon Alfa 2B. It was produced by Cuba's Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology {CIGB} and its Director, Eulogio Pimentel said, "We think we are capable of satisfying not only possible demand in Cuba for this proven medicine, but also the requests that we are getting from other countries. So far, 15 countries have asked for supplies."

Meanwhile:

    The Cuban dissident artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara has been released from 13 days of confinement. International human rights groups and U. S. Cuban Counter Revolutionaries had raved about Otero Alcantara's imprisonment, which the Cuban government maintained was supported by most Cubans on the island. But the release apparently was mostly related to one major complaint from a beloved Cuban.

     Cuba's most famed folk singer and songwriter, 73-year-old Silvio Rodriguez, wrote these words on his blog about Otero Alcantara's arrest: "We are giving a very sad impression of backwardness." That sentence predicated Otero Alcantara's release.

      For decades on the island, Silvio Rodriguez has been a prime supporter of Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution, and Silvio openly denounces the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia regime that preceded it. So, one sentence from Silvio about the incarceration of dissident artist Otero Alcantara was instrumental in the dissident's release.

      Cuba still staunchly maintains that Luis Manual Otero Alcantara and others like him are "massively funded by anti-Cubans in the U. S. Congress, all Republican White Houses, and unchecked political operatives in Little Havana and in Newark." One thing that recently irked Cuban officials was when Otero Alcantara allegedly video-taped "the debasing of the Cuban flag in his bathroom."
