US Venezuela Actions Tied to Miami's Cuba Obsession

Late in 2025 it is Vital

Little Havana in nearby Miami Florida is just a few miles from Havana Cuba. All maps testify to that truth. But the rest of the narratives about Little Havana and Havana are mostly propaganda lies from both sides. All of that attests to what remains of a tragic truth for both Cuba and the United States since the Batista-to-Castro transition in 1959 on the Caribbean's largest nation. Finally, as December-2025 is about to turn into January-2026, a coda is about to drastically change that calculation. The headlines depicted below reveal that the United States, as determined by U. S. President Donald Trump and his powerful Miami-born/Cuban-American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, appear about to finally register regime changes in both Venezuela, Cuba's historic ally, and in Cuba. The mid-December 2025 update by Reuters, the London-based international News Agency, is shown below:

The above update in mid-December of 2025 seems to indicate that the regime changes in Venezuela and Cuba are about to occur. It has, as a matter of fact, been happening since February 3rd in 1962. That was the date when President John F. Kenneky signed a law that the U. S. government calls Proclamation 3447.
The notorious Proclamation 3447 became legal on February 3rd in 1962 and it authorized the superpower United States to create a fierce economic EMBARGO against Cuba. The drastic EMBARGO, which Cuba has always called a Blockade, was devised by the U. S. to ovethrow Revolutionary Cuba after such other drastic efforts by the U. S. and Little Havana had failed -- including many assassination attempts against Fidel Castro, including the April-1961 air-land-sea Bay of Pigs military attack had failed, and other Miami-Washington efforts had failed to eliminate Fidel Castro or his Cuban Revolution.
The historic photo above shows President John Kennedy signing Proclamation 3447 into law on February 3, 1962. For many decades since February of 1962 the true details of Proclamation 3447's EMBARGO have been hidden from the American people. For example, according to declassified U. S. documents, the purpose of the economic EMBARGO was "to starve, deprive, and make miserable\" the Cuban people to induce them to rise up and overthrow their revolutionary government. For sure, the infamous 3447 has starved, deprived, and made miserable generations of Cubans on the island. But as 2025 is about to end, not even 3447 has induced the Cubans on the island to overthrow their revolutionary government.
Another major lie about Proclamation 3447 is the true fact that President Kennedy just before he ordered Press Secretary Pierre Salinger to order and then receive a supply of famed Cuban cigars before he signed Proclamation 3447 into law. Like many others, President Kennedy knew that Cuba produced the best cigars in the world. And yes, he waited for Salinger to tell him the cigars had arrived before he legalized the EMBARGO against Cuba.
But perhaps the biggest lie about Proclamation 3447/EMBARGO is the fact that the young president, John Kennedy, strongly did not want to SIGN Proclamation 3447 into law. But he did so because he feared the power of the CIA that spearheaded efforts to eliminate Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution. But later in 1962 and 1963 President Kennedy, buoyed by his massive popularity, felt he was strong enough as Preisent to defy the CIA and Miami/Little Havana regarding Cuba. It is a historic fact, for example, that one day an exasperated Kennedy walked into the Oval Office and emphatically gestured as he shouted, "If I had the chance I would blow the CiA into smithereens!!" That day in the Oval Office were members of Kennedy's brilliant staff of newsmen, speech writers, and historians that observed that Oval Office incident, and from them is how we know it actually happened.
In December of 2025 the notable photographer Vladimi Molina took this photo of this Cuban sunrise. Perhaps he believed it would be one of the last sunrises in revolutionary Cuba and thus Molina posted this one on Facebook. Since 1962 a lot of Cuban sunrises and sunsets have come and gone. And in all of those many decades, Proclamation 3447 has been a precursor of what has happened...in Cuba

Cuba is mired in the US-Venezuela Dispute

 With the whole Caribbean involved!!

For weeks the massive military U. S. presence in the Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela has hinted at an imminent regime change in Venezuela that will eliminate President Maduro whom the U. S. blames for massive illegal drug shipments to North America. Cuba was once a key Venezuelan ally dating back to the pre-Maduro period when the Castro-loving Hugo Chavez ruled Venezuela. But now Cuba in December of 2025 is still viewed by the U. S. as a prime supporter of Maduro although international headlines reveal that Cuba is busy merely trying to feed its people while also repeatedly being unable to prevent island-wide power blackouts for extended times.
Prior to Maduro, Hugo Chavez was the powerful leader of oil-rich Venezuela and he worshipped Cuba's powerful leader Fidel Castro. Thus during that period Venezuela shipped Cuba so much oil that Cuba was able to even sell some of it to other countries. But Chavez died from cancer in Caracas at age 58 in 2013 and Castro died from old age at age 90 in Havana in 2016. The Cubans in Miami and the U. S. government in Washington tightened their screws on both Venezuela and Cuba following the deaths of Chavez and Castro. Since then during the post-Chavez/Castro eras in Venezuela and Cuba, the tougher U. S. sanctions against both countries have helped contribute to dire financial conditions, even massive poverty for everyday Venezuelans and Cubans even though to this day it is believed that Venezuela still has the world's largest known oil reserves. In recent years the populations of both Venezuela and Cuba have declined sharply, leaving less than 30,000 citizens in Venezuela and less than 10,000 people in Cuba.
Above the Major headlines in early December-2025 from Reuters, Fox News, and YouTube {and others} suggest loudly that Cuba is secretly "contacting the US over Maduro." If you tap the arrow above you can see and hear the 4-minute YouTube report on that sensational rumor.
And...Below is what Reuters said:
Regardless of what happens between the U. S. and Venezuela, it is For Sure that Cuba and the entire region will also be drastically affected.
In addition to the massive U. S. military force in the Caribbean Sea between Cuba and Venezuela, the U. S. also has prime military bases in the same area as depicted by the red circles shown above. That includes the red circle on the southeastern tip of Cuba where the U. S. has maintained a military base since 1903. So it is hoped, despite the fact that the U. S. is surely poised to end the alleged Venezuelan drug shipments and Maduro's alleged involvement in them, some political solution will prevent a military solution. But at the moment, what happens is anybody's guess.

Only Vietnam Supports Hungry Cuban Children!!

The Washington Post published this photo of a little hungry Cuban girl and then BBC News used its international platform to spread it around the world. But it seems that the Vietnam government and the everyday Vietnamese people are the only outsiders who are actually trying to help little Cuban girls like this one.
Any Google Search {like the one above} will inform anyone who cares about the acute "Food Shortages" in Cuba. And, yes -- as shown above -- such information will always mention the endless "U. S. EMBARGO as one of the causes."
Further media searches about the hunger problems in Cuba appear to reveal that the nation of Vietnam and the everyday Vietnamese people are the only foreign entities concerned about the dire food shortages in Cuba. The Vietnamese people recently sent a shipload of rice plus the equivalent of $25 million dollars to help hungry people in Cuba.
In addition to the direct help for Cuban people from the everyday Vietnamese people, the Vietnam goverment also is now providing massive assistance in helping Cuba grow more of its own food. Vietnam maintains that the fertile Cuban soil would be able to produce ample food products for its own people "if not for the EMBARGO that restricts proper form machinery, etc."
Vietnam has sent its top farm expert Tran Tron Prai to Cuba to help Cuban farmers have both the know-how as well as the modern machinery and fertilizer to grow its own food on the Caribbean island's fertile soil. Cuba has long claimed that harsh sanctions, such as the U. S. Embargo that has existed since 1962, has kept Cuba from having the wherewithal to produce enough of its own food. Vietnam, led by Mr. Prai, is providing Cuba the financial help as well as the expertise to grow its own food products.
This photo shows Cuban farmers using Vietnamese farm equipment and know-how to grow food in Cuba. Yes, Vietnam -- which has been a U. S. ally and key trade partner since the long and bloody Vietnam War ended in 1975 -- is bravely and uniquely trying to help Cuban families cope with the island's regional and international economic strangulation. Constantly reading about food shortages and island-wide power blackouts in Cuba, the everyday Vietnamese people recently donated their money -- more than $25 million worth -- to struggling Cuban families. That spurred help from the Vietnamese government too.
Yes, any Google search such as the above will reveal that Vietnam and the United States are important trade partners, and have been that way since the long and bloody Vietnam War ended in the 197Os.
In contrast to massive trade with faraway Vietnam, the United States goes to great lengths to block trade with its close neighbor Cuba.
While drastically restricting money-producing Tourism to Cuba, the United States supports Tourism to Vietnam and other countries thousands of miles away.
The Washington Post published this photo of a hungry Cuban child.
Why is Vietnam the only country that cares about her?
Cuba needs HELP to feed its children.
The Voice of America, the international news agency supported by U. S. tax dollars, stressed the Cuban protests spawned by the "Food Shortages and Power Outages" in Cuba. But the only country in the world in December of 2025 that seems to care enough to actually try to help hungry Cuban families is...faraway Vietnam!!
And Cuba is 11,103 miles from Vietnam.

Deadly Diseases Hit Economic-ravaged Cuba

Latest Jolt for Cuba in December of 2025

Today -- December 3rd in 2025 -- the Associated Press flashed this photo around the world from Havana with this caption: "A national police officer directs traffic in Havana after a power outage. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025. {AP photo by Ramon Espinosa}." Of course, constant power outages are not the only dire economic problems plaguing Cuba in this last month of 2025.

In this first week of December in 2025 above you can see the Top five Cuban Headlines flashing around the world. Adding to Cuba's drastic economic problems are deadly preventable diseases -- Chikungunya and Dengue -- that are killing Cubans including 21 children in recent days. London-based Reuters is the international News Agency best covering that news while CBS News is the U. S. news source best reporting it. Below are the first three paragraphs of the CBS News report on December 2, 2025:
As shown above, CBS News this week points out that Cuba has "long been known for its medical and pharmaceutical expertise" but now Cuba simply does not have the economic wherewithal to deal with such a problem involving chikungunya and Dengue that in years past the island's medical expertise was praised for dealing with, a fact that other Caribbean nations learned from and benefited from. Also note that in the last paragraph shown above CBS News said: "With the country under U. S. sanctions and its critical tourism sector left in ruins by Covid, a dearth of foreign currency has seen a steep decline in Cuba's medical service and prevention programs such as mosquito fumigation."
Since January of 2025 Miami-born U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U. S. President Donald Trump have tightened the U. S. sanctions on Cuba, including the tightening of the U. S. Embargo on the nearby island. In this first week in December in 2025 CBS News cited "U. S. sanctions" as a key reason Cuba no longer is able to adequately protect its citizens from preventable mosquito-driven diseases as chikungunya and dengue.
The important CBS News update on the mosquito-caused diseases currently killing Cubans in December of 2025 relate, as pointed out by CBS News, to "U.S. sanctions"  -- most notably the endless U. S. EMBARGO that, incredibly, has existed since 1962 and in 2025 is harsher than ever!!!
In this first week in December in 2025 the latest important nation to give up on Cuba is Belgium, which in the past had been supportive of the Cuban people.
There are now 193 nations that make up the United Nations. Each October for the past 33 years the UN Nations have voted overwhelmingly to beg the United States to end its Embargo on Cuba, usually with only the U. S. and Israel voting to keep it. But in 2025 the U. S. -- the richest and most powerful nation in the world -- was influential enough to get a total of seven nations to support the Embargo, including countries such as Ukraine and Montenegro. But still the near-unanimity against the Embargo continues to be ignored year-after-year by the United States.
