The results of the 2024 U. S. Presidential Election will be released to the world on November 5th and the Caribbean island of Cuba will also come more into focus then. So at the end of October in 2024 the headline and article by Reuters, the world's best news agency, will foreshadow if the 65 years of rule by the pugnatious Cuban Revolution ends or somehow continues. So...what will REPLACE it?????????
The London-based Reuters News Agency is the world's best news source regarding the best news about Cuba and from Cuba. So study this week's massively important article about Cubal, including the opening words shown above.
At the end of October in 2024 above the top worldwide headlines agree that Cuba's revolutionary government will not survive dire economic situations on the island.
The map above reflects the 1950s when Cuba was thriving economically because the superpower United States wildly supported the Batista dictatorship, promoting massive tourism to the island and massive U. S. businesses as well as massive Mafia businesses on the island. But still the tyranical Batista was overthrown by the Cuban Revoluion on January 1, 1959...and everything changed. But Batista and his rich supporters from the U. S. failed to spread any of all money around to the majority peasants, the everyday Cubans who supported the rebels that were promising free medical care for all and free educations throught college.
And, so, since January 1st of 1959 the United States has embarked on a massive effort to overthrow the Cuban Revolution, including the U. S. Economic EMBARGO that has surrounded the vulnerable island since 1962, and finally after six+ decades it has caused the collapse of Cuba, as the aforementioned headlines cogently suggest. Of course, all observers believed the overthrow would only take a few weeks, not six+ decades!!!!
So this is a modern map of Cuba, a very close U. S. neighbor that soon will again see a massive influx of U. S. dollars that will flood the island to revive the Carribean's largest nation. At least for a time, it is assumed that some of the new financial windfall this time will benefit the everyday Cuban families.
