Cuba In the NEW Biden Era

 Better Than The Trump Era????

Every presidential transition in the United States since the 1950's has probably been more important to Cubans on the island than they have been to Cuban-Americans and other Americans in the United States. That is simply because Cubans on the island consider such transitions in Washington to be LIFE-or-DEATH matters to them. A Republican president, they have come to believe, will try to starve or kill them. A Democratic president, they believe, might not starve or kill them but even they will not allow them to thrive unless they surrender their sovereignty to a foreign superpower. Take, for example, the transition depicted above on January 20th-2017 that had the Republican President Donald Trump replacing the Democratic President Barack Obama. The decent Obama presidency once from 2009 till 2017 even visited Cuba to tell the Cubans they "had nothing more to fear from the United States." And Obama wasn't lying; he actually tried his best to normalize relations with Cuba. That all ended on Jan. 20-2017 when Trump, totally dictated to by Little Havana extremists named Rubio, Claver-Carone, Ros-Lehtinen, Diaz-Balart, etc. -- with no concern whatsoever with what 11 million Cubans on the island or the other 330 million Americans thought about U.S.-Cuban relations. And thus, to put it correctly if succinctly, during its entire four years of the Trump presidency it tried its damnest to starve the 11 million Cubans on the island so they would meekly turn Havana back over to Little Havana for the first time in over six decades. But, somehow for Trump's four years, the stubborn and pugnacious Cubans on the island still resisted that demand from the strongest and richest nation in the world, its superpower neighbor, probably because of generational memories and recollections in Cuba of the sheer brutality of the U.S.-backed Batista-MAFIA dictatorship in the 1950's, which ended only with the monumental victory of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959.
And that preamble brings us up to the January 20th-2021 transition that saw the Democrat Joe Biden replace the Republican Donald Trump as the President of the United States. I can attest, judging from their ubiquitous Social Media internet opinions, that just about every Cuban on the island prayed that Biden would beat Trump, which happened in a heated, money-mired, and controversial election that was probably decided by extreme amounts of left-wing money from ultra-billionaire individuals and corporations. But Cubans on the island believed that any Democratic president would be better for them than any Republican president, and their prayers for Biden were answered!!! While Cubans on the island knew Trump had been 100% guided only by the few very extremist Cuban-Americans as opposed to the majority of more decent Cuban-Americans, they knew that four more years of TRUMP might have spelled another Little Havana-inspired Batistiano-like rule on their island. Yet, in the first few weeks of the Biden administration, as I predicted in this forum before and after January 20th-2021, have not much changed America's long-standing monopolistic and imperialist aspirations to control and dominate Cuba. I'll explain.
Above are the first three paragraphs of a major article this week by Politico, a prime political journalistic source in Washington. It shows that, even with a Democratic U. S. president in office, the incomparable influence of the USA, the world's top financial and military power, can force even Cuba's best democratic friends to cease their efforts to denounce the ageless and genocidal U. S. blockade of Cuba. The words above shows that the 27 EU nations that normally oppose genocide don't apply that principle to Cuba because the EU must bow to the USA's incomparable economic and military international influence. Politico pointed out that the EU has rudely summoned its Ambassador to Cuba, Alberto Navarro, to return to Brussels and explain why he signed off on a letter to President Biden that begged Biden to end or at least soften the ageless Embargo/Blockade that mostly assaults totally innocent Cuban families on the island to appease a handful of mean-minded Cubans in Little Havana/Miami and in CONGRESS. As you can see in the last sentence above from the Politico article, the letter that Ambassador Navarro signed that went to President Biden urged him to "stop being a hostile neighbor to Cuba and stop interfering in our {the EU's} domestic affairs." In other words, according to the letter, the EU's Ambassador to Cuba, Mr. Navarro, not only wanted the U. S. to stop its genocide against innocent Cuban families but it also didn't want to have to capitulate to the U.S.'s usurpation of the EU's freedom to make its own judgments, such as those concerning Cuba.
This is Josep Borrell, the Foreign Policy Chief of the EU nations. Borrell is the man who ordered the EU's Ambassador to Cuba, Alberto Navarro, to Brussels to rebuke him for having the audacity to sign a letter that was sent to U. S. President Joe Biden requesting that the U. S. at least soften the U. S. genocide against innocent Cuban families that has been in place since 1962.
Interestingly enough, study the photo above and you will see that the EU's Foreign Minister Josep Borrell a few days ago was in Moscow meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is shown on the left giving Borrell some advice. Lavrov, in front of photographers and videographers, told Borrell, "The European Union needs to try to stop or at least soften the U. S. blockade against the people of Cuba." And Borrell replied, We will. We surely will." But that was the very same Borrell, a few days later, who sharply reprimanded the EU's Ambassador to Cuba, Alberto Navarro, for signing a letter that begged for the new U. S. President, Biden, to soften the U. S. genocide against Cuban families. In other words, Little Havana's iron-grip on the USA's Cuban policies is strong enough, even with a Democrat as the President in Washington, to blunt the 27-nation EU's tendencies to oppose the U. S. Embargo/Blockade of Cuban families.
Since 1962 generations of timid and propagandized Americans have been warned to not feel ashamed of this internationally ubiquitous Carlos LaTuff image of the indecent U. S. Embargo of Cuba. And, incredibly, Americans have been educated within the bowels of their Democracy to believe that the worldwide image of the United States depicted above is to be accepted and supported. Of course, such propaganda always depends on the lies that the U.S.-backed Batista-Mafia rule in Cuba in the 1950's was a great Democracy while everything about Revolutionary rule of Cuba since 1959 has been wrong and despicable.
Of course, since 1959 Little Havana-dictated propaganda in the U. S. has preached that: "THE MOB DID NOT 'RUN' PRE-CASTRO CUBA!" Of course, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!
Surely in 1952 the Dulles brothers -- the ultra-powerful Secretary of State & CIA Director in the Eisenhower administration -- well knew that the top echelon of the Mafia, Lucky Luciano & Meyer Lansky, dominated Batista's brutal and thieving dictatorship in the 1950's, but Americans are still not supposed to admit that. America today is simply not the great Democracy it was prior to 1952, the year American citizens meekly permitted the U.S. to team with the Mafia to support the brutal Batista dictatorship in Cuba so rich Americans could partake in the wholesale robbery of the lush island nation.
Since January of 1959 when the Cuban Revolution chased the Batista mob to U. S. soil, Miami in Florida and Newark in New Jersey have produced the politicians that have dictated the USA's Cuban policies. On the first day of March-2021 U. S. Senator Bob Menendez, a controversial Democrat from Newark, and U. S. Senator Marco Rubio, a controversial Republican from Miami, effectively dictate America's Cuban policies. And that is true whether a Democrat or a Republican is the President of the United States.
Every well-known Counter Revolutionary Cuban in Cuba or in the U. S. well knows -- just as Yoani Sanchez in Cuba knows -- knows that a trip to the U. S. Senate to meet with Rubio and Menendez {as shown above} is the way to acquire the wherewithal to vastly enlarge their Counter Revolutionary work once they return to Cuba.
The truly extraordinary amount of U. S. dollars that are showered on dissidents such as Yoani Sanchez are staggering.
But, of course, the incredibly weakened mainstream U. S. media is not courageous enough to report on the staggering amount of U. S. tax-dollars devoted to dissidents who work powerfully to derail Cuba's revolutionary government. So, just about the only source reporting on the astronomical U. S. dollars devoted to Cuban dissident projects is the great unbiased journalist and Florida professor Tracey Eaton. His must-read blog CUBA MONEY PROJECT regularly reports such detailed facts, based on Freedom of Information laws. Thus, that blog is the way to see details, names, and charts revealing the extreme piggybank of exact U. S. tax-dollars regularly doled out to Cuban dissidents.
And I repeat...to this very day on March1st, 2021, the USA's lucrative Cuban policies designed to overthrow Revolutionary Cuba is based on the lie that "The mob didn't rule Cuba prior to the Cuban Revolution's triumph on January 1, 1959!!!" So, of course, Americans today are not supposed to read superb books like the one above nor are Americans today supposed to read Tracey Eaton's CUBA MONEY PROJECT blog. In other words, ignorant Americans are not supposed to know how many of their tax-dollars go to dissidents who are supposed to help undermine & overthrow Cuba!!
While Cuba's superpower neighbor, the U. S., is engaged in its decades-long efforts to starve the Cuban economy and therefore also starve Cuban families, the largest and most beautiful island in the Caribbean island nation would also likely be the Caribbean's most prosperous nation if it was allowed to not be dominated BY ITS SUPERPOWER NEIGHBOR. For example, this past weekend the world's largest travel company, Tripadvisor, again listed Cuba's beaches among the greatest beaches in the WORLD even though the U. S. uses its incomparable power to keep Americans from visiting them and also trying to keep non-Americans from visiting them.
On this last weekend of February of 2021 both Cuba and its northern superpower neighbor the United States are still battling the COVID-19 pandemic. With winter still roiling much of the U. S., many Americans crave beautiful beaches and Cuba is blessed with some of the most enticing beaches in the world, although the six-decade+ U. S. Embargo/Blockade against Cuba, of course, restricts Americans from going to Cuba because it might interfere with the U. S. policy of trying to starve Cuba's economy. The U. S., of course, also uses its incomparable power and influence to try to restrict all international tourism to Cuba. That, of course, was interesting this week when the world's largest travel website, Tripadvisor, listed Cuba's Cayo Santa Maria Beach {shown above} as the SECOND BEST BEACH IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.
The image above is from the lobby of the 5-star Royalton Hotel on Cayo Santa Maria, which Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel website, listed as ONE OF THE WORLD'S SECOND BEST BEACH IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
As we start into March of 2021, even with the Democratic Joe Biden having replaced the Republican Donald Trump as the President of the United States, a handful of rich and powerful Cuban Americans in Miami, Newark, and in Congress keep restricting Americans from visiting Cayo Santa Maria's world-class beach. In fact, the last time the U. S. government urged Americans to visit Cuba was during the 1950's when the U.S.-backed and Mafia-backed Batista dictatorship ruled the Caribbean's largest island brutally but lucratively as it craved tourists from the U.S., especially to gamble and to indulge in drugs and prostitution.
After the Cuban Revolution chased the Batistianos to the U. S. in January of 1959, drastic U.S.-Batistiano efforts to recapture Cuba, including the Bay of Pigs military attack in April of 1961, proved unsuccessful and drastically increased the pugnacious island's prestige in the world. So, as shown above, since 1962 the U. S. has cruelly encircled the island of Cuba with a drastic economic Embargo designed to "starve, deprive, and make miserable" Cubans on the island to induce them to rise up and overthrow their Revolutionary government. As the world enters into the month of March of 2021, the cruel and shameless Embargo remains in place to appease a handful of unchecked and shameless Counter Revolutionaries in Miami, Newark, and Congress.
Two vicious Counter Revolutionary Cuban-Americans in the U. S. Senate -- Marco Rubio, a Republican from Miami; and Bob Menendez, a Democrat from Newark -- will make sure the cruel, six-decade old Embargo endures. And unfortunately, in the two-party U. S. political system, when it comes to Cuba, the opinions of 11 million Cubans in Cuba and 330 million Americans in the U. S. don't matter...just the opinions of a handful of Cuban-American benefactors aligned with their political and economic sycophants. It, perhaps, could be admitted that the demise of the U. S. democracy began its downward spiral in 1952 when the United States of America teamed with the Mafia to support the brutal Batista dictatorship.
It was 1952 when the United States, the world's most powerful and most beloved Democracy, teamed with the top echelon of the Mafia to support the brutal and thieving Batista dictatorship. That occurred when the U. S. decided that rich U. S. businessmen and companies needed to partake in the rape and robbery of the lush island, which they did from 1952 until the wee hours of January 1-1959 when Batista fled the island in his getaway airplane {landing first in the Dominican Republic, was led by another brutal U.S.-backed dictator, Rafael Trujillo. But, of course, many of the getaway money-stuffed planes, boats, and ships exiting Cuba starting at 3:00 A. M. on January 1-1959 ended up in nearby U. S. cities -- notably Miami and Newark. But, of course, it was Miami where Little Havana evolved as the capital of Batistiano USA...from 1959 till to this day.
