Miami Alone Controls the US Cuba Narrative.

In a Democracy with 330 million People!!! 

  Since the Cuban Revolution managed to overthrow the U.S.--backed/Mafia-backed Batista rule of Cuba in 1959, generations of Cubans in nearby Little Havana-Miami have dictated the USA's Cuban policies...a financial and political bonanza for them and continuous, well-orchestrated disasters for Cubans on the island. Little Havana's power, like Batista's power in Cuba in the 1950s, is tied to the fact that sycophants in the guise of very rich U. S. businesses and political parties also partook/partake in the Cuban largess that includes economic benefits via juicy Congressional and White House legalities such as extremely legalized laws such as the extremely and endlessly convenient acts such as Torricelli, Helms-Burton, etc., etc., etc...all of which, of course, include massive economic and political rewards for some along with massive cruelty for others. Decade after decade such luscious rewards predicate, extend, and expand what long-ago became the cruelest and longest Embargo/Blockade ever imposed by a powerful nation against the people in a much smaller nation. Within the bowels of the U. S. DEMOCRACY it doesn's matter if most U. S. citizens and most citizens of the world are APPALLED BY THIS PHENOMENON. What does matter are the fantastic economic and POLITICAL rewards that accrue to a minority of miscreants who lap-up the bulk of the off-shoots of the USA's non-democratic Cuban policies. To agree with these universal beliefs is of no use because MONEY, MONEY, MONEY trumps all else when it comes to the USA's age-old view of the Caribbean's most coveted prize....Cuba!! It has been that way for the past two centuries at least...and especially since 1898 when the Spanish-American War in Cuba gave the prized island nation to the world's most notable DEMOCRACY!! On March 20th-2022 the journalist-author who best addressed the U. S. domination of Cuba, as shown above, is Mexico's Gerardo Arreola:

     For sure, in both the article today and in the new book above, on March 20-2022 Gerardo Arriola had the guts to speak truths about Cuba as it exists in the clutches of Little Havana/Miami. But he is merely honest, not pro-Cuba at all. Yet, he displays both the courage and the insight to express the fact that the Cuban Revolution & Revolutionary Cuba say a lot more about the United States than they say about the island of Cuba. Of course, such factual situations within the bowels of the U.S.-Cuba conundrum would never have occurred if democratic ideals had ever been applied.

     For sure, most facts/nuances of the USA's relations with Cuba do not reflect nice images of Democracy, YET they persist decade-after-decade...prolonged by reflections of such things as a feisty little Cuban schoolgirl bouncing off the Embargo hat of the USA's Uncle Sam.

    While it is wonderful that Cuban brothers can easily become billionaires in the U. S. or other Cuban brothers can easily become ultra-powerful politicians in the U. S., perhaps it would also be nice if some moderate Cubans would also be allowed to have INPUT in such areas, areas such as legalizing or not LEGALIZING a cruel embargo/blockade that involves starving families on the island of Cuba, among its other very controversial provisions!!

A greedy, cruel, red-eyed United States shames some people.

And it should shame all Americans!!

Cuba's Biggest Worry

    Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel was born after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution but in March of 2022 he is a strong supporter of the revolution. And, contrary to what the Miami press claims, he has the strong support from most of the island's 13 million citizens. Well-known from his years as Cuba's Education Minister, he is also a strong communicator in both the state media and on his frequent street walks with everyday Cubans. Since 2018 he has led Cuba during two dire perils -- the U. S. Embargo that has existed since 1962 and has been greatly expanded by both of the USA's last two Presidents, Trump and Biden; and by the the Covid Pandemic. In walks such as the one above Diaz-Canel informed his people that his two top concerns -- even above the Blockade and the Pandemic -- are: (1) The excess of new U. S. money being devoted to fund dissent on the island; and {2} the defections from the island of so many of Cuba's youngest and best-educated young citizens. On the very walk shown above, Diaz-Canel repeated, "The U. S. funding and the defections are, of course, related and it currently involves the prime effort by Miami and Washington to regain control of Cuba."

     Above the respected journalist Lucia Rojas wrote this insightful article this week, and she happens to be a journalist in Cuba who understands the Cuban people and reports honestly about what she observes. And above Lucia Rojas informs us about what President Diaz-Canel most worries about, which is young & well-educated Cubans like the young woman depicted above constantly leaving the island for richer havens. As you can see in the first paragraph above, President Diaz-Canel calls it "the generational challenge within our revolutionary project." And whether or not Miami understands it or not, that is what Cuba's leader has as his prime project in March of 2022, even above the Blockade and the Pandemic.

Little Havana Hurts Miami too!!

 

     Little Havana has existed in the heart of Miami since January of 1959, or right after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution over the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia dictatorship on the nearby island. In the last six+ decades, Little Havana has been unable to regain control of Havana but, fully supported by the Superpower U. S., it has created an unending string of Cuban millionaires and billionaires in Miami while creating grave hardship, some say genocide, against generations of Cubans on the island.

     Since 1989, when the Bush dynasty {above} began sending only the fieriest Havana-born Counter Revolutionary Cubans in Miami to Washington -- such as Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, etc., etc., etc. -- extremist Cuban-Americans have dictated the USA's Cuban policies in the manner Fulgencio Batista-Meyer Lansky dictated it from Havana prior to 1959...by permitting rich U. S. businessmen, via kickbacks, to partake in the wholesale rape & robbery of Batista's Cuba. Although it will be roundly disputed by powerful, self-serving Americans to this DAY in March-2022, it has been a long-standing and on-going affront to Democracy to allow only the minority Counter Revolutionary Cubans to dictate America's Cuban policies. ln other words, that leaves out the participation of the majority {and presumably} the best Cuban-Americans...such as the professor from Seattle Carlos Lazo, the great and wealthy Miami businessman Frank Del Rio, Dr. Anmari Alvarez-Aleman, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.

    This is Dr. Anmari Alvarez-Aleman. She is one of the world's greatest marine biologists, and she is surely one of Cuba's and Florida's greatest treasures. Like many great and decent Cuban-Americans, Dr. Alvarez-Aleman prays for decent cooperation between Cuba and Florida. She is aware that Cuba has long had the region's best program regarding marine life...its shore waters and its natural environs. And she wants Cuba's help in helping Florida improve its waters and its natural environs.

    The written words of the great Dr. Anmari Alvarez-Aleman and by the famed Florida Humanities Journal shown above reveal the dire need of Cuba and Florida to work together on mutually beneficial projects, of which there are many. Yet, of course, that has not been possible because, since 1959, self-serving Counter Revolutionary extremists in Miami have not permitted such cooperation. For EXAMPLE:

    Every marine Biologist in Florida is well aware that Cuba for decades has had the best defense against Hurricanes, far superior than any other nation in the Western Hemisphere has. In August of 2005 every prognosticator in Cuba and Florida was well aware that the murderous Hurricane Katrina was about to annihilate the low areas of the great U. S. city of New Orleans. Cuba BEGGED the Miami-aligned Bush administration to allow it to send 1500 of its renowned hurricane experts, along with their bags filled with necessary supplies, to New Orleans before Katrina hit. The Bush administration refused the urgent request from Havana. From 2005 till 2022 decent experts are still contemplating how many lives those Cuban hurricane experts could have/would have saved if they had been allowed to fly to New Orleans on their life-saving mission!!!!

    Of course, The Cuban Narratives in the U. S. since 1959 don't allow true discussions of even dire acts related to Miami's dictations of the USA's Cuban issues. Thus, since 1959 self-serving entities such as the Bush economic & political dynasty are never held accountable, not even for disasters such as Katrina!!!!

It doesn't matter if {above} such things are known.

     But just for the historical record, please take note of the two Cuban hurricane experts who waited in Havana while they and 1500 others like them were begging the Bush White House to let them fly to New Orleans so THEY COULD SAVE LIVES during Hurricane Katrina. And just for the record, those two Cuban doctors/hurricane experts shown above were/are named Luis Sanchay and Marta Fernandez. But of course, Americans have never bothered to thank Luis or Marta for what they so badly wanted to do, which was to save lives in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. You see, Cubans in Cuba like Luis & Marta are the "bad guys" as far as the Cuban narratives in the U. S. since 1959 tell it.

Endlessly Defaming Cuba's Media

 

    Yesterday -- March 14-2022 -- was National Press Day in Cuba. After a long and typical day on state television news in Havana, these 8 journalists celebrated with drinks and brownies. All 8, including the 8-year-old who is a daughter of an anchor, sincerely believe they are well-educated, honest, proud, and true journalists. Of course, they are abundantly aware that the U. S. media as well as pro-U.S. journalists in Cuba spend 24-hours-a-day defaming their journalism and their integrity.

    Today -- March 15- 2022 -- these are the typical daily five headlines defaming Cuba by Diario-de-Cuba, one of the plethora of powerful outlets that exist to defame and destroy Revolutionary Cuba. This has been been going on since January of 1959, the month that the Cuban Revolution evicted the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafiosi rule of Cuba off the island...all the way to Miami.

     Today -- March 15-2022 -- here is a Major Article by Diario-de-Cuba that has been quickly picked up by Havana Times and other anti-Cuban outlets...as you can see above. Needless to say, this article about a black Cuban who was a News Anchor on a top nightly newscast in Cuba is a prime revelation because it grossly defames Cuba. It explains that Yunior Smith Rodriguez is now in Mexico about ready to cross the open border into a safe haven...and presumably a rich life...in the United States. The first line above reveals that he "wanted to 'escape all the rotten shit, the lies, and the desperation.'" That explanation splashed around Facebook and other Social Media as well as by the usual suspects in the media surely is a nice entrée for Yunior's entry into the U.S., probably Miami.

    Every single day since January of 1959 Revolutionary Cuba has been forced to fend off desperate efforts by Miami Cubans and the Superpower United States to regain control of the Caribbean's largest island nation. Three notable times in history Fidel Castro announced that he would help Cubans who wanted to defect to the U. S. to get there. The most famous of those times was the Mariel Boat Lift in 1980 when some 125,000 Cubans used the opportunity to leave Cuba for nearby Florida. History correctly registers the fact that Fidel Castro famously wanted to empty his jails...presumably sending such problems to Miami, where most of them landed.

     While the U. S. media and U. S. historians mostly ignore inconvenient facts about the Mariel Boat Lift, four Hollywood superstars -- as shown above -- produced a 1983 movie named Scarface, which remains a popular classic that bloodily told the story of the Al Pacino character who arrived in the Port of Miami thanks to the Fidel Castro-orchestrated Mariel Boat Lift. The movie starts with actual black-and-white video of Cubans arriving at the Port of Miami...and then follows "Al Pacino's" fictional path to becoming the Cuban drug king of Miami. Surely, both before and after 1980's Mariel Boat Lift...and both before and after 1983's Scarface...there have been nice Cubans and millions of others who wanted to get to the U. S. for legitimate, nice reasons. But within the bowels of the U.S.-Cuban equation, there are often two-sides of what is often only depicted as one-side of events, especially events such as...the Cuban Revolution, the Mariel Boat Lift, Scarface, etc., etc., etc.!!!!!

      This is a popular News Anchor on state television in Cuba. She is smart, well-educated, talented, and a young mother. She has flown to major cities in Europe and Asia and she has no plans to defect to the United States. Therefore, unlike defecting baseball stars and Cuban anchors like the aforementioned Yunior Smith Rodriguez, she will never be mentioned in the U. S. media. Yet, she considered herself a proud Cuban journalist and she believes that most Cubans on the island love and respect her. In the above photo she is shown as she herself was being interviewed when she flew to a Latin American capital city on a story. She had just been asked, "Will the blockade of your country ever be ended?" She said, "Maybe, if Miami ever shows some compassion for families on the island."

    Here she is shown interviewing the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, on a street in Cuba. Once on Cuba's most-watched television news program, the Round Table, Diaz-Canel mentioned her name and thanked her for "criticizing my government two times recently when she believed everyday Cuban workers were not being treated fairly by the government. I want others to criticize us in that manner and I will thank them too."

    Born after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, President Diaz-Canel since 2018 has been a strong and popular leader of Cuba. Truth be known, it has been estimated that 80% of Cuba's 13 million people love Diaz-Canel and would vote for him in a democratic election today. And they know him well from his days as the island's popular Education Minister. Americans have known presidents Trump and Biden well and either one of them would love to be able to be rated as high as 50% in popularity polls. And Gallup, America's top poll, now reveals that most Americans don't trust their mainstream U. S. media, the same media...along with the plethora of sheer anti-Cuban mushrooming media outlets...that daily report how terrible Diaz-Canel and the Cuban media are. Well, what is more terrible than a genocidal 60-year-old blockade by the "good" people in a powerful country against the "bad" people in a small country?? Could it be that "bad" people are the ones doing it to the "good" people???????

     For sure, it was President Trump who expanded the cruel 6-decade-old Embargo of Cuba into a genocidal Blockade of Cuba, and then President Biden beginning in January-2021 has continued President Trump's genocide. Perhaps, the U. S. media might mention such a significant thing.

The Blockade-War-Pandemic Plagues Cuba

    Cuba is blessed with the best beaches in the world and many of them are just below the southern tip of Florida. Yet, to {for one thing} protect Florida's trillion-dollar tourism industry, the six-decade-old+ U. S. Embargo -- which has been severely and cruelly tightened by both the Trump & Biden presidencies -- tries to destroy Cuba's economy, especially its tourist sector. And now in March-2022, Cuba battles the COVID Pandemic and the bloody Russian-Ukranian War too.

     Surrounding the gorgeous Cuban beaches, which rate far higher in international polls than any in Florida, are gorgeous 5-Star hotels maintained by Madrid-based Hotel & Resorts giants Iberostar & Melia. Yet, three factors that Cuba oppose -- the blockade, the pandemic, and the war -- may be combining to finally starve Cuba completely.

     Today -- on March 11-2022 -- both UK's Reuters News and the USA's NBC News blasted the above headline and sub-headline around the world.

    The Reuters News and NBC News updates above on March 11-2022 accurately report on the extreme cruelty facing Cuban families on the island because of...the Blockade, the War, and the Pandemic.

    This is Cuba's Veradero Beach earlier this week right after 8,000 Russians had departed in two days because of the Russian War in Ukraine. Canadians with flights from Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa also have loved Cuba's beaches and cays...and bucked the U. S. embargo/blockade millions of times in 2016 and 2017 when President Obama had briefly normalized relations with Cuba...very briefly prior to the extreme cruelty of Trump and then Biden.

     Genocidal Blockades against masses of families in any small country should not be HAPPENING ANYWHERE...certainly not in March of 2022!!!
