A BLOODY Venezuelan Attack!!

At this Pentagon news conference on April 1, 2020, the United States launched a powerful military force into the seas around Venezuela. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, announced that it is an "anti-drug mission against narco-trafficker Venezuela."
The powerful U. S. military threat just off the northern coast of Venezuela signals to many that the forces in the Trump administration are determined to follow the recent anti-Cuba coup in Bolivia with two more anti-Cuba regime-changes -- in Venezuela and Nicaragua -- while Trump remains President, which is at least until November's next presidential election.
This BBC map shows how Venezuela is now surrounded with the U. S. military controlling the seas north of Venezuela with U.S.-ally Colombia on its eastern coast and U.S.-ally Brazil on its western coast. With right-wing Presidents -- Jair Bolsonaro and Ivan Duque -- now major Trump allies in Brazil and Colombia, the sequence for executing a regime-change in Venezuela is perfectly in place. It may have started TODAY -- Sunday, May 3rd-2020 -- with an attack at La Guaira, the coastal city 20 miles/32km from Venezuela's capital of Caracas!!! Note La Guaira's location on this map.
On Venezuelan television Sunday -- April 3, 2020 -- Interior Minister Nester Reverol announced that "a mercenary force from Colombia attacked Venezuela at La Guaira 32km/20 miles from Caracas. Venezuelan soldiers quelled the invasion, killing 8 of the invaders and capturing two others."
Both the AP and Global News have reported that U. S. Special Ops Soldiers have been training 300 deserters from the Venezuelan army in Colombia to invade Venezuela.
It is assumed that Colombia is powerfully supporting the U. S. effort to force a regime-change in Venezuela. Colombia's new President, Ivan Duque, took office in August 2019 and his handshake above with U. S. President Donald Trump presumably was a prelude to a Venezuelan War. It is interesting that Trump's and Duque's excuse for attacking Venezuela is because "Venezuela is a major narco-trafficker." Of course, for many decades the U. S. has poured billions of dollars into Colombia, but it remains THE prime source of illegal drugs into the United States.
Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido got permission from Miami and Washington before, back in January of 2019, he proclaimed himself President of Venezuela replacing the "illegitimate presidency of dictator Nicolas Maduro." Guaido firmly believed, supplied with U. S. economic and military support, he would quickly defeat Maduro and be acknowledged by the U. S. and at least 50 or so U. S. allies as President of Venezuela.
Since January of 2019 Juan Guaido or his associates have regularly visited President Trump's White House seeking U. S. help in expediting the regime-change in Venezuela, but it has stalled much longer than expected.
Representing the vicious anti-Cuban forces in Miami and Newark, three U. S. Senators are known to be leaders of the regime-change coups in Bolivia, which already occurred, and now in Cuba-friendly Venezuela and Nicaragua, which are considered the last two REGIME CHANGES before the prime regime-change in Cuba. Senators Bob Menendez from Newark and Marco Rubio from Miami have spent their entire economic and political careers trying to defeat Revolutionary Cuba. Senator Rick Scott, the former two-time Governor of Florida, is...like Jeb Bush and many other non-Floridians...flocked to Florida to further their bank accounts and political careers by aligning 100% with the Counter Revolutionary Cubans who dictate Florida politics. So, Menendez, Rubio, and Scott have, both in written statements and in person, have appealed...successfully...to President Trump, the State Department, and the Pentagon generals to take care of the already taken-care-of Bolivia and to now take care of Venezuela and Nicaragua before taking care of Cuba.
Today's attack -- April 1, 2020 -- on the coastal beaches at La Guaira just 20 miles from Caracas perhaps signal anew the passionate resolve of war-mongers Menendez, Rubio, and Scott to take care of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua while Trump is still President, which might be only six more months. With the U. S. military already controlling the seas north of Venezuela, and with Colombia on its eastern border and Brazil on its western border, Venezuela probably has just two choices: {1} Negotiate some type of surrender; or {2} to fight. Aided by Russia and China, Venezuela has a surprisingly strong military but it is fragmented...and, in any case, Venezuela against the United States, Colombia, and Brazil is militarily a no-win situation for Venezuela.
For sure, Trump's generals have more firepower than Maduro's generals. And moreover, at the above News Conference on April 1, 2020, Trump revealed his excuse -- or pretext -- for his Venezuelan War. He called it a "ANTI-NARCOTIC OPERATION" as named by the war billboard right behind him. To go to war...YOU MUST HAVE A PRETEXT AND A BATTLE CRY, you know...such as "REMEMBER THE MAINE!!!"
With Cuba the catalyst in both instances, "Anti-Narcotic Operation" in 2020 reminds me of "Remember the Maine!" because they were both concocted as pretexts for the U. S. to capture Cuba. The U. S. warship USS Maine was sent to Havana where it exploded on Feb. 15, 1898...killing 266 young U. S. sailors. Prior to the USS Maine the U. S. newspaper publishers and politicians were clamoring to finally capture Cuba from Spain...but they needed a pretext to go to war. The bloody explosion of the USS Maine was the pretext for the easy Spanish-American War fought solely on Cuban soil in 1898. "Remember the Maine!" Did Spain do it? Uh...not likely!! Over-extended Spain knew it couldn't win such a war at the USA's backdoor and it was doing everything to prevent such a war. But hell. Pretexts for war only need the right excuse...to capture Cuba in 1898 or to RE-capture Cuba in 2020 while Trump is still President. In the photos above you saw where President Trump had his top Generals, including TOP GENERAL Mark Willey, beside him when he revealed his pretext on April 1-2020 to go to war with Venezuela -- you know, the "Anti-Narcotic Operation." Well, the USA's pretexts to go to War are numerous...including OPERATION NORTHWOODS.
De-classified finally in 1997 by great investigative journalists, Operation Northwoods was presented by America's top generals...via a 7-0 unanimity of the Joint Chiefs led by Lyman Lemnitzer...to President John Kennedy. It was a pretext to recapture Cuba. Among other heinous acts, it called for totally innocent Americans to be murdered to serve as a pretext to go to war against Revolutionary Cuba. Despite the concrete evidence that clearly defined Operation Northwoods, the top generals responsible for devising it and advocating it were never remotely held accountable. Pretexts...excuses...for going to war are often as despicable as...war's themselves. And little Cuba, unfortunately, has been the victim of some of the most notable USA's excuses to capture or re-capture the island.
