    Today -- June 10-2021 -- in England President Biden, as shown above, told the world that the U. S. in August will start providing 500,000,000 Covid vaccines to poor countries after the U. S. buys them from Pfizer. The island nation of Cuba, which is a very poor country because of the U. S. Embargo/Blockade that began in 1962, is the one nation that will not, of course, get a single vaccine from all that U. S. benevolence. That, of course, is because Biden only takes his Cuban orders only from the likes of vicious Counter Revolutionaries such as Rubio, Menendez, the Diaz-Balart brothers, Claver-Carone, etc., who owe their lifelong financial and political success to vicious and unchecked assaults on Cuban families on the island. Of course, millions of decent Americans are surprised that President Biden is continuing the genocide against Cuban families that his predecessor, President Trump, began. But remember, the U. S. has a two-party political system -- Republican and Democratic -- and both are money-crazed, as are the money-crazed elections that get them elected!!

  Since 2019 the great Brazilian Editorialist/Cartoonist Carlos LaTuff has used brilliant images like the one above to inform the world that the U. S. has taken advantage of the COVID pandemic to further expand its genocide against masses of everyday families in Cuba. Of course, neither the mainstream U. S. media nor this generation of Americans give a damn about genocide being committed against Cuban families on the island in their name...the same media and the same generation that are very quick to accuse a China or a Russia of committing genocide against people "in much smaller countries."

     But, thankfully, there are billions of decent people around the world who are not afraid of the USA's propaganda regarding Cuba...and in the digital age important outlets such as CounterPunch have the courage and integrity to tell the truth about U. S. genocide against Cuban families, such as with the headline depicted above. As you see, the above article is written by W. T. Whitney, who is a retired pediatrician and now an excellent journalist living in Maine.

    In the CounterPunch article above, Cuba is praised for being the smallest nation in the world to produce its own COVID vaccines even as the U. S. blockade tries its best to block the effort. Cuba, for example, is now vaccinating its 11.2 million people but it needs 30,000 syringes to keep doing it. Cuba was buying the syringes from a company in Switzerland but this month of June-2021 the company was purchased by a U. S. company. Thus, the Swiss company quickly informed Cuba it could no longer send any of the badly needed syringes to Cuba. Of course, for the most part neither the mainstream U. S. media nor this generation of Americans have the guts nor the integrity to even mention such things as the U. S. blocking those syringes from reaching Cuba, thus facilitating what billions of decent people around the world believe is criminal genocide against people in a very small country, Cuba, being carried out by a few unchecked people in a very large country, the United States of America!!

     Back in the 1950s Rafael Diaz-Balart was a key Minister in the brutal and thieving U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in Cuba. In January of 1959 the Cuban Revolution defeated the Batista regime, chasing many of its prime leaders to a new haven in nearby Miami. Quickly on U. S. soil Diaz-Balart began creating Little Havana in the heart of Miami, and he built the very first anti-Castro paramilitary group in South Florida, which he called The White Rose. Backed by huge funds from the ousted Batista dictatorship and by even larger funds and resources from the U. S. government, Diaz-Balart and his cohorts believed they could recapture Cuba within a few weeks, or a few months at the most. It, of course, hasn't happened...making Revolutionary Cuba's longevity, 6+ decades and counting, even more incredible than the Revolution!!! Rafael Diaz-Balart was born in Banes, Cuba, in 1926 the year Fidel Castro was born in nearby Biran, Cuba. They were classmates in the University of Havana Law School, and Fidel's first wife was Mirta Diaz-Balart, Rafael's sister. For sure, Rafael Diaz-Balart died in Key Biscayne, Florida in 2005 as a very rich and powerful man, but his obsession of recapturing Cuba had eluded him. Yet, he left his four sons to continue his mammoth goal.

The grilling and intimidation by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart of Antony Blinken today shamed the U. S. and Democracy but pointed out the grip that Little Havana has on the Biden presidency, just as it has dictated America's genocidal policies against innocent Cubans, especially during the three Bush administrations and the one Trump administration.

       If you love democracy enough to read Tracey Eaton's words depicted below on June 7, 2021, you will see how Biden's Secretary of State Antony Blinken today assured Counter Revolutionary zealot Mario Diaz-Balart that the Biden presidency will, like the previous Trump presidency, continue to do Little Havana's biding in enriching and empowering Counter Revolutionary Cubans while continuing Trump's genocide against Cuban families on the island.

      Above, the June 7-2021 introduction by great journalist Tracey Eaton and the Q & A in which Little Havana's Mario Diaz-Balart intimidated and scared President Biden's top foreign-affairs official, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, should serve as a reminder, I believe, that Little Havana's control of the USA's Cuban policies, even after a Democratic administration has replaced a Republican administration in Washington, is becoming tantamount to the power that Mario Diaz-Balart's dad Rafael had in the 1950's in the Batista dictatorship. Since this has happened since Biden replaced Trump as President, there have been whispers in Miami/Little Havana about not only recapturing Havana but also taking control of Washington, first just regarding Cuban policy, which is now apparent, But SECONDLY regarding everything else, which seems more-and-more feasible as the Biden presidency moves ahead.

      During the Trump presidency that ended on Jan. 20-2021, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo dutifully kept announcing increasing the genocide against Cubans on the island while also greatly enriching and empowering Little Havana Cubans. The Trump administration carried out 243 sanctions against Cubans in Cuba or for Cubans in Little Havana. For example, the cruel U. S. Embargo began in 1962 for purpose of starving, depriving, and making miserable the Cubans on the island to induce them to rise up and overthrow their revolutionary government. The original purpose of the Embargo, as proved by de-classified U. S. documents, continues to this day except for the fact that the Cubans have not risen up to overthrow their government. But the infamous Helms-Burton Act, written by lawyers acting at the behest of Little Havana's billionaire Jorge Mas Canosa and Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart, was passed in 1996 and since then has severely enriched and empowered Little Havana Cubans and severely harmed masses of Cubans in Cuba. BUT GUESS WHAT? The Helms-Burton Act has a clause called Title 3 that even the two-term Little Havana-aligned George W. Bush administration refused to activate because even Bush considered it too genocidal to inflict on masses of Cubans on the island although Bush, of course, approved the added means that Title 3 provided for Little Havana Cubans to sue U. S. or FOREIGN companies. But while even the Bush presidency refused to activate Title 3, Trump & Pompeo activated Title 3, which has officially imposed genocide on masses of people on the island and, indeed, has also made is easier for Little Havana Cubans to sue even foreign companies. For example, already in June of 2021 a Swiss company, without even going to a court in Miami to adjudicate it, has agreed to a cash settlement on a case by a Cuban family in Florida. And also, to make it easier for Little Havana Cubans to almost sue anyone they want to sue, in the closing days of the Trump presidency Pompeo announced that Cuba was put on the U. S. List of Terrorist Nations, which remains a joke beneficial to only Little Havana-aligned Cubans and putting Cuba on the Terror List makes it easier for Cubans in the U. S. to sue companies, including foreign companies. Many pay up and settle cases because of the U. S. influence around the world economically.

  As of January 20-2021, Antony Blinken has been President Joe Biden's Secretary of State. Many...yes, billions of decent people in the world...hoped that the Democrats that replaced the Republican leaders in Washington would roll back the genocide imposed by the Trump-Pompeo administration on Cuban families. But it hasn't and WON'T HAPPEN!! You see, the Little Havana Cubans who have had the money and power to dictate Cuban policy to the Republicans since 1959 now have the money and power to also dictate Cuban policy to the Democrats. During all those four years Rubio, facing no checks-and-balances from the rest of the U. S. government, was totally permitted to elevate the cruel 6-decade-old U. S. Embargo against Cuba into a genocidal Blockade of Cuba, which he did!!! During those four years, of course, Rubio's hometown immeasurably increased its already very powerful economic and political base.

       But to the surprise of some, since January 20th of 2021 new Democratic President Joe Biden has anointed Democratic Senator Bob Menendez from Union City/Newark as the new Cuban dictator on U. S. soil. Without a whimper from the propaganda-obsessed mainstream U. S. media nor from the thoroughly propagandized U. S. citizens, the nexus of Little Havana/Miami with Union City/Newark -- the two U. S. Counter Revolutionary Cuban enclaves that have profited the most economically and politically in the U. S. since 1959's victorious Cuban Revolution -- now seem poised to be able to capture Washington even though recapturing Havana has incredibly somehow escaped their grasp!!!

       Secretary of State Mike Pompeo dutifully carried out President Donald Trump's unending and genocidal policies against Cuban families. And as Secretary of State and as Trump's top official on foreign affairs, Pompeo controlled vast tax dollars as well as asinine new U. S. policies designed to vastly help friendly Cuban-Americans and designed to vastly hurt Cubans on the island, all to appease and benefit the rich and powerful Counter Revolutionary zealots.

       But, incredibly, since January 20-2021 Antony Blinken, the new Secretary of State under President Joe Biden, has been just as vicious as his predecessor Pompeo when it comes to hurting Cubans on the island while, at every junction, appeasing the most vicious Counter Revolutionary Cubans, especially the Democrat Menendez but also the Republican Rubio!!! With no mainstream media in the U. S. having the guts or integrity to report accurately on U.S.-Cuban relations, headlines in the past week from Tracey Eaton, the great journalist and professor in Florida, continue to be rare insights into the lucrative but genocidal U. S. assault's on the Cuban people.

      If you happen to be a dissident in Cuba or a Counter Revolutionary zealot in the U. S., you have massive forums, including most of the mainstream media, to tell the world: {1} How the U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship in Cuba in the 1950's was the greatest government in the history of the world; and {2} that the Cuban revolutionary government since 1959 is the worst government in the history of the world. {Those remain the prime propaganda tools that have been so effective in the U. Also, Manuel Tejeda runs an organization, NEMO, that continues to gain powerful support in his herculean efforts to END THE EMBARGO ON CUBA.

      If you visit them on their Social Media pages or follow their street protests against the genocide 'LEGALLY' aimed at innocent Cuban families on the island, you might get to know Manuel Tejeda and Carlos Lazo. The mainstream U. S. media essentially is unable or unwilling to let you know that great Americans like these two men exist. Manuel Tejeda and Carlos Lazo passionately oppose profitable genocide against Cuban families...but, of course, in the United States their opinions are not supposed to exist.

     A Cuban-American professor in Seattle, Carlos Lazo has ridden his bicycle 3,000 miles to Washington, along with some of his students, to beg the White House and members of Congress to end the genocidal Embargo against the island of Cuba. Of course, among those who won't listen to Carlos Lazo have been first President Trump and now President Biden.

      This past Sunday -- May 31st, 2021 -- bicyclists in Havana, inspired by America's Carlos Lazo, are shown above protesting the U. S. Embargo, which Cubans call a Blockade. As you can see above, everyday Cubans watched from the balconies of their homes as the bicyclists passed by. That same day, in addition to Havana, major cities such as London, Toronto, Los Angeles, Madrid, etc., etc., had similar protests.

     Meanwhile, everyday farmers and other Cubans on the island are the prime targets of the USA's Cuban policies designed to enrich and empower certain people at the expense of more decent, but also more vulnerable, people. During both the Trump & Biden presidencies the U. S. has taken advantage of the COVID Pandemic to tighten the genocide against Cuban families on the island.

    In America's money-crazed Two-Party Political System, the Republican Marco Rubio has now been replaced by the Democrat Bob Menendez as the Cuban dictator in the United States.      This photo shows the Cuban National Team arriving in West Palm Beach, Florida this last week May-2021 to participate in the 8-team pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will be played May 1st till June 5th in West Palm and St. Lucie in Florida. The other 7 teams in the event are the U. S., Canada, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Cuba's first game will be on Monday, May 1st, against Venezuela. The winner of this overall event in Florida will then be awarded one of the six spots in the Summer Olympics to be played in Japan starting in July. Please note: U. S. soil, especially in Florida, is very hostile for Cuba as well as two nations -- Venezuela and Nicaragua -- that the U. S. government severely punishes because of their friendship to Cuba. And as soon as the Cuban baseball team arrived in West Palm Beach, the insatiable U. S. antagonism against the Cuban players came into fruition, which was not at all unanticipated!!!

      Twenty-two-year-old Cesar Prieto was the star infielder for the Cuban team that arrived in Florida for the pre-Olympic Qualifying Baseball Tournament late Wednesday. The photo above was used as the BBC's renowned journalist Will Grant said Prieto was setting batting records in Cuba while playing for Cienguegos. As Prieto arrived at the team's hotel, the Hilton in Palm Beach, Will Grant reported that he got into a waiting car and was quickly whisked away. He, of course, surely knew the car would be waiting for him. Obviously, Prieto is considered a Major League prospect and, of course, unsavory human traffickers and baseball agents plan to cash in on his eventual U. S. contract. Regarding the "legality" of that aspect of U.S.-Cuban relations, politicians in Florida and in the U. S. Congress have made sure that it is totally legal from the standpoint of two things: {1} Money; and {2} merely hurting the baseball-loving Cuban people on the island. Anyone who denies that fact it telling you a lie.

     To understand the gutless and cowardice U. S. contempt for decency and for its democratic principles, please note the article depicted above from USA Today written by Cesar Brioso and published on April 9, 2019. The title of the article told Americans: "OPINION: TRUMP'S SCUTTLING OF MLB-CUBA DEAL MEANS DEFECTIONS, HUMAN TRAFFICKING WILL CONTINUE." In other words, the sheer indecency of the U. S. dealings with Cuba scuttled an agreement that Major League Baseball had signed with Cuban Baseball so that Cuban players would be treated almost the same as other foreign players as far as the U. S. Major League teams were concerned. MLB wanted to keep unsavory agents and human traffickers from profiting so mightily by persuading and helping Cuban players to defect and then sign lucrative Major League contracts that the agents and human traffickers would share in. Of course, all decent people agreed with the deal...except, of course, the people dictating President Trump's genocidal four-year cruelty against Cuba that was designed to severely punish Cubans on the island, enrich Cubans in Miami/Little Havana, and also enrich certain people involved in the genocide and ransacking of Cuba. In that milieu, President Trump's prime Cuban dictator in the U. S., Senator Marco Rubio from Miami/Little Havana, quickly vetoed that decent and sane agreement between Major League Baseball and Cuba's Baseball Federation...and OF COURSE, every unsavory baseball agent and human trafficker in the Caribbean and Florida rejoiced!!

       In the two graphics depicted above, the USA Today clearly chronicled the sheer indecency of how the Trump administration vetoed the decent and sane agreement signed by Major League Baseball and Cuba in 2019. Moreover, what happened this week -- in this last week of May of 2021 -- shows that the new Biden administration in Washington also doesn't have either the guts or the integrity to correct any of the Trump administration's indecency and insanity against Cubans on the island.

      In other words, in America's money-crazed two-Party political system, Democratic President Joe Biden has his own vicious Cuban dictator, the controversial Senator Bob Menendez from Union City/Newark.

      And in other words, Trump's Cuban dictator Rubio and Biden's Cuban dictator Menendez merely continue the shame to the U. S. democracy that began in earnest back in 1952 when the U. S. teamed with the top echelon of the Mafia to support the brutal, thieving Batista dictatorship in Cuba.

In other words, Ginger Thompson remains a thorn in the butts of otherwise mostly unchecked miscreants in the ultra-powerful U. S. who for decades have had lucrative pathways to exploiting targeted nations deemed vulnerable and exploitable. Regarding Revolutionary Cuba, the little revolution that defeated a brutal & thieving U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed dictatorship, any journalist in the U. S. who reports the unbiased truth tends to get car-bombed like Emilio Milian in Miami or summarily gets fired or bludgeoned. Note that Sesin above is mocking Cuban families on the island who are praying that one of the five vaccines that Cuba is developing will be efficacious enough to curb the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic on the island. Sesin, instead of spewing anti-Cuban propaganda, could have explained that...or explain that the well-educated, well informed, and Internet/Social Media-savvy Cubans in Cuba believe that the Trump-Biden tightening of the Embargo/Blockade is, along with trying to starve Cuban families on the island, currently taking advantage of COVID-19 to further to eviscerate Cubans on the island to appease a few "nice" Cubans such as Rubio & Menendez...and apparently to appease the bank accounts of rich corporations than now own major news operations such as NBC News.

      Of course, when it comes to Cuba the propaganda media in the U. S. never cares about the plight of Cubans on the island nor about their opinions, only about the opinions of the unholy people in the U. S. -- especially in Miami and in Congress -- who benefit so massively, economically and politically, from their unchecked and unsavory control of the USA's Cuban policies, which means rich U. S. Cubans get richer and richer while Cubans in Cuba get POORER and POORER!! Rosy Amaro, the young journalist and young mother shown above, has twice received lucrative, guaranteed offers from a well-known Cuban-American communications executive in Miami. And twice she has refused it. While there are millions of Cubans, and others, yearning to get and make their fortunes in the U. S., Cuba is unique in having millions of Cubans on the island willing to still fight-to-the-death in support of their families, their sovereignty, and their Cuban Revolution. So, the Celia Sanchez-like Rosy Amaro is a typical Cuban on the island. Moreover, she is extremely smart, well-educated, and vastly more decent than the miscreants in the U. S. who benefit so much from tormenting generations of Cuban children that Rosy Amaro verily adores. Meanwhile, the propagandists in the U. S. media are obliged to salivate about the plight of Cuban families on the island to appease and benefit unsavory people in a foreign, nearby, and much-more powerful nation. 

       The U. S. democracy, I believe, took a drastic hit when the Supreme Court allowed individual and corporate multi-billionaires to pour virtually unlimited ,dollars into political campaigns. Now multi-billionaire individuals and corporations can buy main media outlets and turn them into vast propaganda dispensers. For sure, in classic capitalist form, it creates many other multi-millionaires who are involved in producing the unending stream of nauseous commercials that bombard Americans around-the-clock, but all other great nations would not allow their citizens to be bombarded so cruelly.  And when money can dictate the elections of people to high positions that otherwise would not have the decency, intelligence, or skills to be useful dog-catchers in a tiny town, then the U. S. democracy is in dire straits. I also believe that the biggest threat to the U. S. democracy involves what has happened to the institution of journalism in the United States of America. For example, when 330 million Americans are persuaded to not be ashamed of the image depicted below, the America that the Founding Fathers envisioned is now one that does not exist.

     In that milieu, since 1962 the U. S. Embargo against the island of Cuba has existed for all these decades for the same reason that the U. S. elections now exist to make millionaires and billionaires out of the cretins involved in saturating screens with all those nauseous political commercials. In other words, those political commercials will continue to proliferate just like the Embargo of Cuba has continued to proliferate since 1962: "HEY...DON'T MIND WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT THE U. S. DEMOCRACY OR WHAT INSANITY IS SHOVES DOWN THE THROATS OF DECENT AMERICANS!!! AFTER ALL...CAPITALISM RULES, RIGHT?"

     Now that May-2021 is almost over, the poor little Embargoed/Blockaded island nation of Cuba is trying desperately to develop five vaccines to curb the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, most of the island's 11.2 million people believe that a few Embargo/Blockade supporters in the U. S. who have benefited economically and politically from that strangulation of masses of innocent Cubans are now using the U. S. Democracy to try to keep Cubans on the island from benefiting from the COVID-19 vaccines that people on the island are praying will prove to be efficacious...as soon as possible. Of course, as shown at the top of this post, much of the mainstream media in the U. S. is busy mocking Cuba's efforts to produce its own effective pandemic-easing vaccines despite the ever-tightening U. S. EMBARGO-BLOCKADE!!

      In 1959 no island nation remotely close to Cuba's size was expected to defeat a brutal dictator supported by the strongest criminal organization in the world and by the strongest nation in the world. And now, midway through 2021, there are predictions that the addition of the COVID-19 pandemic will finally doom the island, despite the hopes that the great Editorial Cartoonist Carlos LaTuff seems to be expressing above.
