3 Foreign Powers Court Cuba, But Not USA!!!

 China, Russia, and Iran!!

    In this month of June in 2023 Cuba's top leaders have been courted in Havana by top delegations from the USA's top three competitors/enemies -- Russia, China, and Iran.

    After receiving important delegations from Russia and China, Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel received a state visit from Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran. It appears that those three FOREIGN nations in June of 2023 are courting Cuba to take advantage of their competitive economic or military differences with the United States, the nearby World Superpower that appears to be tightening its six-decade-old economic Embaargo/Blockade against the reeling island nation.

      Meanwhile, today -- June 17-2023 -- Cuba's President Diaz-Canel is 500 miles from Havana in the southeastern Province of Granma, close to the U. S. Military Base at Guantanamo. Diaz-Canel, as shown above today by Cuban newscasts, is doing what he does best, which is walking the streets and explaining Cuba's efforts to juggle its priorities so it can survive such things as the Embargo, its terrible economy, and natural calamities such as this week's latest deadly flood that hit Granma Province.

      The TV caption comment/video above shows President Diaz-Canel telling Cubans in Granma Providence today that he knows how "difficult things are for you citizens, but I want you all to know that your leaders are trying to improve things as best we can." Before becoming President of Cuba in 2018 Diaz-Canel was the island's popular Minister of Education. Most independent observers believe he is still supported by most of Cuba's 11 million people despite the myriad of problems.

      And, YES, today -- June 17th-2023 -- in battered Granma Province, President Diaz-Canel was asked this question by Cubans on the street: "Mr. President, it seems that China, Russia and Iran are all offering to help us during this time of heightened disasters as well as disastrous sanctions from the United States. You said you seek more nornal relations with the United States, but is that possible?"

Starving Cubans In June of 2023

 Is China JustTrying to Help?

Or Is China/Russia EXPLOITING the Dire Situation?

      In mid-June of 2023 headlines in the U. S. and around the world are reporting that Cubans in Cuba are starving due to the vast U. S. Economic EMBARGO-Blockade that began way back in 1962 when its purpose was to starve, deprive, and make miserable Cubans on the island to induce them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government. Today -- on June 14th-2023 -- above is the Headline and Sub-Headline being flashed around the world after being published today by two prime U. S. media sources -- NBC News and Telemundo News. Of course, while the starvations in Cuba continue unabated, most headlines related to Cuba refer to the fact that Counter Revolutionary factions are stressing something else -- namely that China has a spy base in Cuba that presumably will doom the USA unless the USA...uh...does something about it!!

     The aforementioned NBC News/Telemundo News Headline and Sub-Headline was illustrated by this photo from Adalberto Roque/AFP/Getty Images. The photo above shows Cubans trying to keep from starving by waiting in line to purchase some food being sold or given away from the back of a truck.

    This photo, every bit as important as the two top photos above, was taken in Havana today -- June 14th-2023 -- and it shows a ceremony in which Cuban schoolgirls and their parents/grandparents are being told that they will survive calamities such as the U. S. Embargo, which started in 1962 and since has been maintained or expanded by the Democratic and Republican administrations in the U. S. who apparently benefit from it. Benefit from it? Study the facial expression of the Cuban schoolgirl today who is directly looking into the camera. Then ask yourself two questions: {1} Is she an enemy of the U. S.? and {2} does she, along with her parents and grandparents, deserve to live their lives in the throes of the U. S. Embargo?

    The U. S. Embargo against Cuba has harmed every schoolgirl in Cuba since 1962 while also, in the eyes of most of the world, shames the images of the U. S. and Democracy. But for over six decades it has existed...with no end on the horizon.

    For the record, above are the first three paragraphs of the long article today -- on June 14th-2023 -- that is flashing around the world courtesy of NBC News and Telemundo News. The article informs the world that many Cubans are "fleeing misery and hunger" as they are flocking to the U. S., but what about the 11 million Cubans they leave behind on the island? Yes, the prime question perhaps is who benefits from this situation and WHY is no one ever held accountable for the disastrous Embargo?

June 13-2023 -- A Historic Day for US and Cuba

 

      The photo today was taken from a live broadcast aired by TV-4 CBS News in Little Havana/Miami right after 4:00 PM this afternoon -- June 13th of 2023. It shows Donald Trump stopping off at the famed Cuban-owned Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana/Miami. It was moments after Mr. Trump had just been indicted at the U. S. Federal Courthouse in Miami for the most serious crimes any current or former U. S. president has ever been charged with. Incredibly, a new heated presidential campaign is underway and Donald Trump is by far the leading Republican candidate in USA's two-party and seriously challenged U. S. democracy. Little Havana, Miami, and Florida's massive haul of electoral votes will, as usual, play a huge role in the outcome of 2024's next U. S. presidential election...meaning that Cuba will, even more than usual, play a huge role in the outcome of the ongoing U. S. presidential election and the future of the U. S. democracy.

    Today -- on June 13th-2023 -- above are the Top Cuban Headlines blaring around the U. S. and the World!! As you can see, the latest excuse for Little Havana-Miami-and-the U. S. to overcome Cuba's revolutionary government -- in place, incredibly, since 1959 -- is the current allegations that China, the biggest military and economic threat to the U. S., has a vital SPY BASE in Cuba, which is a mere 90 miles from Key West, Florida.

      Thus this photo/video/image from the famed Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana taken at 4.14 PM this afternoon -- on June 13th-2023 -- reveals how vital the USA's endless quest to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba centers mightily in Little Havana and the Versailles Restaurant in Miami. Donald Trump turns 77-years-old tomorrow and he is the most targeted President/former President in U. S. history. The charge he now faces in the U. S. Federal Courtroom in Miami will, if successful, put Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his life. It is not surprisingly that he left the courtroom today and went straight to the Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana where he believes the powerful U. S. Cuban forces will blame the Democratic Biden presidency for being behind the charges against him, a charge that the U. S. routinely labels Cuba and other nations with.

       Meanwhile, while Cuba since 1959 has most faced surviving the U. S. efforts to overturn its revolutionary government, it also has faced the island's extreme vulnerability to the dangerous Caribbean storms and the poverty that is partly attributed to the U. S. Embargo that began in 1962. The Paris-based AFP News Agency, as shown above, today -- on June 12th-2023 -- is telling the world of the latest deadly storm that Cuba is desperately trying to survive today, the day that Donald Trump expectedly stopped off at the Versailles Restaurant as he tries to save his political career and his life from U. S. federal charges that could put him in prison for the rest of his life.

    In other words...Cuba, the island nation located due south of Florida, has for many decades -- especially since 1959 -- been forced to PUNCH far above its SIZE JUST TO SURVIVE. The vast Donald Trump saga roiling the nearby superpower United States merely shines more light on the historic and current facts regarding Cuba, facts that intertwine Cuba with the United States.

Miami Cubans Link Cuba As Key Foreign U. S. Threat

      "Some Cubans fear their island could become a new front for Russia-NATO Confrontations." The glaring headline above in June of 2023 links the Embargoe/Blockaded island nation of Cuba with the USA's enemy Russia, echoing memories when Cuba's link with Russia/Soviet Union led, for 14 days in October of 1962, to the closest the world has ever come to a nuclear war. The photo above, buttressing the above headline, shows Russia's well-known Foreign Minister meeting in Havana's two top leaders, President Miguel and revolutinary icon Raul Castro. The implication in June of 2023 of both the headline and the photo implies that Russia, mired in a bloody war with Ukraine, needs to beef up its friends...especially Cuba that is located just south of the United States and happens to be in a survival mode against the devastating U. S. Embargo/Blockade that has existed for an amazing 6+ decades, since 1962. To combat the USA's extreme Embargo of Cuba, Russia supposedly is offering vital oil and other financial lures to Cuba during these troubled times??

        If Russia, a supreme nuclear power, is not the USA's top foreign threat than surely China, an ultra economic and military power, is!! So in June of 2023, while the U. S. is strongly engaged supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia, the USA is also direly concerned with having to support Taiwan in what many experts believe will be an all-out military attack by China against Taiwan. Wow!! In that vastly dangerous milieu, the mighty New York Times blares the above headline: "China to Build Station That Could Spy on U. S. from Cuba, Officials Say." Wow!!

     The massive New York Times article {shown above} linking China's efforts to woo Cuba while the U. S. and the world is worried about a hot war between Russia & Ukraine even as another hot war between China & Taiwan appears to also loom on the horizon seems to thrust little Cuba into an awkward position of becoming a catalyst in the looming threats of a possible nuclear holocaust?? In June of 2023 do the new headlines imply that both Russia and China are both wooing Cuba in their dire anti-U.S. crusades?? And, if so -- while the U. S. surely doesn't want nuclear wars with Russia or China -- are some people looking for fresh excuses for the U. S. to attack little non-nuclear Cuba??

     In June of 2023, while Russia and China appear to be making new efforts to woo Cuba as both nuclear powers appear to be heating up disputes with the United States, are revolutionary Cuba's top enemies in nearby Miami eyeing the vulnerable island as ripe for the taking if the United States views Cuba as a dire threat as it supposedly was back in October of 1962?? For Sure, since 1959's victorious Cuban Revolution, powerful forces have sought excuses for the United States to use an all-out military attack to overthrow the Cuban Revolution. Is that what the new June-2023 headlines that link Cuba with Russia and China are all about??

     Since January of 1959 the U. S. has engaged in all-out efforts to overthrow Revolutuonary Cuba, including: The air-land-sea Bay of Pigs military attack in April of 1961; the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 that remains to this day the closest the world has ever come to a nuclear holocaust; and since 1962 the U. S. Economic Embargo Against Cuba has long ago become the cruelest and longest blockade ever imposed by any powerful nation against any much smaller nation. Yet...the overthrow of Revolutionary Cuba has not happened, at least as of June 10th of 2023. But...the top Cuban Headlines on June 10th of 2023 portend ongoing excuses seem to be designed to create the new excuses for overthrowing Revolutionary Cuba.

     The Cuban Headlines on June 10th of 2023, shown above, all scream for the need for the United States to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba in June of 2023 "because" Cuba is being newly courted by both Russia and China, the two most powerful and most warlike enemies of the United States.

   The 1950s were the last time Cuba and the United States were "Good Friends." That was when the U. S. government, along with the Mafia and rich U. S. businessmen, supported the vile Batista dictatorship on the nearby island. That gruesome situtation created the historic Cuban Revolution.

      The triumph of the Cuban Revolution on January 1st of 1959 spawned Little Havana USA in the heart of nearby Miami, Florida. Thus from January of 1959 till June of 2023 Little Havana's inability to recapture Havana has vastly enriched and empowered Little Havana while starving and weakening Havana. Yet, after all of these many decades, on June 10th of 2023 headlines continue to scream reasons for recapturing Havana, such as:

     Of course, the two best reasons on June 10th of 2023 for overthrowing Revolutionary Cuba are allegations that Cuba, being starved by the U. S. Embargo, will accept help from both Russia and China...the two nuclear powers thousands of miles from Cuba while the nuclear power next to Cuba, the United States, remains the powerful nation that Cuba actually needs and desires as its most important friend and most important trade partner.

    Today -- on June 10th of 2023 -- the two images above were taken from a national television Newscast in Cuba. It shows that today Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel is meeting a new friend named Gustavo Petro, the new President of Colombia. Yes, in recent days both Russia and China have sent key officials to Havana to court Cuba in their deepening troubles with the United States regarding Ukraine and Taiwan. But Diaz-Canel expressed to Petro today this sentiment: "Cuba needs friendships with regional countries, such as Colombia and the United States. As you know, Mister President, Cuba is Colombia's friend and Cuba is trying hard to be friends with all other regional governments. That improves us and it improves them too."

Embargo Against Cuba Still Shames US in June of 2023

      The photo above was taken on August 3rd of 1962. It shows President John Kennedy signing Proclamation 3447 into law. This presidential signature legalized the U. S. EMBARGO against Cuba, ending "All Trade With Cuba" and also penalyzing other nations that might want to trade with Cuba. The new law was intended to starve, deprive, and make miserable Cubans on the island to entice them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government, which had shocked the world by overthrowing the U.S./Mafia-backed brutal and thieving Batista dictatorship on January 1st of 1959. Today -- on June 5th of 2023 -- the Proclamation 3447 that legalized the EMBARGO remains in place six+ decades later even though it still has not caused the Cubans in Cuba to overthrow their Cuban Revolution.

      There are, of course, a myriad of reasons that the U. S. Embargo of Cuba has failed but still exists all these many decades later even though it has always miserably harmed generations of Cubans in Cuba as well as miserably impacted the image of the United States and of Democracy for all these decades. And, of course, the prime reason the Embargo has failed and existed all these years is the sheer fact that the American people have been lied to about it for all these 6+ decades, starting with the historic photo above that shows President John Kennedy on August 3rd of 1962 smoking his favorite brand of Cuban cigars. Before signing the Embargo into law, JFK famously had told his Press Secretary Pierre Salinger to get him boxes of cigars mailed to the White House from Cuba. The historic truth of this photo is this: As the new and young Democratic President of the United States, JFK in 1960 had inherited the Republican Eisenhower administration's obssession with recapturing Cuba. So, reluctantly, in April of 1961 JFK approved the infamous Bay of Pigs land-sea-&-air military attack against Cuba. The stupidity surrounding the attack ended up in an emphatic and brilliant defense led by revolutionary icon Fidel Castro himself. Then the next second super thrust to destroy Castro's revolution, following infamous assassination and terrorist attempts, was the equally stupid and cruel Embargo that the still young and cowered JFK signed into law in 1962, the stupid and cruel proclamation that sadly pained JFK for the rest of his life, which sadly ended when he was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 22nd-1963. By then JFK was a young and popular President in his prime and sure to be easily elected to a second 4-year term in 1964, and by then JFK had decided he was strong enough to eliminate the EMBARGO and to NORMALIZE RELATIONS WITH CUBA. Those are truthful and historic facts confirmed in books by five of JFK's top aides, including Pierre Salinger who later became a journalist for ABC News. Yes, if JFK had not been assassinated on November 22nd of 1963, he would have eliminated the EMBARGO and normalized relations with Cuba.

     The truths about the U. S. Embargo of Cuba -- which has existed from August 1962 until June of 2023, with no END IN SIGHT -- has enriched and empowered millions of Americans while cruelly starving, depriving, and making miserable generations of Cubans on the nearby Island.

EU Tries to Help Starving Cubans

     In the 27-nation European Union there have always been a few countries that are brave enough and independent enough to openly voice strong disapproval of the U. S. economic Embargo/Blockade of Cuba that has existed since February of 1962 with no end in sight as we enter June of 2023. The EU, in fact, is still trying to keep Cubans from starving as it defies the ever-tightning U. S. Embargo/Blockade by providing 32% of Cuba's Foreign Trade compared to 8% each from the two main foreign U. S. competitors, China and Russia. In that milieu...the EU in June of 2023 wants to increase its Foreign Trade with the Caribbean's largest and most embattled nation.

 The photo above from Euronews shows Cuba's Minister of Foreign Commerce Ricardo Cabrisas welcoming Joseph Borrell to Havana. Mr. Borrell is the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and he is direly concerned that, as we enter June of 2023, "The Embargo, combined with other factors, continues to cause stavation for Cuban families."

      While there are some importnat and concerned people in the European Union worried that Cuban families are being starved and/or deprived as we enter June of 2023, the top U. S. Cuban Headlines -- while surprisingly even acknowledging Borrell's key humanitarian trip to Cuba -- as always stress top anti-Cuban propaganda sources such as Fox News and the Miami Herald that daily inform Americans how wonderful Little Havana politicians are regarding Cuba.

     The photo and article above shows that anytime some nation or important person tries to help Cubans in Cuba, the members of the U. S. Congress from the Little Havana area of Miami quickly denounce such sane efforts. Above the photo shows Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador after he signed agreements benefitting Cuba with Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel. The article above explains that Little Havana-Miami members of the U. S. Congress Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar made sure to denouce it on behalf of the entire United States.

      And that is the way it has been since 1959 when a handful of rich and powerful Cubans in Little Havana-Miami -- such as Rubio and Salazar -- are allowed to dictate Cuban policy for the entire United States.

        In the decades in which the starvation-designed U. S. Embargo of Cuba has been imposed on the island nation, yearly for over the last three decades almost in unanimity and even once unanimously {189-0} the nations of the World loudly have denounced it. Yet...yearly for decade-after-decade the U. S. democracy allows a handful of rich and powerful Cubans that rule Little Havana-Miami to keep the draconian Embargo in place although it remains a glaring worldwide eyesore for the U. S. and for democracy.

     As May turns into June in 2023, as the latest Cuban headlines confirm, two members of the U. S. Congress representing the Little Havana area of Miami -- Maria Elvira Salazar and Marco Rubio -- can dictate the USA's ageless and draconian policies regarding Cuba. What does that say about the other 533 members of Congress, or the other 340 million Americans, or the entire democratic rule in the United States? One thing it says is that a lot of people in Little Havana-USA have easily attained much wealth and a lot of power since 1959 and with apparently no concern about the suffering of generations of Cubans in Cuba.
